《Ascending》Exploration

I called out one Katydid first to check. I instructed it to look around and get some information.
As it jumped out of the cavern, I felt a piece of myself was blocked off. I knew what was going to happen. It felt unnatural, but I will push through it for the more significant outcome.
Time was very inconsistent; I had nothing to read besides the sun. I was relieved when the katydid returned. There was no harm as I washed its body with Qi.
I called up another katydid this time. I wanted it to do the same thing, but it should stay out for three minutes.
I felt a sense of loss in the connection between us. I wondered if I could see the outside with my creature’s eyes.
Although the connection between us was a small string, I pushed my vision through it like going through a tunnel, and I could still make it to its body. The view was taller because of my insect being more elevated than the core.
It appeared that we were on a cliff. That was why I was having issues attracting more giant creatures. In theory, if you have grass, water, and insects, I should produce an ecosystem.
I could see a significant body of water on my left side. The mountains and forest are to the front of my creature. Finally, there was a valley below. The cliff was to my right. The outer wall of the ridge had small handholds. The Demonic Monkey got to the dungeon through that route.
My Katydid went back inside to wait for orders. I pulled back my connection to it. I needed to think about what I will do next. My monkeys could use the same handholds to climb their way out of the cliff. If they want to bring creatures and materials back, they would need to carry the materials in the free up their hands.

An idea came to me. I had one of my Celestial Moths produce some silk. So next, I called Tiānwáng. I had to use him because he was the most intelligent creature I could communicate with.
I gave him a description of a silk sack, and I asked him if he could try to make one similar to it. It took three tries to get it. I absorbed it to make duplicates for all of my monkeys going out.
[Ding!] The Host has absorbed a poor-quality Silk Sack and can now use it as a blueprint.
I equipped the first group with enough sacks. Please be careful and return in only fifteen minutes. I gave the group a last bit of reminder.
Looking at my Celestial moths, I told them to put creatures to sleep with their skills if possible.
The leader of this group was a female Earth Guardian Monkey. I chose her because I wanted her to be on guard if something happened.
Wished this group excellent hunting as they walked through the entryway. I felt significant loss due to multiple creatures leaving, but I suppressed the feeling and turned to the large group that stayed.
I told them the rules for the training. In the first round, everyone will fight, going all out, but not killing. After that, I will heal as the fighting continues. I want everyone to get the feel of constantly trying the best possible. Then the next round will be in groups by species, as each will have a unique training program.
Begin!
As my creatures started to fight, I finished up this room “eating away” for more area was the most tenuous thing to do. Maybe I should make a digger creature so that it could dig out places where I could just absorb the rubble and then expand my area of influence.

I healed mostly my insect creatures far more than my monkeys. I hope that this will help them get used to their strength. Then, all of my creatures can learn how to work together.
I had a feeling that my bugs would have a higher chance of a slight evolutionary path. So the cycle continued; I healed and built rooms until I felt the lost connection snap back to me.
Turning my vision into the entranceway, I told my creatures fighting to stop. I did one final heal just as a precaution in case.
As the first exploring team came to a stop. I noticed that the group had all their silk bags full by scanning them. I was excited to find out what new things I would unlock.
I did notice that a silk bag was wiggling around. I had all my creatures gathered around to witness the treasures of the outside world.
I am not expecting too much of anything due to the positioning limitations where we were located. However, any new thing is accepted. The bag that was moving would be last; I wouldn’t want whatever was in it to run even though it probably won’t make it out alive.
They emptied the first bag onto the floor. I quickly absorbed everything and let the System give me the details.

The previous description of the MC being a bit of a ladies' lady has been scrapped, since the MC basically gave me an 'F you' and went and did her own thing.
