《EEPOS: from rags to godhood》Two different worlds

Prince Markus was in the study. He was reading books, but couldn't help, but smile. He knew he had won and soon all his hard work was gonna bear fruit. The best being he didn't have to become the king and his ideal life and world would be reality.
August entered the room.
"I believe you heard the news," August said.
"By news, you mean that we have won," the prince asked from August.
August looked like he didn't know what to say. The prince dropped his smile.
"What has happened?" the prince asked.
"Your father ordered that the citizens be armored and forcibly recruited for the defense of the city. He already sent out the garrison and nobles to take every man and boy from the city and ready them for a long siege," August explained the situation.
"WHAT!?"
"Yes, they have enough weapons to spread around to at least another ten thousand soldiers. They will have them all armored by the end of the night. It might make the taking of the city harder for Rufus," August said.
"No. That is not the problem. My father will cause a riot," the prince said and ran out of the study.
He ran towards a window with August running behind him. From the window, they could see a city engulfed in flames. The people were looting and pillaging on the streets. If the people ran into soldiers or nobles, they attacked them without hesitation.
"What the hell is going on?" August said with horrid eyes.
They saw people running to the nobles' district. There they ran into the manors and high estate buildings with all kinds of household tools as weapons. With maddened eyes, they killed every noble person, not carrying were they men, women, old, young.

The people's hatred, pain, suffering, and frustration had hit a boiling point. They were all taking up their frustration on the nobles and the entire class system. With only a few nobles and only two thousand garrison soldiers to keep the people in line, the citizens saw their opportunity.
They started to approach the royal palace. The rioters were hitting on the gates of the royal palace trying to break in. They were scratching on the gates like mad animals. The royal guards ran in front of the gates trying to stop them.
"We have to go now!" Markus said and started to run towards the stables.
August ran behind him. They reached the stables and got on two horses.
"Where are we going?" August asked the prince.
"To the Rosewalk estate," Markus said worrying about Emilia.
They rode out of the stables. They left through the back exit and rode fast to prevent they would not get caught.
The streets were littered with the dead. All the buildings were either on fire or heavily damaged.
They passed through a mob of rioters. They had caught one noble and had started to rip him apart with sheer force. The noble reached out but his head was smashed in with a hammer killing him instantly.
"They are nobles. Get them," one rioter yelled ordering the others to attack the two of them.
The rioters ran towards them in fury. They were surrounded and didn't let them escape. Markus was dragged down from his horse and a group of angry populace swarmed on him. Markus was unable to fight the horde of people away since he had no divinity.
"Look at this one. He doesn't even have divine power," one rioter said and laughed.
Markus was trying to shake them off but was unable since he was too weak. Right before he was going to be stabbed by one of the rioters a lightning bolt killed the person immediately.

August came with a hammer in hand. He was a strong person wearing heavy plate armor with a hammer big enough that it could break even a horse. Every time he hit one person with a hammer it caused an explosion made from lightning bolts. He then struck the ground killing tens of rioters all in one and creating a path from which to escape.
"My prince we have to go now!" yelled August to the prince.
They both got back to their horses and rode through the path August had created. The two of them were able to get away from the capital and were heading towards the Rosewalk estate.

At the Rosewalk estate, things were quiet. The family was having dinner in the dining room.
A large sound was heard. The family was startled because of the sound. The people who always worked at the Rosewalk estate and farm came into the dining hall. The Rosewalk family had always taken care of their people and had worked beside them on the farm always.
"Paul. Is everything alright?" the father of Emilia asked from them.
The people were holding farm tools from pitchforks to schemes. They didn't look happy at all.
"A new order will start now. You filthy nobles will all die," the man said.
They started to bash out the entire place. Rosewalk's family's father made his wife and daughter stand behind him.
"What are you doing. Why are you doing this?" Emilia's father yelled.
"Things will change. Rufus will create a new order. A new nation. A nation without you nobles."
"We have always considered you family. We have worked together and celebrated weddings together. Why are you doing this to us? We have never been like the other nobles," The father said.
"Yeah, but still you were a noble. You never went hungry during winter. You never had to bury your child because they died from being too poor to afford a doctor. You have a chance to drink expensive wines and wear fancy clothes.
"You may play with us and work on the field just so you don't feel anything in your conscious, but the fact is you live in your world. A world that we will destroy now" said the man and pierced the father with a pitchfork.
"Father!" Emilia yelled.
"Run!" said the father with blood coming out from his mouth.
The man looked at Emilia and then whispered into the father's ear.
"I will enjoy my time finally with your daughter," said the man while licking his lips.
Her mother was put to the ground. The men started to rip off her clothes as Emilia in horror started to run away from the men and women.
"Emilia!" the mother yelled.
Emilia was running away from the people who always worked hard with them. She had helped them work in the fields. She brought food for them. She always helped build shelters for them. She was crying as she was running away. Her whole world had come crashing down. She was now desperately trying to get away and hoped Markus would come for her.
Markus was riding toward the Rosewalk estate. Emilia was running toward Markus on the same road.

Dream of the Abyss
Elisa Mary Grant died in a hospital bed after being stuck in it for six months, and like any other, her soul drifted away from her husk when she passed. For her, death was a release. It merely meant that she no longer have to wake up in pain, breathing through tubes and have doctors flood her veins with dubious chemicals for “experimental treatment”. Free from her mortal constraints and useless body, she felt… at peace, serene, even. Death is bliss, after all, when objectively living sucked to the point of extreme. Therefore, there was no reason to mourn at all and she knew she definitely didn't. ... That was until, on her way for a proper reincarnation, she found herself rudely interrupted and left stranded in the great NoWhere. “Wonderful,” she remarked as she floated in the [Beyond], “Just when I thought that suicide is the answer.” Author's note: Updates every Tuesday-Wednesday, probably some time in between. ... P.S Notes: Contains existential questions and nihilistic themes, rather philosophical. Will be rather sluggish until the MC gets her shit together. P.SS Notes: Story takes time to develop. And maybe uncomfortable. It's not gonna be action-packed or filled with battles, I think. Anyway, it is kinda unusual. P. SSS Notes: It is not LitRpg. Don't be fooled.

The Wandering Scholar
Zhou Mingzie, A young Chinese American is suddenly brought into a mythical land, similar to China in many ways, but is most definitely not. This new world appears to contain cultivation elements like the Wuxia and Xanxia stories he read throughout highschool, but he can also gain Levels and Skills, I mean Paths and Techniques. Sure he is Chinese, but he grew up in America, so he doesn't want to ascend to the heavens and fight spirit beasts, does he? But Mom wants him to embrace his heritage more...jk...unless? [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Inspired heavily by The Wandering Inn and Beware of the Chicken, as well as cultivation novels in general, this story hopes to take a Westernish approach to the standard Cultivation approach, being more subtle and changing how it approaches the standard tropes of the genre, without abandoning them entirely.
