The next morning, Ye Qin woke up on his bed in a new set of pajamas. Feeling a difference within his body, he closed his eyes and focused his mind into the Monster Sea.

The Monster Sea is located within the human mind, it's the place where humans can call for their monster from another plane. One could only see it if they were focused enough and free from any thoughts.

Within his mind, he saw 7 different colored lights.

"What the f*ck? I only have a single monster why are there 6 other lights?"

Upon focusing closely on the 7 colored lights, Ye Qin noticed that each light had a different symbol. At the top of the red light, a flame symbol could be seen along with a rose-colored Koi. The other lights revealed the following:

[Light Blue: Snowflake - Arctic colored Koi]

[Light Green: Leaf - Seafoam colored Koi]

[Yellow: Lightning - Banana colored Koi]

[Purple: Wind - Lavender colored Koi]

[Gold: Hourglass - Golden colored Koi]

[Silver: Space - Cloud colored Koi]

"Dafuq? Why did my Koi suddenly multiply? Could it be thanks to the meteor?" he thought.

It had to be known that throughout history, very few people had more than one monster in their lifetime. Each one of those with two or even three monsters became the leader of their era and lead humanity to greater heights. If others knew about Ye Qin's monsters they would be shocked to death!

"Hang on that aura.."

"??? All 7 of them have a trace of Dragon Aura around them!" he shouted within his Monster Sea.

The reason Ye Qin can sense a trace of Dragon Aura is that when he was a toddler, he had met a white-haired girl about the same age who was born with twin Dragon-type monsters. The two of them had met a couple of times and played together before the girl suddenly moved to an unknown place.

He could feel a trace of the same aura around each of the Koi he had. After looking at his 7 Koi fish he left his Monster Sea as he slowly opened his eyes.

"Young Master." the butler said as he bowed respectfully next to Ye Qin.

Ye Qin turned around and nodded before asking "How long was I out for?"

"You were out for a single night, would you like your breakfast now?" The Butler asked him.

"Alright." Ye Qin replied as he looked at the time before changing into his uniform, brushing his teeth and doing other miscellaneous things as the butler left his room.

After changing into his uniform which is almost completely white accompanied by blue and black stripes around some edges, Ye Qin went downstairs to the dining room to have his breakfast along with his family as per usual.

During the meal, his father asked, "Are you sure you are able to attend school today?". Ye Qin paused and nodded as he faced his father without saying anything. However, his mother was still extremely worried and asked "Are you sure we don't need to visit the hospital? You were in so much pain last night, I couldn't sleep at all."

"I'm ok." Ye Qin replied.

After breakfast, Ye Qin got into the family car along with his sister and headed to school. Ye Qin's little sister Ye Fei is 15 years old and as she is in middle school, they naturally went to different schools. In the car, Ye Qin sat quietly and looked outside the window and thought "I should keep the other Koi a secret, meaning I can only reveal my original golden Koi."

Suddenly from within his mind, an interface that looked as if it came out from a video game had appeared in front of him. Looking at the board and his golden Koi he noticed it displayed:

"! Wha? Did my life turn into a video game? That meteor is mysterious… It even gave me the ability to check a monsters' stats along with the ways to evolve them! Not only that, the sliver of Dragon Aura I sensed wasn't just my imagination, they really can become dragons!" Ye Qin thought excitedly as he remembered his childhood promise.

Ye Qin then looked at the silver-colored Koi and saw similar stats -

"Hmm getting 100 kg of the raw materials shouldn't pose a problem... But a monster core of every element will be troublesome... The biggest problem would be increasing their levels and turning them into Uncommon Grade monsters.." Ye Qin thought.

Every monster is born with a grade, most monsters will forever stay in the same grade throughout their entire lifetime. However, 400 years ago, it was discovered that a monsters' grade could be increased with the right materials or through battle. This brought about hope to humanity and changed the economy entirely as the rich families occupied most of the monster materials market leaving the poor families with almost nothing.

After pondering for a while, Ye Qin looked at the way to increase his monsters' grade.

[Common to Uncommon- 1. Bath in the blood of two or more monsters of the uncommon grade (Chance of success (50%). 2. Survive a mortal wound from a foe (Chance of success > 1%)]

The same conditions applied to each of his 7 monsters to increase their grade, however, for evolution they required similar materials but a larger quantity of monster cores of the same element. As he was still thinking to himself, the driver said "Young Master, we have arrived." which caught Ye Qin's attention.

"Thank you." Ye Qin said as he got out of the car and walked to class.
