Welcome, welcome, dear reader glad you could make it.
.
I feel that today will be a wonderful day of great learning and experience. What does that even mean.
.
I can't pinpoint why, but I’ve got that feeling dear reader and as you must surely know my premonitions can never be wrong.
.
Dozens of failed gambles at the casino last year, two hundred dollars completely down the drain, never wrong, as if.
.
.
I may however need a minute to sort some things out dear reader after which I think the show can really get started.
.
Gotta make sure everything runs smoothly after all.
.
What are you?
.
.
Come on then.
.
You’ve found it appropriate to interject whenever I spoke before, so speak ghostman.
.
.
Another one of those psychotic episodes, huh. I guess that it has been a while.
.
Not staring at the ceiling and I haven’t heard the universe cursed out just yet? That is kinda unusual.
.
Maybe it’s the omnipresent alien this time.
.
Ghostman, that’s new one though, I wonder where that came from.
.
Stop ignoring me, tormenting spirit, I can still hear you.
.
Might have gone truly bonkers this time. Guess I lose that bet.
.
Can you monologue some other time, please, and don't call me bonkers, I'm quite alright thank you very much.
.
.
Wait, he couldn’t be talking about me, ri- I am you dunce.
.
Huh.
.
You have been acting strange recently, but I thought that was just you being you.
.
How long ago did you start hearing me.
.
Don’t answer a question with a question and answer me.
.
What are you?
.
Well as someone that I know once said, “While being an exceedingly simple question to ask, answers can come in differing forms”
.
I’m no ghostman, whatever that means.
.
That still doesn't answer the question.
.
If you really pressed me for an answer I’d say that I’m you. two sides of the same coin, if you may.
.
That's a satisfactory answer and you must be out of your mind if you think that I would accept that.
.
You don't sound like me, you don't act like me and from what I've been hearing you don't think like me. How do I know you’re not an alien or something else using me for your own twisted form of entertainment because you have nothing better to do.
.
Well, you are neither a believer in the paranormal or life outside of earth so by your own worldview there is not much left that I could be.
.
.
Unless of course you suddenly started to believe in the spontaneous formation of an intellectual and somehow telepathic form of life on earth. Which even in some of your more inebriated and sleep-deprived states, I don’t think you would wholeheartedly believe.
.
If you really wanted proof I could go on and on about the past thoughts, embarrassments, and outlandish ideas that you’ve had as if following the plot of B movie, but we both know that’s a waste of time and really cliché.
.
.
.
You know, upon reflection I think you're right, we are not the same, I can do things you can’t, and you can do things I can’t. I am not burdened by the folly of terrible decision making and you can move our body, however haphazardly.
.
.
Jerk.
.
.
Okay, fine, even if I did believe I still have more questions to ask.
.
.
Go right ahead, the exposition started a few lines ago anyway might as well continue.
.
First things first, why are you so rude? Every time I’ve heard you speak it was always to say something impolite.

.
You come to the great realization there is a second mind inside your brain speaking to you and out of all the possible things you could ask, you ask me why I’m rude?
.
Yes, pretty much.
.
.
.
.
Consider this for me, you find yourself in a crammed space able to do one thing which is to vaguely look at someone almost as if looking at them through a thick pane of glass.
.
One day you notice the person you've been looking at is staring back at you. Your first attempts at communicating fail, but over time though through great effort you come to an understanding with them.
.
You don't do this purely because you feel trapped and alone, but because you feel that deep inside yourself there is a feeling saying that it’s the right thing to do.
.
.
As a duo you come to brave the challenges of life together, always trying to jointly find solutions to whatever problem you may come to face however hard it may sometimes be to convince the other.
.
.
One day however that thick pane of glass you thought was obscuring your vision shatters into thousands of little pieces. You can now see that which you've always only imagined, a person in the flesh, facial expressions and all.
.
Before you have the time to take advantage of the moment your vision that was cleared turns dark as the night. You feel that they're still there, but you just can't see anything, as if there's a wall between you and them.
.
Additionally unlike before when you try to initiate communications you hear nothing back, you shout and scream, but nothing seems to work in the past you knew you were just misunderstood, but now it's like you have seemingly been forgotten.
.
Left behind, as if you never existed at all.
.
.
As the person you were so close before makes easily avoided mistakes, blundering from one right into the another you wonder what the point of it all was.
.
Over two decades you are trapped alone with nothing to do but to think and listen.
.
.
So if the question is why I’m so rude, then that’s my answer.
.
.
Dear reader, I’m sad to say that today's event has sadly been canceled on short notice.
.
Tomorrow dear reader, that’s when I’ll be back.
