“Pfft!” Ventina let out a chuckle when she heard his troubled whispers. It was funny how he hesitated so much on how to propose to her.

“Huh? You were awake?!” Ven let out a surprised gasp as he looked at her with wide eyes. This was so embarrassing! He was planning on proposing to her with some cool words so that she would feel impressed but she was actually awake all along!

“Hahaha… Yeah…” Ventina couldn’t stop laughing. He was too cute!

“Hey! Don’t laugh! Since when were you awake?” Ven asked as his ears started turning red from embarrassment.

“Pfft! Since you asked me if you were awake.” Ventina tried to hold back her laughter.

Ven’s faced flushed red the moment he heard her. She was awake since the start! This is too embarrassing!

“I told you to stop laughing!” Ven covered her mouth. His pride was already shattered by her the moment she started laughing at him! This woman didn’t even try to control her laughter.

“Pfft! Alright, alright I’ll stop laughing. My little Ven is so cute~” Ventina continued teasing him as she ruffled his head playfully.

“Don’t treat me like a kid. Anyways what’s your reply?” Ven asked seriously as he took her hand off his head.

“Reply? Reply to what?” Ventina asked, feeling confused. Which question was he referring to?

“You heard me mumbling, right? So what’s your reply to my proposal? Will you marry me?” Ven asked in a serious tone as he stared into her flirtatious pair of eyes.

“Hmm… What should I do~” Ventina still continued to tease him. He was just so fun to tease!

“Tina! I’m being serious here!” Ven looked at her sincerely.

“You should know my answer by now already, right? Of course I’ll marry you! Who else would I marry if it weren’t you?” Ventina replied with a loving smile as she dived in to hug him tightly.

Ven hugged her back tightly before he pulled her in for a deep kiss. After a few minutes, he finally let go of her as he whispered, “I love you.”

“I love you too…” Ventina replied as her eyes became slightly watery. She was so moved at the thought of her dream coming true. She had wished to marry her prince charming ever since she was a child and now, her childhood dream was about to come true.

The couple then shared another kiss. The atmosphere in the room started heating up as Ven pushed her gently onto the bed, his fingers caressing her sensitive parts.

After a while, the couple were done with their intense activity and laid down quietly as they cuddled each other.

“Tina, do you want to have children?” Ven asked out of nowhere.

“Hmm… Probably not yet. You know that I don’t like children. Having one seems like a pain.” Ventina replied honestly. Although her ultimate goal in life was to have a happy family, she wasn’t read to have a child just yet. She wanted to spend more time with Ven first before having children. It was so hard to be in a relationship with him. It would be a waste if she had children quickly and couldn’t spend some alone time with him.

“...Okay.” Ven replied, feeling a little disappointed. He wanted to have children with Ventina since he also wanted to start a family with her, just like Lilica and Kazuya. However, he was going to wait until Ventina was ready since he respected her. He knew that being pregnant came with several troubles and most of the time, it would be the mother that has to suffer.

Ventina knew that Ven wanted children but she wasn’t ready yet so she couldn’t say anything to comfort him. Silence engulfed the room for a while before Ven spoke up, “Let’s head downstairs to find something to eat. I’m sure you’re hungry.”

“What if I say that I’m already full from eating you?” Ventina asked him playfully before she continued, “But I want to try the food made by your chef. He really amazed me! He had never cooked the same two dishes ever since I’ve started living here!”

Ven felt a jealous that Ventina was speaking so fondly of the chef that he unconsciously tightened his arms around her body.

“Hey! You’re squeezing me! Are you jealous?” Ventina protested.

“Sorry. But yeah, your future hubby is jealous so don’t talk about other guys so admirably in front of him, or you’ll suffer some punishment.” Ven replied in a childish tone as he bit her shoulders lightly.

“Is hubby’s punishment sweet?” Ventina chuckled and asked playfully.

“It may be sweet or painful depending on the scale of jealousy.” Ven replied.

“The how jealous is hubby right now?” Ventina played along.

“On the scale of zero to ten, it’s about seven right now.” Ven replied as he started fondling Ventina’s breasts.

“Hmm… then is it sweet?” Ventina asked sweetly.

“It is a sweet punishment right now but if you ever hit nine, it will be painful.” Ven replied as he bit her ears seductively.

“Then I’ll gladly take the sweet one.” Ventina replied with a sly smile as she circled her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss.
