“What? Jealous that you aren’t the flower type?” Ven teased her so that she could stop sulking.

However, his words were like a provocation to her. She was now angry instead of sulky. She knew that his type of girls was the flower type, which she could never become. So, she chose to ignore his words so that she wouldn’t have to feel hurt any more than now.

Ven saw that he was now ignored and felt helpless. The female mind is so hard to understand! He then searched through his bag for something.

“Take this and forgive me. I was wrong to make you angry.” Ven apologized even though he didn’t know what he did wrong. He then handed her a box. Inside was a diamond bracelet that Ventina had wanted before they went to the ice-cream shop.

“! When did you buy this?” Ventina asked, feeling surprised. She had just said that it was cute on a whim. She had held herself back from buying things from that shop since they were quite expensive.

“When I went to buy the ice-cream. You seemed like you wanted it so much, so I bought it for you.” Ven replied, feeling relieved that her anger had subsided.

“Thank you!” Ventina said as she gave him a little kiss on the cheek. She had decided then, that if his type was the flower type, then she would try her best to change his tastes. She decided to attack him at every opportunity she gets now. If it didn’t work even after this, it was probably time for her one-sided love to come to an end.

“!” Ven was surprised that he was suddenly kissed.

“I know it was expensive, so I need to give you a little ‘reward’. Thank you! I love you!” Ventina said in a joking tone, even though she meant every word she said.

The next day

The two of them hugged each other for so long, only to be interrupted by Lilica’s growling stomach.
