After breakfast

Lilica sat down on the chair at the dining table. She waited until Ven finished washing the dishes and settled down.

"So what did you need to talk to me about?" Lilica asked curiously.

"Well, it's about the baby." Ven said as he sat down slowly.

Lilica's face froze when she heard the word 'baby'. She was suddenly reminded of the fact that she was pregnant.

Seeing how silent she was, Ven decided to break the news to her.

"I called Tina yesterday and told her that the father was a high-ranked demon. I know you don't want to talk about this matter but its important. Tina told me that you have to return to the demon world to give birth. The higher the magical power of the baby, the more risk if you gave birth in the human world." Ven explained to Lilica.

Lilica was starting to get fed up with her baby. Not only did it make her feel guilty, she also had to go back to the demon realm which she had escaped from. She would have to confront her parents again and this time, they might really cut ties with her.

Ven continued, "You need to return no matter what. Don't even think of aborting the child. I don't want to lose either of you. Even if that guy doesn't accept you, you need to move on."

Lilica was silent which made Ven start to feel worried. It would have been better if she had express her anger, sadness or whatever emotion. It was better than her expressionless face.

"...Actually, I have another suggestion too." Ven said as he stared at Lilica hopefully.
