Several days passed and the one-month period was almost up. Kazuya was slaved away from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. by Mr. Stell every day, without any signs that he would be accepted by Mr. Stell. Lilica and Kazuya had called each other every day and that just made them missed each other even more.

Meanwhile, Lilica was feeling bored of not going out for a month. She hadn’t gone out anywhere since Kazuya had warned her not to. On top of that, Sharon was busy on weekdays and she would only come back home on weekends, looking tired. Lilica didn’t want to intrude on her too so she didn’t suggest they go anywhere too.

Sharon was a teacher at the knight academy and was busy training the students everyday that she didn’t have time to return home except on weekends. On weekends, the two of them would have a girl’s party at home, enjoying girl talk. As Sharon was a female and young teacher, she had to work extra hard to gain recognition, so she didn’t really have any time to find romance. Although she was interested in a colleague, which turned out to be Zeke, she didn’t have time for this little crush of hers to come to fruition.

During the time Lilica and Kazuya were apart, Lilica’s body had some changes that became obvious. Lilica had noticed that since she didn’t really go outside, she didn’t really use the mirror and didn’t notice that her body shape had gradually changed. Although she did notice the small little bump on her stomach which made her heart warm every time, she hadn’t really taken notice of other changes.

Lilica walked passed the mirror and then, her figure caught her eye. Her face had gotten a little swollen, the same goes for her body. The change surprised her and made her worried.

‘Will Kazuya still love me with this swollen body of mine? I heard that after giving birth, women tend to gain more weight too. What should I do if he doesn’t like me anymore?’ Lilica frowned at her thought and patted the bump on her belly gently.

Ring! Ring!

Lilica’s phone rang, interrupting her negative thoughts. Lilica took out her hone and answered the call. It was Kazuya.

“Hello?” Lilica said.

“Wifey~ I miss you.” Kazuya’s gentle voice sounded from the phone.

“I miss you too~” Lilica replied cutely as she laid down on the bed.

“? Did something happen? You sound a little down.” Kazuya asked as he noticed the little change in her tone of voice.

“Hubby~ Be honest with me. Will you still love me even when I’m fat?” Lilica asked, feeling dejected.

“Of course, I will. My wife is always pretty in my eyes.” Kazuya reassured her gently.

“Really?” Lilica asked insecurely.

“Really. Even if you get so fat that you can’t walk anymore, I’ll still love you and stay with you.” Kazuya replied sweetly.

“I won’t get that fat!” Lilica retorted back.

Kazuya let out a light chuckle and boldly asked, “What about you? Even if I don’t look as handsome as now will you still love me?

“You call yourself handsome?” Lilica teased.

“Am I not?” Kazuya teased back.

“Of course, you are! You’re my prince charming.” Lilica replied sweetly, missing his charming smile.

“By the way, why the sudden question?” Kazuya asked, feeling a little confused as to how this question came about.

“Well, today I walked by the mirror and realized I’ve gotten swollen. After giving birth, I’m probably going to gain weight too. By the way, I’ve noticed that there’s a small bump on my stomach now! How exciting~” Lilica explained as she caressed her lower abdomen gently.

“!” Kazuya was pleasantly surprised when he heard mention their child. He felt indescribably happy at the thought of his future child.

“Hey, I wonder what gender our child will be?” Lilica asked, feeling warm and happy at the thought of their child being born.

“Hm… I want a daughter/son.” Kazuya and Lilica said at the same time.

“But I want a son who looks exactly like you. I need to more princes in my life!” Lilica exclaimed, imagining what would happen if her child looked exactly like Kazuya’s young self she had seen in the albums.

“A son’s nice but I want a daughter that looks like you too. She’ll be my cute little princess. I want to spoil her rotten.” Kazuya argued back, as he thought of a cute little Lilica hugging him and calling him ‘Papa’.

“Actually, a son/daughter might be better.” The two of them synchronized once again.

“If we have a daughter then I would probably don’t want her to marry off. A son’s better since he can protect you with me.” Kazuya said as he changed his mind.

“A daughter is pretty good too. I can dress her up anytime want. It will be so much fun.” Lilica replied back, wanting to buy children clothes now.

“Pfft!” The both of them let out a chuckle that their thoughts reversed. It seemed no matter what the child’s gender will be, it will receive a lot of love.
