《The Titanic Fanatic》Prologue: When Titans Ruled the World

**2 Million years ago**
Jallah grabbed on to the tree branch for dear life.
How could this be happening? He thought. He had never heard of anything of the sort happening to anyone before.
What was that wind powerful enough to send me flying off the cliff? Did Lelantos, the Titan of the Air and the Unseen, attack me? No, the Great Titans only protect us. Then how could this have happened? He mentally rambled.
Jallah was an unusually moral man. That’s not saying much, however, since everyone in the world was perfect in every way. After all, though none of them would know it, they lived in the Golden Age of Mankind.
Suddenly, he saw a blue flash in the sky, along with a loud bang. More than a little surprised, he let his hand loose its grip, ever so slightly, and fell. Heart pounding, he thought about what would happen. Then he realized that the Titans will definitely arrive to save him, so he should just calm down. As he was falling to his doom, he calmed down, closed his eyes, and wondered what would happen if the Titans didn’t come to save him.
Jallah was the first mortal in the world to die a violent death instead of a peaceful one. He didn’t deserve it, obviously, but then again, no one did. They were all perfect.
Unfortunately, someone had to be the first, and that someone just happened to be Jallah. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time. On a somewhat positive note, at least he was the first man to experience lightning-Zeus’ lightning as he sneakily struck down the Lord of the Titans to be exact.
The moment before Jallah met the beautiful river underneath the cliff, he saw the end of the world as he knew it, and he had a feeling that the world would never be as wonderful as it was to his generation and his ancestors before him. Before he died, he used his perfect intuition to realize the bitter truth.

I am the last pure human to die. Everyone will now live in an imperfect world, and that will cause them to become imperfect as well, Jallah foresaw. As he hit the water and his body was shredded into parts, he resigned himself to his fate and lamented the fate of the world as well.
And there was nothing that any mortal could do about it. After all, mortals just didn’t have enough power or intelligence to rival the higher beings. After Zeus took the lead, the world deteriorated exponentially, and the ages passed, getting worse and worser still.
20 million years later, after everything had went to shit, humanity started its upward rise again with the Renaissance up to the present time, and this, my friends, is where the real story starts.

Elder Cultivator
Anton is a great-grandfather. He is living quite a happy life, despite his advanced age and declining health… until a group of cultivator bandits moves into the area. The nearby guardians of the area, the Order of Ninety-Nine Stars, are unable to track them down as they continue to ravage nearby towns. During one desperate winter Anton is out on a hunt when his family- his entire village- is killed or taken as slaves by the bandits. He lacks the strength to fight them, and he wasn’t even present for their arrival to die with his loved ones. At the pit of his despair, he wonders if he ever had any chance to change things. What could he even do? He cannot even pull his best bow, and his eyesight is failing. If he had been a cultivator… perhaps there might have been a chance, but he was decades- perhaps even most of his life- too late. Notes on cultivation levels: There are five general stages of cultivation, though the fifth is extremely rare. Each cultivation style might have their own name for the stages. 1. Body Tempering 2. Spirit Building/ occasionally System Creation (Ninety-Nine Stars) 3. Constellation Formation (Ninety-Nine Stars) 4. Life Transformation/Galaxy Construction (Ninety-Nine Stars) 5. The Simulations
After ascending from his last life to become a Champion our hero has his memories locked. He is told that he must compete in competitive simulations against other Champions in order to earn enough to continue to simulate his consciousness. The competitive simulations have a variety of scenario genres, and may or may not have a game interface. The first competitive simulation our hero faces is from the Summoned Hero/Traveller to a New World genre, and is set as Fantasy Realistic - no game interface. He must ensure that the person he chose in the simulation's setup survives the end of the world in order to win. Author's note: I'm committing to one arc of four books. The arc has its own complete storyline. And each book has its own individual storyline as well. Each book also has 60 chapters, for a total commitment of 240 chapters. I'm aiming for a release schedule of a chapter every 23 hours.

High school life in a world where everyone has superpowers
So, um... how do I explain this simply? Okay, so... There's a girl, she's er... She's in high school, and, um... She has a superpower that mutes things? Also she lives? Yeah, sorry. The concept's too confusing isn't it? Warning: The stuff below is technically correct, but this fiction, with my other, is now on the failed pledge list. Shocking how a lack of updates for more than half a year actually meant something... Sorry for the delay, still not really up to writing for this series as of now (14/03/18 - remember I'm english, so correct) but I'm still trying to get into writing... Cover is thanks to Zenlith (WriTE's Founding Member). This fiction is signed under the 'The Pledge'... Some internet message in a forum about not dropping or giving a rushed ending in their fiction, otherwise meet the wrath of letting RRL mod Vocaloid have 'fun' with the fiction's description. So mainly for the sake of my fiction due to said wrath, I'll see this fiction through. Updates: up in the air... hopefully the day after this is edited, but we all have dreams. Warning for mild profanity, but it shouldn't happen too much for the innocent out there so don't take the warning to heart.

The Immortal
There was once a certain man who never died. When ancient trees withered, he flourished. When kingdoms, empires, and nations fell, he stood. When surrounded by immortals, he laughed. And when the world was gone, he remained. This is his tale. I take 0% credit for the title picture. I just pasted stuff together and did the best I could with a mac touchpad.
