"Oh Kryse! You're just in time." Master Struk'tohr Nhin replied as he saw the young Masqueraider approach him.
"I completed the dungeon." Kryse replied.
"Really? That's good."
"You seemed to be busy. I can come back later."
"Oh, do stay. There's a special quest for you. You remember Joris Jurgen right?"
"Yes, didn't he find the whereabouts of a Dofus or something?"
"Yes. That's right. Joris here has found a new Dofus called Zircon that hosts the soul of the Sky Dragon - Ciel. This Dofus was accidentally sent to another dimension after an intense struggle with the demons. The dimension was...what was it called again?"
"The dimension is called Hakna - a world different from our own." Joris answered. He turned towards Kryse and continued, "I have almost assembled a complete team, one disciple of each of the classes, to venture to this new realm with me in search of the Dofus. All...except for one class...a Masqueraider."
"You don't mean to say...that you want me to join?"
"Are you willing?"
"Alright! You can count me in."
"That's great! Come! The others have already gathered. They are waiting at the portal in the Celestial Temple. Let's go!"
Kryse followed Joris to the Celestial Temple where he met a group of young adventurers like himself. Joris introduced them as Drac the Ecaflip, Cidem the Eniripsa, Niw the Iop, Worra the Cra, Draug the Feca, Egar the Sacrier, Ladnas the Sadida, Remat the Osamodas, Samak the Enutrof, Reggad the Sram, Esuap the Xelor, Reeb the Pandawa, Feiht the Rogue, Tobor the Foggernaut, Enur the Huppermage, and Latrop the Eliotrope. Together with Kryse the Masqueraider and Joris the Keeper of the Ivory and Ebony Dofus, the team was able to be considered as complete. After the introductions had been made, Joris urged them to immediately enter the portal as they were pressed on time.

One by one, each of the members of the newly created team entered the portal set to Hakna. The last to enter was Kryse. The young Masqueraider looked back at Incarnam one last time, reminiscing the times he had spent on the celestial archipelago and the valuable lessons and experiences he had gained. It was finally time for departure...to leave this starting point. With one last look, Kryse turned around and entered the portal.
Onwards to a new world...and a new story.

What is a soul ? Is it your true self ? Would you be the same if your soul kept traveling from life to life but your memories faded for each new life you had ? Your education would be different each time, your growing environment would be different, your personality might change. So what is the purpose of the soul ? Mortals never got an answer for this question. Finding an exact definition didn’t matter for them, what they knew was that a soul allowed reincarnation. Even if they lost some memories, getting glimpses of their past lives was more than enough. Getting the possibility of a new life, a better life was what they thrived for. This became an even greater truth as progenitors, the first of their cycle, became scarce. As hundreds of new progenitors were born each century, nowadays, no more than a handful of them appeared every 200 hundreds years. As they represent a new cycle, they embody new opportunities: some progenitors have made kingdoms, others have been their doom. So when four of them appeared at the same place, at the same time, how can it not be perceived as a sign ? A sign that things were about to change…

I would love it if you could leave a review, no matter how horrible, that could help me do better in my writing. The beginning chapters are a bit slow, but if you can get past that, there is a chance you'll love it. Happy Reading.
