Tankred looked at his left wing. He saw a lot of commotion and heard his men panicking. The left-wing was in full retreat.
"Fucking knights. Never should have trusted them," Tankred said and clenched his teeth.
Doreen then charged with her shield at him. Tankred stopped the attack with his spear that struck her really hard.
"Isn't it time for you to stop this futile struggling?" Tankred said with an overconfident smile.
The shield of Doreen started to glow. A carving of a medusa started to appear on the shield as Tankred looked confused. He then felt pain in the hand that held his spear. His hand started to turn to stone slowly and creeping further and further. Tankred started to move away from the glow, but then his leg turned into stone also. He fell to the ground with his hand and leg crumbling away.
"Isn't it time for you to stop this futile struggling?" Doreen said with a confident smile.
Tankred looked like he had seen the devil in front of him. He still believed he could still turn this around hoping his soldiers would come and rescue him and win the battle for him.
He then looked from the sky. He felt a huge divine aura and pressure forming up above him. A large tower of crystal formed in the air and floated in the sky. It was easily the same size as a small castle keep and weighed many tons. It fell on the right flank of the enemy crushing the Guiscard mercenaries under its weight.
Not too long later the right-wing of the Guiscards had also crumbled.

Haley was holding her hands in the air. After the tower of crystal fell Haley fell on her butt on the ground.
"Aaaaaah. I feel like my muscles are gonna rip apart," Haley said and breathed heavily.

"You sound like me when I realized how much divinity takes a toll on your body," Rufus said back.
"You told me, but never thought it would be like this."
Haley felt extremely happy and proud. She felt like she could finally fight with the others and show that she could pull her own.

Tankred looked behind him and saw all his soldiers fleeing from the field.
"Come back here you cowards! Fight you all! You are Guiscards! You are the sons of Rolf Guiscard!" Tankred yelled to all his mercenaries trying to get them to stay.
Doreen placed her spear at the throat of Tankred.
"Give up mercenary. You have lost."
Tankred knew he had lost and bowed his head fearing for his life.

Mona didn't start to flee like the rest. She instead smiled. She jumped away from fighting against Pema, Gwon and Amala. She got to Tankred and fought Doreen off and got her away from him.
"What are you just standing there? Get me away from here!" Tankred yelled at Mona who just stood there.
Mona turned her claws into sword-sized blades. She cut Tankred into pieces killing him right in front of everyone.
Doreen looked in shock as one of the enemies just coldly had killed one of their own. Amala, Pema, and Gwon also rushed in and saw Mona standing on top of the dead Tankred. They all were confused about what was happening. They still surrounded Mona not letting her escape.
A flash blinded everyone as small lightning struck the ground and blinded everyone for a second. It was August that landed next to Mona.
"August what are you doing here?!" Doreen asked looking confused and shocked.
August didn't say anything. He just grabbed onto Mona lifting her up and dashing out like a lightning bolt away from the battlefield.

"NO, NO, NO! Why are they running away? What is Tankred doing?" Helmut yelled on top of a hill overseeing the battle.
"It seems that your plan to make me into the figurehead of the kingdom has failed. I am extremely sorry for you that your plan to sell out your kingdom to your neighbors has been thwarted," Markus said indicating to Helmut he knew all this time his plans.
Helmut looked shocked and terrified.
"Oh don't look so surprised. You were never the wisest noble."
"It seems you forgot you your place, young prince. I recall you didn't have any divinity."
The grass started to grow around him. They entangled around the prince like octopuses' tentacles.
"So how about you learn your place before I break you like a twig," Helmut said and smiled sinisterly
Markus chuckled and scratched his thumb on his ring that had a small blade on it. Blood came out from it and it cut the grass that had tangled him. The blood then slashed Helmut like a guitars chord that snapped.
Helmut covered his face out of reflex. He then lowered his hands thinking the prince missed. Markus just smiled. He then looked at his hand that had a thin red line on it. His fingers fell off like a sausage that had been cut. He looked at Markus and realized he had died. His body fell into pieces onto the ground.
August came like a lightning to the scene. He was carrying Mona on his shoulder and then dropped her on the ground.
"We are ready to leave now," August said.
"Good. Mona, where is the ship you mentioned?"
"It is close to the citadel."

Reinventing the Struggle
The (sort of) original working title for this was "Reincarnated into a neo-feudal world of mecha knights, I will reinvent the panzerkampfwagen and mess up the social political order!" or something along those lines. And honestly that's a good enough synopsis given the nature of isekai titles. This story is unapologetic trash but at least it's the least cringe stuff I have written so far, so here it goes.

Settlement of Safehaven - A Hearthtree Series
"Welcome to the ECS Asgard, your ride through the stars to your new home-" Or so goes the sales spiel of this one of four and first-produced colonization ship, a spiel meant to placate the portions of humanity who would be selected for such a journey through the stars. The virtual world was meant to simulate a fantasy world of Viking or Roman lore. But not all with this virtual world was fine; nor were the humans who were selected for its maiden and only voyage.
