"Kazuya… Can I ask you something?" Lilica said as they were driving to the palace.

"Hm? What is it?" Kazuya replied in a sweet tone.

"Is it true… that… you already know about the baby all along? Even before I told you about it?" Lilica asked the question that was bothering her until just now.

"No. I didn't know about it." Kazuya replied honestly.

"Really? Even though you have more magic power than me and you should be able to sense another magic source in me?" Lilica questioned.

"Well… This is pretty embarrassing. As a vampire, I should've realized it, but I didn't notice it until you told me about the baby. I thought that after we had sex you would always have a sudden increase in your magic power but then when I sucked your blood, the magic power would decrease a little, so I didn't think too much of it. I thought that you just gained more magic power by being with me…" Kazuya replied as he tried to hide his embarrassed face. He didn't want to tell her about it since it was a huge blow to his vampire pride, but since she had asked him about it, he had to answer her truthfully. He just couldn't lie to his wife.

"I see…" Lilica replied as she felt that his explanation was real. She also didn't feel the baby's magic power until she was told she was pregnant.

"By the way, I've never seen you suck my blood before. You always did it when I fainted or just erased my memory, right? I kinda want to know what it feels like…" Lilica said as she looked at him curiously.

"Are you sure? It will hurt a little." Kazuya asked, unsure if he should fulfil her wish.

"Yep! 1000% sure!" Lilica replied expectantly.

"Let's wait until we reach the palace. It's not appropriate to do it here." Kazuya replied as he adjusted their position to his favorite position and cuddled her. One of the reasons that this was his favorite position was because he could hide his blushing or smiling face from her and cuddle her at the same time.

"It's not appropriate?" Lilica asked curiously as she gazed up at him, while noticing his slightly red ears.

"Yep! So, let's wait until we reach home first. I don't want to show your alluring face to others." Kazuya replied as he placed his chin on her head softly, feeling her soft hair.

'Alluring face? What does that have to do with having my blood sucked?' Lilica pondered as she felt confused by his words. After a while, she remembered a rumor that having your blood sucked by vampires will make you feel so good and awaken your deepest desires. Lilica immediately blushed at the thought of it as she looked forward to going back 'home' with him.

At the palace

"You're back? Lilica! I heard from Rona that you guys have decided on the venue for your wedding already, right? Can I choose your wedding dress? It's always been a dream of mine to choose a wedding dress for my daughter. Sadly, I only had sons. I also chose for Lilienne, but I still feel it's not enough!" The queen said as she noticed the couple enter the palace.

"No! I'm the one who will choose her wedding dress." Kazuya replied resolutely, as he tugged Lilica hands behind him, in a stance to protect her.

"What's the harm in it? My tastes are pretty good, you know?" The queen retorted.

"Sigh… I've already heard from Lilienne how long you took to choose the dress for her. I want to marry Lilica as quickly as possible, not wait for you to choose her dress for over a year!" Kazuya said, still determined to not let his mother choose his wife's dress.

"It wasn't that long! It was only 11 months and 30 days." The queen replied matter-of-factly.

"No! I will choose her dress! I'm the one who will be taking it off anyway, so I should be the one to choose it." Kazuya replied back without an ounce of embarrassment.

Lilica, who was standing quietly behind him, immediately blushed when she heard his 'proud' speech.

The queen was shocked at her son's shamelessness, shaking her head silently.

The atmosphere became a little awkward to the two women, but to Kazuya, he thought that he was able to render his mother speechless. He felt triumphant and was about to walk away with Lilica when Lilica spoke up.

"Kazuya… I actually want to wear the dress mother chooses. I mean, don't you think it would be more exciting if you didn't know what dress I'm going to wear?" Lilica tried to persuade him.

"…but mother always takes a long time to choose dresses…" Kazuya retorted back quietly and pouted a little, feeling disappointed that Lilica would side with his mother.

"Hmm… If you let mother choose my dress, I'll wear the lingerie set you chose for me earlier this afternoon for my wedding night." Lilica tried to make him come to a compromise.

"Really?" Kazuya asked sweetly.

"Really. Deal?" Lilica replied back with a sweet smile.

"Deal. But I have some conditions." Kazuya said as he turned towards his mother.

"No revealing dresses, don't make her look too beautiful, since I don't want other guys looking at her." Kazuya demanded, feeling possessive. If possible, he wanted to have a private wedding, so he could hide her beautiful figure way from other guys, but at the same time, he also wanted to tell the whole world that Lilica was his.

"…But I want to look beautiful… It's only a once in a life time event… Every girl dream of being beautiful on their wedding day…" Lilica pouted softly, unsatisfied with his demand.

"Then no revealing clothes. This is the most I can give you." Kazuya said, not budging at all from his first demand.

"Okay!" Lilica replied as she thought, 'I want to look sexy in front of only you anyways.'
