The four of them walked to the parking lot to board their cars. However, on the way there, there were so many people that it was hard to walk pass. Suddenly, Lilica was pulled away by Ven. Almost at the same time, a sharp object came flying to the spot she was standing on previously. It was a knife!

The knife dropped to the floor with a clang at the same time Lilica finally realized what was going on. Her face became pale from fear and she started sweating cold sweat. This time, she was almost injured for real if it weren’t for Ven!

After he saw the knife didn’t hit Lilica, he quickly turned toward the direction where the knife came from. However, when he turned to look, he didn’t see any suspicious figures…

Lilica became so scared her legs nearly gave out. Ven held her close to him and quickly helped her walk through the crowd. Soon, they were out of the crowd and regrouped. The other two women had no idea of the frightening incident that had just happened.

Ven quickly explained what had happened as he walked towards Sharon’s car so that Lilica can rest. The two women shuddered at the thought of it. Was someone aiming for Lilica’s life because she was pregnant with a prince’s child? How did news travel that fast? Everyone just knew that she was engaged to Kazuya. Not that she was pregnant. Does this mean that someone close to them was a spy?

The four of them quickly boarded Sharon’s car as Sharon sped back home as quickly as possible. The longer they were outside, the more dangerous. At least at her apartment, the security was better.

After a few minutes, they arrived at Sharon’s luxury apartment. The four of them quickly went up to her room. Sharon quickly searched for Kazuya’s number on her phone. The situation was more serious than they had thought.

“…Hello?” Kazuya’s voice sounded from the other side of the phone after a while.

“Kazuya? This is pretty bad. Can you come to my apartment? Lilica’s…” Sharon quickly said, her voice a little shaky. She still hadn’t finished her sentence yet but was interrupted by Kazuya.

“What happened?!” Kazuya shouted, feeling alarmed.

“She…” Sharon said as she looked at Lilica who was pale as sheet. Lilica was still in a state of shock and couldn’t calm her emotions. After all, her life was targeted two times. There was no way she could stay calm! Sharon continued, “Well, today, she was attacked by someone twice. It shocked her pretty badly. She’s till pale.”

“I’ll go there at once.” Kazuya hurriedly said as he hung up.

Even though Ventina was a doctor, her major wasn’t psychology. In fact, psychology was her worst subject back in her university days. Ventina couldn’t help Lilica out of her shock. The three of them tried their best to calm her down but to no avail. The only option was to wait for Kazuya to come here and calm her down. They didn’t want to risk travelling to a hospital to check up on her. Bringing doctors here were also an option but it would take too much time.

Luckily, Lilica’s house wasn’t that far from Sharon’s apartment so it should take a few minutes for Kazuya to travel here.

At Lilica’s house

“Mom, I’m sorry but I need to go.” Kazuya said to Mrs. Stell hurriedly.

“What happened?” Mrs. Stell asked when she saw how panicked he was. So, the cool second prince could panic…

“What? Something happened to one of your mistresses?” Mr. Stell retorted sarcastically.

“Mr. Stell. I’m sorry but I’m in hurry.” Kazuya didn’t have the time to listen to Mr. Stell’s nonsense.

“In a hurry to meet your mistress?” Mr. Stell retorted.

“Mr. Stell! I am willing to listen to you on other days, but I need to go now. Lilica’s in danger!” Kazuya shouted back at him, his patience running out.

“So, the mistress’s name is Lilica? Hah!” Mr. Stell retorted back as usual then he realized; Lilica was his daughter’s name.

“Wait… What happened to Lily?!” Mr. Stell asked hurriedly, feeling alarmed. Wasn’t she living at one of her friend’s house? How did she get in danger?

“I also don’t know the details. I’m sorry but I need to go now!” Kazuya said as he quickly ran out of the house.

“Wait! I’m going with you!” Mr. Stell shouted behind Kazuya as he ran to catch up with Kazuya. Mrs. Stell, who was still in a shock, also quickly ran behind them. She wanted to check up on her daughter too.
