Now inside the Svail Hunter base, Siyo and Migro are confronted by Tohka, the master currently in charge of the base, and, Siyo's current guardian. Siyo gives Tohka a big hug expressing her happiness to see her. Migro sits behind Siyo trying not to make the situation awkward by standing to close.

"You havn't been home in days, I am so happy to see you Tohka!"

"I know, I'm sorry, but I had a lot to prepare for in terms of exams today"

"About that! This place is huge and more awesome than I ever could of imagined!"

"It really is a specticle, nothing compared to outside, so where to now master?"

"Please Migro, no need for formality, you may call me Tohka."

Tohka begins walking Siyo and Migro through the training room of the base. The group pass multiple rows of training dummies and boxes of wooden swords used for sword training.

"I hope you aren't as clumsy with that sword as you are with everything else Siyo. Afterall you havn't once let me see you train since your mother left"

"I have confidence in the skills my mother taught me, i'll show you today Tohka, promise!"

"Yeah, I'm not very big on all the sword stuff like you two, you got any other forms of training around here?"

"Well, we do have a training room for guns if your interested in that Migro"

"That'll work, I'm gonna head there then, you two have fun"

Migro leaves Siyo and Tohka alone as he leaves the sword training room. Siyo gets excited at the fact that the room they currently stand in is not the only training room in the entire building. Tohka and Siyo continue to walk through the sword practice range, suddenly, Siyo takes an interest in one of the training rooms.

"Hey Tohka, mind if I give this a shot? Perfect chance to show you what I can do! Don't you think!?"

"Haha! I guess it is, go ahead! Let's see what you got"

Siyo walks over to the box holding a mass amount of wooden swords and grabs one, handing over her sheathed sword to Tohka in the process. Siyo begins walking closer and closer to the dummy hung up before her and takes a stance with the sword. Siyo hears a voice in her head telling her to swing her sword with the full intent of protecting someone you love, she takes a deep breath and closes her eyes. She proceeds to take another deep breath and opens her eyes back up, rushing the dummy. Boosting off of her left leg, she jumps to the left and swiftly swings to the right and quickly stops her momentum after having struck the dummy.

"Wow, that was impressive. You caused a bigger tear than I thought you would"

"Did you doubt me! My mother taught me how to do this move, I treasure it"

"I didn't doubt you, I just wasn't expecting such an advanced looking technique coming from you!"

"You totally doubted me!"

After yelling at each other Tohka hands Siyo's sword back to her. Siyo puts the wooden sword back into the box and puts her sheathed sword back on her waist.

"So is that the only sword skill you know?"

"You kidding!? That is one of 3 specific stances I learned from my mom and grandmother!"

"Oh? Rose taught you some stances as well? I thought it was just jade?"

"I don't tell you everything you know."

"Well I would say your sword skills rank 3 out of 5 at best at this point in time"

"Only 3!? You sure, or are you just pulling my leg?"

"If you are so sure you are higher than a 3, then how about a one on one? Sound good?"

"You're on!"

Tohka grabs a wooden sword from the box and prepares a stance to fight Siyo with, stating that she might as well make this Siyo's entrance exam. Siyo grabs another wooden sword and takes a new stance that Tohka has yet to see her use.

"that is not the same stance you used before, one of the three I presume? Let's see it!"

Tohka smiles as Siyo immediatly rushes her with a quick upward lash after taking deep breaths. The attack misses Tohka as she dodges it and quickly counter attacks, but much to her surprise, Siyo blocks the attack. Quickly recovering from the attack, Siyo proceeds to swing to the right while jumping to the left, the same move she used in her presentation. Having seen the move used before, Tohka is easily able to avoid getting hit by the attack. Siyo goes for a quick jab to Tohka's stomach as she is open from her dodge. Tohka blocks the attack and strikes Siyo in her waist, she follows up with an upward slash to Siyo's chin which knocks her up and to the floor.

"My point has been proven! Sorry Siyo, you are without a doubt a 3."

"Damn I thought I could it do it! To ambitious?"

"You lack the knowledge of how to deal with a blocking opponent or how to block their counter attacks, however you did do well to block my attack at the start of the battle"

"I see"

"I have graded you as a B class Hunter, here are the keys to your dorm room"

"Wait huh?! I thought I failed"

"You didn't hear me say I would fail you did you? If you thought you failed I am surprised you weren't more upset haha! Anyways, you must be up by 7am sharp tomorrow morning so you can attend the briefing for new hunters"

"Woah! Awesome! Can I keep using the training room then?!"

"Yes. Now that you are a hunter, it is your duty to get stronger and do your best to protect the people of this city, never forget that Siyo."

Tohka takes her leave with a smile on her face thinking about how much of a good hunter Siyo will turn out to be and how similar she is in ways to her mother Jade. Siyo screams in excitment that she passed which catches everyone in the roooms attention, much to her embarresment.
