《EEPOS: from rags to godhood》The search for emotions part 2

Emilia brought the prince back to her house. She told her parents that the person claimed to be the prince. They first didn't believe him, but his hunting clothes and accent indicated that he was at least nobility. The prince was taken care of and thought of like a mentally ill person.
The family showed him love and his emotionless deminer also strengthen the idea that something was wrong with the person mentally. The prince was surprised though of how down to earth they were with him when everyone before had trotted around him.
The next morning Emilia asked the prince to help her in the stables. The Rosewalk family had three horses in total and they ran a wealthy farm. Everyone from the family including Emilia helped by either taking care of the livestock or working in the fields.
Emilia dragged prince Markus to the stables to help her with the work. The prince was a little reluctant at first but eventually caved in. He then was helping at the stables feeding the horses early in the morning. He had never before done manual labor.
He then was put to work on other livestock animals on the farm. He was surprisingly clumsy with everything he was doing. It was obvious to Emilia he had never worked with his hands before. He then during the day was made to bring food for the people working on the fields with Emilia. He saw Emilia taking care of her parents and even the commoners what he thought was unusual to the norm.
"So this is the strange new yeoman who claims to be the prince," laughed one of the workers.
"I am the prince of Jacob kingdom," said Markus.
They all burst into laughter.
"Stop making fun of him. He works diligently and doesn't complain."

"Yes, lady Emilia."
Any search party hadn't yet found the prince. The prince started to feel he was purposely left.
A few days had past and the prince was still working on the farm. Doing hard labor and in his free time hanging with Emilia. Emilia was trying to somehow cheer up the prince not knowing he just was emotionless. Emilia had taken him on one night on a horse ride across the fields surrounding their humble villa.
"Let's see how good of a rider you are? Try to catch up and not to get lost this time with your horse," said a happy Emilia laughing.
The prince started to ride faster trying to catch up to Emilia. Emilia was just playing with the prince only letting him get close only to ride further ahead.
"C'moon. Is that the best you can do?" Emilia provoked the prince.
The prince started to feel some frustration. He started to try to ride faster only for Emilia to play with her more.
"Don't blame the horse when you lose. You have the fastest horse from the farm," yelled Emilia.
"I am not blaming the horse!" yelled a bit frustrated Markus.
The prince was able to get the horse ride faster. They were competing who would get over a certain hill first. Emilia was also riding with her full might also. In the end, the prince was able to nudge the victory, but Emilia at the last sprint fell from her horse.
"EMILIA!" yelled Markus.
He rushed to see was Emilia okay. Emilia was laying motionless on the ground. When the prince arrived at Emilia she turned around and started laughing.
"Hahahahaha. You should have seen your face," laughed Emilia at Markus.
Markus looked at Emilia. He started to feel. He had emotions. He finally felt like something. The prince was extremely curious about it. The night ended with the two of them returning to the villa of the Rosewalk family.

The next morning a rescue party had finally come to the door of the Rosewalk villa. They were looking for the prince. The Rosewalk family were extremely surprised and terrified that the person was the actual prince. They were afraid that he would punish them for making him work at the farm. The prince was not interested in anything like that and returned to the royal palace.
The prince was able to deduce that it was a ploy to get the prince lost in the forest since he was very unpopular with many of the nobles of the capital. He didn't though care about that and made sure through August that no one should even try and lay their hands on him.
He sent August to threaten all the nobles who had taken part in the ploy. After that, he put his attention on something he was extremely curious about.
He was very curious about the feelings he had in the Rosewalk villa. After just two days of being in the capital, the prince decided to leave for the Rosewalk villa. He arrived there and the father and mother of Emilia bowed when they met him. They offered him the best foods and drinks they had that they previously didn't offer him since they were pricey even for the Rosewalk family.
The prince wasn't impressed with that instead asked the family to leave the room. He wanted to talk alone just to Emilia. The family obeyed the prince's command but stayed next to the door for their daughters' sake.
"How may I assist you?" asked a bit scared Emilia.
The prince just stared at her waiting for something to happen. He was waiting to feel something like last time.
"How did you do it?" asked the prince.
"Excuse me?"
"Last time we met, I felt something. How did you do it?"
"I still don't understand…"
"Last time we met during the horse race you gave me a tingling sensation. How did you do it."
Emilia felt embarrassed and proceeded to slap the prince. Emilia left the room and left an oblivious and confused prince in the room.

Obligate of a Self-Ordained Sorcerer
Come join the Discord! It was a typical late-night friday for Mara, secluded in her apartment in front of a digital expanse, relentlessly mashing code into a keyboard. An introverted workaholic, but this was what she wanted - what she had strived so hard to achieve. So why did she feel so lost? Her life was productive, comfortable, satisfying. Plenty had it worse but she still felt... ungrateful? Stunted? The right word escaped her, but she could feel the general revelation settling upon her. With it came a choice that would set events in motion far beyond the meager scope of a 'New Game+'. So taking an intrusive portal to god-knows-where, Mara will come to find that her new world offers boons and banes with equal abandon. Magic, skills, and unforgiving difficulty. For a frail human shut-in, finding herself stranded in the middle of a sprawling dungeon was one of the least desirable outcomes. Food and water would be the least of her problems, why oh why couldn't she just get summoned by some pervy king to slay a demon army or something? This is a story of magic and adventure with skills and stats galore. A litrpg / isekai epic that I've been inspired to make after years of wonderful works like "So I'm a Spider," "Rimuru the Slime," "Azarinth Healer," "Negima!?," and plethora of other isekai and fantasy novels and animes. Special shout-out to Douglas Adams, a big influence on narative humor that's had a non-insignificant effect on my writing style. I hope you enjoy joining Mara on her journey as I attempt to scratch the itch they left behind.Chapters target 3-6k~ words. Though I'm personally aiming for a chapter every couple weeks, I think I can at least promise one a month with how busy work's been. I made a Patreon due to requests, if you'd like to support me there I'll be using it to fund artwork and RR ads for increased exposure.
