After creating Royt I figured soon I would have to add inhabitants to Cerandle. Since I didn’t want to dive into it blind I would create a base of operations to host my experiments. I opened a portal to my own personal void space, this would only be accessed by me and a perfect place for creating a base of operations. I figured I would need strong walls to host my experiments if they got out of hand, so I created a large castle with stone walls modified as nearly unbreakable and a glass dome serving as a roof to look out towards the void with. Entering through the castle gates I set up a protective barrier with grass serving as land outside of the castle surrounding it so no one slips out into the void. Upon entering I saw a long ball way stretching back with stairs in my left, and archways serving as entrances to other areas of the castle. I created lit torches on the walls for light as well.

I created a spirit of the castle to serve as a protector and someone who can help me whenever I ask for it. This spirit didn’t have a body but instead is everywhere in the castle at once, it can appear and disappear wherever in the castle like wind upon command. I entered a room straight down in the hallway on the first floor, upon entering it was a large empty space with wooden floors and stone walls that could hold a basketball court in. I decided that this room, would be the start of my experiments in creating life forms.
