《Multi Me Myself And I》Ch. 28 Foreshadowing Future

After looking at the humans' desecrate Tyroceous corpse for a while, Jay then got bored and went to sleep. There wasn't much to do in this world besides look at new things.
While sleeping, Jay thought about when he was a kid. He had always wanted to ride dinosaurs and there were dinosaurs right here on this island but he didn't want to get up and go ride them. Still thinking he wondered what Stake was doing. Deciding to have some fun he looked at the perception of Stake.
Stake and Alto's alliance had caused a storm in the continent. Many kingdoms wanted to condemn Altos for siding with goblins but they didn't dare do so since Altos was rank 3. The empires of the continent warily looked at Altos and thought about how to sabotage them.
Currently, in a room with humans and goblins, Stake and Altos were discussing things with each other. Their goal currently was to both make an empire for their people. Looking at each other, they spoke neutrally.
"Stake, how is the farm doing?"
The farm Altos was referring to was raising beasts for the empire. Altos was the one who came up with the plan. The beast they were raising were hydras, white talons, white sharp, white jaw, and other creatures.
"It is doing well currently and it's on schedule."
Altos nods and smiled. "It's a shame we couldn't tame the frost yeti."
"Indeed, that's a shame."
The frost yeti was far stronger than they had imagined. It seemed to be the guardian of the mountain itself. The mana of the mountain had aided it in fighting off both Altos and Stake even though it was only a high rank two beasts. It was too fast for Altos to land a killing blow and its hide was too strong for Stake to harm it. That's not also mentioning the fact it riled up its yeti horde which three ice rocks at the two of them.
The yeti’s were strong and intelligent. With them, the infrastructure of entire kingdoms could be built easily. Unable to get the yeti's they decided to move into other goals.
"Have you located the territory of the Dryad?" Altos asked while holding his small his with his chin.
"No, I haven't."
"If you haven't, then just give up on it. You should instead find reach peak rank 2 quickly so you can ascend to rank 3."
"I'm trying but currently there aren't enough preys."
"Don't lie Stake, I know you keep giving mana cores to your kind."
The other goblins heard what Altos said and looked at Stake in shock. They immediately started complaining about how Stake shouldn't hinder his growth and they could take care of themselves. Stake looked at them and shook his head.

"I need higher quality mana core to reach peak rank 2. Currently, there aren't any creatures that I can find which has the quality mana core."
Altos understood Stake's reasoning and saw why Stake was stagnating. A person's talent determines how fast and how much mana they could absorb. If a mana core with a capacity of 300 gets absorbed by someone who didn't have high talent, they would only absorb around 10 or 100 capacity of mana.
To explain would be like this. A talented person drinks water with a straw while an untalented person just licks the water with their tongue. Licking water with their tongue means like they won't be able to drink all of it before it's evaporated.
Why don't people just absorb mana from the surroundings instead of using mana core? Absorbing mana from the surrounding was like trying to drinking clouds while absorbing mana from a mana core was like drinking water. One is more concentrated and easier to do than the other.
The mana quality that Stake needed to advance was essential. The higher the quality of mana, the more he could absorb from it. To explain would be like this. Low-quality mana core was like drinking raindrops while high-quality mana core was like drinking from a cup. There's also super high-quality mana core that was so high in mana that absorbing from them was like getting tossed in the ocean and drowning. Many low-quality mana core could also equate to a super high-quality mana core.
When Stake absorbed the many mana cores in Tiluso castle basement. It was equivalent to him drowning and if there wasn't someone there to save him, he would have died.
Altos thought about Stake problem and how he could solve it. It could easily be solved if they invaded other kingdoms but the empires would most likely try to stop the two by sending reinforcements.
Currently, everything was in a delicate balance. Everyone was watching for what moves Stake and Altos would make. After thinking for many while Altos came up with a solution to Stake problem.
"Go further west Stake, there should be creatures there that will help you reach peak rank 2. While you do that I promise with my mana oath that I will protect your kind."
Seeing his sincerity, Stake nods. A mana oath was a will mana set out to keep. Not keeping the mana oath could make mana abandon you and worst-case scenario you just might become a normal person again. Stake and Altos discussed more things until they were done.
Back on the island, Jay quit looking at the perspective of Stake and went back to thinking about other things. After Tesra was done with her training on this island he would leave it with her. Jay wanted to go visit a civilized kingdom somewhere in this ocean and try out new food while sightseeing.

To make sure everything wasn't spoiled by his mana perception when he was sightseeing. Jay decided to decrease his mana perception when he started visiting places. Feeling the sun around him he went back to sleep while decreasing his mana perception to just the island.
In the empire of Calmeo, an emperor was currently looking to listen to his subjects speak. The emperor had blond hair with blue eyes while looking old. His subjects spoke about how the goblins and Altos were a threat. The ignorant subject however argued that there was no need to pay attention to the small fry. Everyone was bickering with each other.
Currently, the empire was very prosperous. Many nobles did not want to waste manpower going to war when they could just stay in the empire and relax. Those who wanted to go to war wanted to earn glory so that they could be rewarded greatly by the emperor. Seeing them bickering on and on the emperor spoke.
"We will not be going to war and that is final."
Many were disappointed and most soon left the throne room. The only people left were the emperor who sat silently in the throne room with his wives, sons, daughters, and guards who were waiting for him. He looked to the door that lead outside the throne hall.
"What do you two want?"
His wives, children, and guards became confused at what he said. From the blue carpet in the throne room, two figured showed up. They both were old men wearing cloaks. One had grey hair with grey eyes rippling with muscle while the other had blue hair and blue eyes with an average build while holding a staff.
"We just came for a greeting, Steyan." The grey-haired old man spoke while smiling.
"We also came here to offer you an opportunity." The blue-haired old man spoke.
"Who are you, people." One of the emperor's wives spoke loudly with rage in her.
Steyan looked at her and everyone and told them to shush.
"What opportunity do you two bring?"
The grey-haired old man spoke loudly while smiling. "The elves are in a worry Steyan. They have predicted that Galvion will resurrect soon."
Steyan wives, knights, and his children became shocked at what they heard. Galvion was a very powerful human in legends. It was said that Galvion was at least a low-rank 4 mage. Galvion was a commoner who had many bones to pick with people. When he first appeared on the continent he started wiping out many empires and kingdoms.
The many races of the continent were also affected by him and they waged war against him. They formed a coalition and attacked him expecting to win until he unleashed a terrifying attack. The attack had devastated most of the land in the west which was once elven territory. Today the land in the west was mostly desert and one could find ancient weapons and relics there.
Everyone thought Galvion reign would go on forever after the coalition failed. That was until an archangel descended from the sky and fought him. The battle was said to be long and more and more angels kept showing up. In the final part of the battle, it is said that the angels destroyed Galvion soul which shattered it across the continent. Most likely his soul had infested many creatures and would soon combine to resurrect him.
"What does that have to do with us though?"
The blue-haired old man spoke up. "They require our help, to fight Galvion off. In exchange for our help, they'll give each of us a cup full of Tresna sap."
Steyan eyes widen and he smiled. "When will we start.”
The blue-haired old man shook his head. “I don't know, we’ll have to wait for the elves to call us.”
Stefan nods and the two old men vanished away.
One of the princes spoke up after they disappeared. “Who were they, father?”
“They are old friends of mine. You know them very well. The grey-haired old man is Vimos and the blue-haired old man is Liaton.”
The prince and everyone else besides the emperor became surprised. Vimos was the wondering rank 3 warrior while Liaton was the rank 3 mage emperor of the Vilga empire.
“Do you think you'll be fine with fighting Galvion father?”
Steyan nods to confirm he’ll be fine fighting with Galvion. Galvion rank had most likely dropped to rank 3 after his soul was shattered. If Galvion was still rank 4, the elves wouldn't have bothered asking for his assistance since it would just be a massacre.
Thinking about Tresna sap, Steyan smiled. Tresna was a spirit tree that protected the elves. Its sap had a high concentration of mana that could be fully absorbed without losing mana in the process. Thinking about how old he was, Steyan decided he needed a heir soon. One of his grandchildren had caught his attention with his talent so he would be sure to feed him some Tresna sap.
The future of the Calmeo empire was currently looking bright. As long as Steyan could get some Tresna sap, the empire's future would be set. Thinking about the coming battle, he decided to prepare some means.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

Daughters of the Void
Emily is a high school student. Too tall and developed for her age. Her will has been broken, so now, she is fearful and insecure. But that, doesn't explain why those around her bully and despise her. Perhaps... it is related to the dark and deep secret that she has inexplicably forgotten? What made her forget it? The strange being, with whom Emily once made a pact, intends to find out what has happened. To do so, will take her to a world terribly different from this one. Why does it take her to another world? Why did Emily forget what makes her different? Why the hell, all of a sudden, can Emily see three floating panels in the middle of the darkness? What is this? A video game with a lush green-eyed redhead as the main character? Daughters of the Void is a story told from multiple points of view, which occur in parallel. As if they were several series in one, where each protagonist advances at their own pace. At first, the story of each character will advance slowly, so I ask you to be patient. Soon, you will discover a story of extreme survival in a medieval fantasy world. A story, a bit dark, that can also be a bit comical at certain moments. But above all, it can be harsh and cruel to its protagonists. I’ve introduced LitRPG elements in a very soft and almost non-existent way at the beginning of the story. As the story progresses, they will become more and more abundant, depending on the protagonist. Emily is the main and first protagonist of "Daughters of the Void". After her; Dianna, Tanya and others. Above all, I’m looking for your immersion, so I will make you aware of most of the thoughts of the protagonists. I also want the reader to feel some uncertainty, putting yourselves in the shoes of some girls who can't find what they lack. I look for realism, but also to surprise myself. Around chapter 25 there is an awakening of the protagonists. Moment in which they will begin to behave as they really want to be. Unrivaled adventurers. Heroines of legend. The secondary protagonists were created to cover some deficiencies that I noticed that the series had when it was only Emily, so their chapters will be more sporadic. Tags and warnings give me creative freedom. This is the first story I've written, although they are not my first drawings. Be kind with your reviews. I know everything can be improved. Also, English is not my native language, neither is my brother's. He’s the one who translates the story. Constructive feedback is always welcome. We learn day by day. Everything helps us to improve the quality of this humble project. Let us know what you think.
