The wedding party went on for several hours before it came to an end. Lilica and Kazuya had to part way once more to prepare themselves for the wedding.

Lilica was led to the bathroom once again to bathe in the milky bath that was filled with herbs beneficial to pregnancy. As she soaked herself in the bath, Lilica felt relaxed after standing around for so long. A wedding was the most tiring for the bride and groom indeed.

After a while, Lilica realized that all of the maids were gone. In reality, they had to wait for her to finish bathing, dress her up and send her to Kazuya’s bedroom before going back to their normal work. This made Lilica confused, but she just thought that they were waiting for her outside the bathroom.

Knock. Knock.

A series of knocks came from the door. Lilica was about to say ‘come in’ but was interrupted by the person behind the door.

“Lilica, I’ve told all the maids to go back to their original work for a while. There were some spies from the enemy in the group of maids that were supposed to help you dress up.” The voice sounded.

Lilica felt alarmed that there was a spy amongst the maids. However, who was this person that was so kind as to inform her about it? The voice belonged to a female and somehow, the voice was strangely familiar but at the same time, unfamiliar.

“This is the most I can do for you two. I’m really sorry for that time. I… I wasn’t thinking straight at that time.” The voice said in an apologetic voice.

From her speech, Lilica was thinking of what incident this woman was talking about. After thinking for a few second, she finally realized; was this woman Lacey? But wasn’t she dead? Kazuya said that her body was chopped up beyond recognition.

Could it be possible that the person who was chopped up was actually someone else?! Then does that mean Lacey survived? Then who was that in the dungeon cell?

“Are you Lacey?” Lilica asked, feeling a little scared of hearing the answer.

“…” there was no answer.

“I hope you and Kazuya will always be happy together.” The voice said before silence engulfed the bathroom. It seemed like the person had already disappeared from the door.

Lilica felt like she was no longer in the mood for bathing, so she got up and exited the bathroom before calling the maids to help her dress up. She couldn’t dress herself for the wedding night too, as part of the tradition.

She noticed that some of the maids were replaced, probably the ones that were replaced were the spies. How did that woman just now know who the spies were?

Lilica let the maids dress her. They gave her the same underwear she wore during the wedding, but it seems like this was a new one. It seemed like Kazuya had bought two sets of the same one. After a few minutes, she was dressed in a night gown on top of her lingerie. She was then led to Kazuya’s bedroom. The head maid opened the door for her, revealing Kazuya’s newly furnished room.

The room had a romantic atmosphere, with roses forming a heart on the bed. The room was scented with some aromas that made one feel romantic.

“The Second Prince will be here in a moment, Second Princess.” The head maid continued.

Lilica slowly and nervously entered the room as the door behind her was shut. Lilica didn’t know where she should sit so, she decided to just walk around the room to see what they had added to the room.

The room was just decorated to look romantic so there wasn’t a lot of things to look at. Soon, Lilica had already finished exploring the room and was free. There were still no signs that Kazuya was coming soon she just sat on the soft bed, waiting for him eagerly and nervously.

Lilica looked at the bed nervously. Although they had done it countless times already, each time was so exciting. Lilica blushed at just the thought of doing it with Kazuya. They hadn’t touched each other’s body for this whole month since they were too busy. They just slept on the same bed and cuddled. It had been so long that Lilica kind of missed his intimate touch.

Just as she was blushing by herself, the door was opened by the head butler. Kazuya then entered the room in his sleeping robe. The butler closed the door when Kazuya had already entered, leaving the two of them alone in the room.

Kazuya saw Lilica blushing slightly and knew what she was thinking about just from her expression. He smiled charmingly as he walked towards her, his heart pounding slightly. This was going to be the first night they spent as husband and wife.
