《EEPOS: from rags to godhood》The sons of the red moon part 3

Meanwhile at the gathering place of the sons of the red moon gang, the boss of the gang was hearing about the incident that occurred at the docks from his subordinates. The boss was a fat man with women clinging on to him. He had tacky jewelry on him, and his hair was greased up and folded along his head.
"Boss what are we going to do. Those rats have a new leader now. You heard the rumors and you saw the scene where there was blood spilled everywhere," explained one of the gangsters to the boss.
The boss seemed not interested and instead flirted and groped one of the women around him. The woman tried to look, and act interested, but it was obviously hard for her since the boss was fat and ugly.
"Boss!?" yelled the subordinate again.
"Yeah, I heard you already. Damn these young ones. Back in my day, I would have you killed already. Maybe I should?" Thought the boss to himself.
"Please boss. I... I am sorry," begged the same gangster.
"Relax. And about this divine boss of the black rat gang. No worries. We have our own divine person on our side," said the boss with a sinister smile.
At that moment a man came from the back. He was carrying a long sword on his shoulders. The sword didn't have a scabbard and the sword was almost as long as the man was tall, and the man was very tall. The sword looked more like a spear almost. He had some cheap-looking armor on him and was wearing a worn-out helmet that covered his entire face.
"Remember guys. Money is a divine power of its own. With it you can buy divine powers," laughed the boss to his men.
"Oy. Fat-man. The price will go up if I fight a divine person. It's not your usual target," said the man with the long sword.

"Of course. Do not you worry about the money. We have plenty of it," said the boss to the man with the sword and then whispered to him," You can take down a guy with divine powers, right?"
"Hmph…. Wouldn't be my first," chuckled the man with the long sword.
The next morning Haley prevented Rufus from going to work to the docks again. It was hard to stop Rufus from leaving since he felt obligated to finish the job. They decided to plan their next moves carefully with Haley, Leif, and Rufus. Make sure to avoid any unnecessary conflict with the sons of the red moon gang.
"So, Leif mind explaining to us how gang wars go usually?" asked Haley
"Well as you saw no real declaration has been made but based on the incident that happened yesterday it is sure to say that conflict will happen," explained Leif," They would most likely target our places of business so most likely they would harass and attack our guys who work at the market for example. Going after our thieves who pull of robberies in the city is harder to disrupt, but they will target anyone they believe to be a member of the black rat gang. Wars end usually with one of the sides formally surrendering after getting too many losses and accepting the terms of the winner. Usually, there haven't been many conflicts since we have been paying tribute to the other two gangs. But now it is different. Before yesterday's incident unfortunately some of our guys were starting to get cocky because of our boss's power and started to move into the sons of red moons territories doing their business there. Conflict is unavoidable now. "
Haley pondered the best-case scenario for them. None of them knew where the sons of the red moon gang's hideout were. Their only option was to entrust the entire success of the war to Rufus who was now determined to fight and get this war over. Reports came early in the morning where groups of the black rat gang were ambushed on the streets. More reports came of attacks on black rat gang members all around the city. Rufus decided to run out. Leif and Haley followed him.

"Don't go off on your own Rufus," yelled Haley to him desperately trying to catch up to him.
Rufus took a large leap and jumped three meters high. Both Leif and Haley were surprised by this. It seemed that yesterday's training to use Rufus's divine powers had also given him heightened strength and agility. On top of the roof of the building Rufus tried to get a better view. Haley climbed up to follow him and Leif desperately also, but he was not as agile as Haley.
"Seems like yesterday's pep talk with the old man helped. You seem stronger now and you have burning willpower flowing in your eyes," said Haley.
"Look at yourself. You climbed here also pretty fast," smiled and laughed Rufus.
"Hey don't you remember? I was doing cat burglary jobs for the black rat gang earlier. Knowing how to climb on rooftops is a must for us,"
Soon screams were heard. They were coming from the west of the city. Haley and Rufus ran towards the destination. Leif had just gotten on the rooftop when both Haley and Rufus had left to where the screams were coming from.
When they reached the location, they found three members of the sons of the red moon gang attacking two black rat gang members. They were not using weapons but instead beating them up with their fists. The three rival gang members were bigger and more intimidating looking than the black rat gang members.
Haley decided to be the faster of the two and jump kneed one of the rival gang members on his chin. Rufus was surprised at how skilled in fighting Haley was.
"Where did you learn that?" Asked Rufus from Haley.
"Hmph. You underestimate me. I've asked old man Haufen to teach me some martial arts. Compered to him fighting these chumps is a piece of cake," stated Haley and then thought to herself," I can't let Rufus always do the dangerous parts. I have to do my share and be always the one being protected."
Another man came with a sledgehammer and tried to hit Haley with it. Just before it was about to make contact Rufus stepped in to save Haley. He grabbed on the sledgehammer and then the sledgehammer exploded into tiny pieces. He then grabbed the arm of the gangster. Blood started to gush out of the arm and the gangster was screaming in agony. Eventually, the hand exploded leaving the man screaming on the ground. The last man was terrified of what he had just seen.
"Do not dare to hurt my sister," said Rufus in an angry voice.
At that moment steps were heard coming from nearby. The steps were calm.
"So, you are the rumored new boss of the black rat gang," said the man with the long sword.
Rufus didn't know how to respond, but Haley felt uneasy. Haley could somehow sense the divine power coming out of this man. Unlike Adolf Blasaber who had a malicious aura coming from him this person had a calm one that made him even more frightening.
"Rufus, be careful. He is dangerous," said Haley as heads up to Rufus.
The man suddenly burst between Haley and Rufus and said, "You have good instincts."
