After Kazuya left the room, he didn't have anywhere to go so e just went into the empty room next door. This was the same room they just had their photo session done before dinner.

'At that time, we were still happily joking about and laughing, enjoying the time together but now… I wonder if she will finally be happy without me.' Kazuya thought as he leaned on the door and sighed, his tears flowing down.

"I'm sorry but this is probably better for us… I'll forever love you…" Kazuya whispered to himself sadly.

Thud!

Kazuya heard a sound from outside the door. However, he wasn't in the mood to deal with anything going on outside right now.

A few minutes passed by and he finally calmed his feelings down. Kazuya opened the door to go outside however, as he stepped out, a figure lying on the red carpet came into his view. He turned to look at what it was and immediately, his blood rushed to his head and he stared at the unmoving figure of the woman on the floor. Although he had resolved himself to never see her again, his resolve was broken quickly.

"Lilica!" Kazuya shouted worriedly and immediately rushed to her and held her up, his face pale as a ghost. He lifted her up with his strong arms and carried her hurriedly to his bedroom.

Lilica's face was so pale, and her expression distressed. Her tear-stained face made her complexion look even worse, making Kazuya even more panicked. Why was no one outside the corridor just now?! Just how much time have passed since she fainted? Don't tell me… that loud thud was the sound of her body collapsing?! She's also pregnant! Is our child still safe? Please… I beg you… Please be safe, the both of you!

Kazuya put her down on the bed as quickly and gently as possible and immediately called for the servants to bring a doctor over quickly. He also alerted his parents, thinking that his mother would probably know something to help prevent a possible miscarriage, since the queen, too, was once pregnant.

The next day

Since Lilica had fainted at night, her examinations went o until morning. Kazuya had ordered the doctor to do a full body check up on her with the latest technology available to make sure that she wasn't in any danger. Although the doctor had told him that she had just fainted from being emotionally distressed and wasn't in any danger, Kazuya still insisted on doing a full body check up on her because she was too precious for him. He was awake during all her examinations, making sure that she was really out of danger. After all the examinations results were out, Kazuya finally sighed a relief and sat down on a chair beside the bed Lilica was on. He slowly started to nod off from fatigue. They had gone through so many things today, it was a rollercoaster of emotions, so he was very tired.

After Lilica went through so many examinations, she finally gained consciousness again. Lilica opened her heavy eyelids with great effort and saw an unfamiliar cream-colored ceiling. She glanced around to find out where she was and saw a figure sitting on an antique chair on her left side. She turned her head sideways sluggishly to get a better view of the figure sitting beside her.

The man had dark circles under his eyes, indicating his lack of sleep. His usual cool and majestic aura gone, revealing a vulnerable side to him. Lilica smiled and thought to herself, 'Thank you for still caring about me…'

As if she was afraid, he would go away again, she reached for his strong muscular hand and grabbed hold of it, unwilling to let go.

Kazuya noticed that someone had touched him and immediately woke up. He opened his eyes so quickly as if he wasn't asleep just now. His magnetic cool eyes met with her seductive sexy eyes.

"You're awake! How do you feel right now? I'll go call the doctor!" Kazuya said worriedly as he stood up to call for the doctor.

However, Lilica clenched his hand tighter, as if saying 'don't go'. She looked straight into his eyes and plead, "Don't go! Don't leave me! I don't want to live in a world without you! Please… I love you… Don't leave me…" Tears started forming in the corner of her eyes quickly and dropped down her beautiful face.

Kazuya felt his heart torn again and sat back down to comfort the crying girl.

"Don't cry… I won't go anywhere anymore, okay? I don't want to see any more tears on your face!" Kazuya said as he kissed her eyelids gently in an attempt to stop her tears.
