《World Integration》Chapter 20: Flame Palm Martial Art Technique

On the second floor of the house, withinside Albert Lee's father's room, located just right above the living room where Albert Lee is currently are.
Albert Lee's father whose name is Trung Lee, currently standing at the centre of the room, in a weird pose with his right hand pointed straight outwards at the wall.
'What is wrong?' Trung Lee thought, showcasing a frustrated look, as he then furrows his brows and seemingly thinking about something. He contemplated, 'I have completed the necessary steps and the correct form in order to performed the Flame Palm martial arts techniques.'
There was some residue heat off of Trung Lee's right hand when he previously first performed the Flame Palm Martial Art Technique. The heat gradually dissipates, as the temperature within the surroundings then returns back to normal.
However, not so far away, in the same direction as Trung Lee is currently facing. There is a deep scorch mark, resembling the shape of a human hand, on the concrete wall.
The wall has caved in slightly surrounding the scorched hand mark, as a enormous force was likely pressed against the wall enough to cause the concrete wall to caved in slightly. With the white paint on the concrete wall completely burned black, and still leaving some residues of charcoal within its place.
However, there are still some small wisps of flames, detached from the Flame Palm Martial Art Technique that Trung Lee had used previously.
'So what did I do wrong?' Trung Lee asked himself a question, trying to find some kind of solution towards his problem.
So he repeated the same process once again, as he got into the correct stance, and spiritual energy began to rapidly circulate throughout his entire body in a steady cycle.
And somewhere within the three qi burners withinside his human body, the spiritual qi is then rapidly converted into yang qi, and then being steadily transformed into neccessary fire attributed spiritual qi.
The fire attributed spiritual qi then travelled down Trung Lee's right arm and into his right hand. In which he then held his right hand close to his own chest, and then perform some slight hand signals with his fingers to guide the fire attributed spiritual qi in order to transform the spiritual qi and manifest it outwards as the Flame Palm Martial Art Technique.
The transformation of the fire attributed spiritual qi and maninfesting it outwards outside his body was a complete success, as his right hand then burst into flames, burning brightly in conjured fire.
'So here goes... Flame Palm Martial Art Technique!' Trung Lee thought to himself, as he then immediately launches the Flame Palm Martial Art Technique.
Trung Lee then slams his palm forward towards the direction of the wall. The conjured flames that was made out of fire attributed spiritual qi then immediately left his hand, sucking a few amounts of fire attributed spiritual qi as well.

The conjured flames then retains the shape of a human hand, as it sucks in some of Trung Lee fire attributed spiritual qi. The conjured flames then gradually grew in size, and some of the fire were completely compressed, thereby giving the flame shape hand a more corporeal solid form instead of a fire that just coincidentally resembles the shape of a hand.
The Flame Palm Martial Art Technique was able to fly for a couple of seconds, heading straight for the concrete wall where Trung Lee originally aimed the Flame Palm Martial Art Technique at.
However, when the Flame Palm Martial Art Technique was near inches away from the concrete wall. The Flame Palm Martial Art Technique then suddenly lost its own solid corporeal form, and becomes an enlargen fire in the shape that slightly resembles a human palm.
The Flame Palm Martial Art Technique then struck the surface of the concrete wall, before bursting outwards in a small explosion and a sea of flames.
The force of the Flame Palm Martial Art Technique was able to push the concrete back a couple of inches further, whilst scorching the area completely black and leaving residues of charcoal like the first one did.
Ding!
The sounds of the system notification, as a blue screen panel then appears in front of him, showcasing his process on mastering the Flame Palm Martial Art Technique.
(!) System Notification Skill proficiency has reached a designated degree! The skill {Initial Stage Flame Palm Martial Art Technique Lv.1} has levelled up and become {Initial Stage Flame Palm Martial Art Technique Lv.2}!
'At least, the Flame Palm Martial Art Technique manages to last a bit longer before collapsing in the end.' Trung Lee thought.
He then assumes, 'Could it possibly be that there was not enough fire attributed spiritual qi that was injected into the Flame Palm Martial Art Technique when it was still within its final phase.'
Trung Lee's assumption was partially correct, as the fire attributed spiritual qi would help stabilised the corporeal solid form of the Flame Palm Martial Art Technique, but the purity of the fire attributed spiritual qi was not good enough to make the duration of the solid corporeal form of the Flame Palm Martial Art Technique last long.
In addition, his control over his spiritual energy was not good, brung about by his rapid increase in cultivation over a short period of time. So it makes his strong spiritual energy a bit more difficult to control as a result.
For martial arts techniques and cultivation techniques, they are then divided into five separate grades, with four sub levels in each grade; Mortal Grade, Earth Grade, Heavenly grade, Celestial Grade, Divine Grade.
For most part, common types of martial arts and cultivation technique would definitely fallen under the Mortal Grade category, starting at either the Initial, Middle, or Peak stage of the skill.

As the user practice the martial arts and cultivation technique, their knowledge and experience that is accumulated over the years will help foster and potentially evolved the martial arts technique, thereby allowing for it to be upgraded to the next level.
"Dad, are you alright! Are you okay?" The sound of Albert Lee's voice was heard downstairs, as he shouted at the top of his lungs, before running upstairs in a hurry to check on what was going behind the scenes, and what caused the loud explosion sound a couple of seconds ago.
Upon reaching his father's room on the second floor of the house, Albert Lee then immediately spotted that his father was perfectly fine. Whilst, standing idlely at the centre of the bedroom, without a care in the world.
Trung Lee then turns his body around, facing the direction of his son, as he suddenly rushed into his bedroom with a panic look plastered upon his face.
With a concerned look upon his face, he then asked his father once again. "Are you okay?"
Trung Lee then lightly smiles, as he then shrugs the matter off as nothing of worth to be concerned about. He said, "As you can see, son. I am perfectly fine. So there's nothing really to worry about."
"Huh?" Albert Lee uttered.
Words could not simply described what he is feeling right now. Confused about what caused the loud explosion. Surprised that his father then nonchalantly shrugs the whole matter off as nothing worth concerning about. And suspicion that his father may tried to hide something from him.
Albert Lee's eyes then quickly scan through the entire room, and within seconds, he manages to reach the most logical conclusion and deduction based upon his recent findings.
'There's a scorch mark left on the left side of the wall to father's room that resembles the shape of a human hand. And there's a strange odd book left on the near edge of the bed, with its page wide open.' Albert Lee monologues his recent findings and mere observation in clear detail.
The strange odd books seems to resemble a traditional xuan paper book that was used commonly in ancient China, completely different to the bamboo wooden slip scrolls that was used before the existence of paper was introduced.
Xuan paper book is often depicted as the most common form of way of keeping a record of martial arts and cultivation techniques in most Xianxia/Wuxia novels, apart from jade tokens and bamboo wooden slips.
And in the two pages of the opened xuan paper book, it showed the diagram of a person performing the Flame Palm Martial Art Technique.
At the same time, on the other opened page of the xuan paper book. It showed the drawn diagram of a human person, with the qi passage completely labelled, and the direction of which the spiritual qi flow in order to correctly perform the Flame Palm Martial Art Technique.
By putting one thing after another together, all of the puzzle pieces then came together perfectly to form a big picture.
'Father couldn't possibly have tried to perform the martial arts technique inside of the house, within his own bedroom can he?' Albert Lee thought so to himself, questioning on what is going inside his father's head.
And a thought then made its way into his head, 'But, what if it suddenly lost control and started a fire inside of the house.'
He then truthfully asked his father for a honest answer. "Dad, did you just try and perform some kind of martial art that is related to fire?"
Trung Lee's smile then dissappears, immediately replaced with a slightly surprised look, almost as if he was saying how does he know.
Albert Lee's father's knowledge about the Xianxia cultivation genre correlates with all the Xianxia live action series that he has watched over the years. Whilst, Albert Lee's knowledge about the xianxia genre comes directly from the translated novels and manhua that he read.
The live action xianxia series pales in comparison to the novels and the manhua, as more details and description about cultivation and its powers could be conveyed in words than cheap simple 3d CGI animation.
"Was it that obvious?" Trung Lee asked his son, whilst slightly surprised about his son's accurate deduction upon what happened.
And Albert Lee just simply shrugs his shoulders and said, "Why don't you try and read books once in your life instead of just simply watching western Hollywood movies and playing mobile games most of the time."
Albert Lee's father enjoy watching old Hollywood action movies. At the same time, he quite often plays poker and the gambling slot machines on his mobile phone.
'I wonder if Darren is like that as well. And how much time has changed...' Trung Lee thought so to himself, as he started reminiscent of the past.
And Darren Lee is Albert Lee's younger brother from the same parents, a year or two younger than him, but he has chosen to live with his mother instead of with his father and him.
