[Just After Walter’s Death]
Dean stood in front of Walter’s dead body with a sinister smile on his face. Nancy looked at Dean with mixed emotions of disgust and fear. Dean’s smile soon turned into a frown, like he was angry.
“I wasn’t finished yet you know,” Dean said as he walked over to Walter’s dead body and ripped him off the chair. He then proceeded to repeatedly stomp on Walter’s corpse. “I wanted to have more fun you prick but nooo, you had to go and die on me.” Dean stomped harder and harder, blood began to drench the walls in a dark-red. Blood was soaking Dean’s clothes as he continued to stomp on the corpse. Dean kept eviscerating the corpse and guts came flying out of the body, covering the ground.
Eventually, Dean stopped his rampage. He smiled once again and walked over to Nancy. “I have a nice idea~” Dean said as he grabbed Nancy’s face. Dean let go of her face, leaving bloody handprints on her face, and walked out of the shed. Nancy looked back at Walter’s corpse and immediately had the urge to vomit. His guts were spread out like a sinister art piece. Nancy rushed out of the shed and began to vomit. Nancy had seen this scene before, it was still in the trial. Dean ripped apart the bodies of animals due to his excess anger toward the minotaur. Nancy assumed that Dean was doing this because of his anger towards his targets. She thought he was a necessary evil.

Dean walked into the house, blood soaking his clothes, and went straight upstairs. Red saw Dean out of the corner of her eye and followed him. “Dean, what happened?” She stopped in her tracks when she saw the amount of blood covering Dean.
“I killed one of them,” Dean said calmly.
“One of who?” Red questioned.
“One of the kids that we were told to kill.”
“Already?”

“Yeah, I tortured him to death and curb-stomped his body into pieces.”
“You what?” Red said in disbelief. Dean started to walk away, but Red grabbed his hand and stopped him. “Why would you do something like that?” she asked.
“People like him don’t deserve to die a peaceful death.”
“It doesn’t mean you should torture him, it’s unethical.”
“I don’t care,” Dean said, “He deserved it, and I’m gonna do the same to the rest of them.”
*SMACK*
Red slapped Dean across the face, the still-wet blood spraying the floor. “Stop it, you don’t need to do that. All we were told to do was kill them, not torture them... I’m gonna go home now.” Red stomped her way down the stairs and slammed the front door behind her, signifying her anger. Dean stood at the top of the stairs. He didn’t know what to feel after that. He had only just met Red, but for some reason, after the fight with the wolves, he felt a deep connection to her. It wasn’t love or anything, it was a feeling Dean couldn’t describe, almost as if he knew her for all of his life... Dean walked into the restroom and decided to take a shower.
-----
[The Next Morning]
Dean had decided to hang Walter’s body up in a display. It wasn’t due to his sadistic attitude or anything; it was because he wanted to send a message, fear tactics if you will. Dean was in the middle of the crowd, watching everyone shocked to see the dead body.
Dean looked around the crowd and saw two people. The first person he saw was Nick. He was staring at the body, hiding his happiness. Dean saw in Nick’s eyes what a daughter would see when her father came back from the military, an overwhelming relief. On the other side of the crowd, Dean saw Red. She had an angry look on her face, nothing Dean hadn’t seen before. The only different thing was her arm. In place of her lost arm was an arm that looked slightly robotic. A bright-red aura was shrouding her body filled with emotions such as anger and hatred. All Dean did was smile at her. He turned around and walked back to his house.

Dean made it back to his house with great news. It seemed that the Constal House was now in disorder due to them finding Walter dead. Dean walked into his kitchen and decided to make himself some breakfast. He was sitting at his table when he heard knocking at his door. Confused, Dean stood up from the table and opened the door. To his surprise, Red was at the door. Instead of greeting him, Red punched Dean straight in the gut, sending him flying through his house. ‘What the hell?’ Dean thought, “She’s so strong.” Dean had a hard time trying to stand up. As soon as he got to his knees, Red kicked him straight across the face. Dean formed a handgun with his gloves and tried to shoot Red. Red noticed this and kicked the gun out of Dean’s hand, breaking his fingers.
“Wow Red,” Dean said, “You’re pretty strong.” Instead of responding, Red punted Dean into the shed. Dean was on his hands and knees, coughing up blood.
“Ahhh, you goddamn whore,” Dean said. He stood up and ran towards Red. Dean threw a punch at her, but he missed terribly. The punch whizzed past Red allowing her to grab Dean’s arm and dislocate it. With her free hand, Red punched Dean in the face. Dean stumbled a few steps back and put his arm back in its socket.
Dean ran towards Red again, but instead of throwing a punch, Dean spit in her face, temporarily blinding her. Dean punched Red in the gut, but she stood her ground. Red wiped the bloody spit off her face and kicked Dean in the shin. Dean collapsed to the floor, and Red promptly kicked him in the face. Dean was now sprawled out on the floor, on the verge of going unconscious.
“I thought you were a good guy when you saved me,” Red said, “But it turns out you are the scum of the earth.” Dean tried to get up again, but Red kicked him in the face again, making Dean go unconscious.
-----
When Dean opened his eyes again, he was standing in a white room with a familiar girl standing in front of him.
“Long time no see,” Dean said. Instead of saying anything, Lucifer slapped Dean across the face.
“What is your problem?” Lucifer said. Dean could see a flood of tears falling off her face. “You were chosen, but you act like a homicidal maniac? You disgust me.”
“Aren’t you the devil?”
“DON’T CALL ME THAT!!!” A black aura was now surrounding Lucifer, “You don’t know anything, you will never know anything. I’m not some monstrous creature full of evil. You wanna know evil, why don’t you look a little higher.”
Dean looked up and saw a hole in the ceiling of the room. In the hole was a flood of bright while things, crawling sound like insects. They had blood-red dots for eyes and mouths with rows upon rows of teeth.
“What are those things?” Dean asked.
“They are what you call angels. Not what you expected huh?” Dean was astonished. He had always thought they were beautiful creatures, but now, he was having second thoughts.
“You think good people belong up there now?” Lucifer asked. Dean looked away from the creatures and clenched his fists. ‘How could I be so selfish?!?’
“Now I know you’re supposed to be Pride,” Lucifer said, “But there is always another side to the coin.”
Dean looked up, “And what would that be?”
“Virtue.”

Fall of a Civilization - Modern Apocalypse
Today was an ordinary day. The same day as every day. The start of a monotonous day for some while being an exciting one for others. Today was supposed to be the latter for me. My first day in an abroad country, coming here for my studies. But everything changed when the world started spewing monstrosities, abhorrent creatures, and powers. This is the story following Rudy, who gets trapped in a foreign country when the world decided to metaphorically flip its table. If the [horror] tag didn't already tell you, this story tries to give more focus to the monsters than other Litrpg's and also intends to have a much more serious tone. My writing may be sub-par as I am a starting writer, but I promise to strive and improve as I keep writing along with your feedback and response. Updates will be at every 3 days.
