Nick stood in front of The Master.

“So it seems you lost your memories.” The Master said.

“Yeah I guess.” Nick said.

“Well let’s work on that first and then to the thing I wanted to teach you.” The Master said.

“Ok, what do we do.” Nick said.

“We need to show you events in your life and hopefully one of them will hit you just right that everything should return.” The Master said.

The Master pointed to an orb sitting on a pedestal.

“That will show you your best and worst memories.” The Master said.

Nick looked at the orb and was instantly enveloped into a scene, it was a room with ancient ruins. He saw himself and Maya standing in the hallway.

“I just had a flashback of you being crushed by that giant man.”

“I wasn’t crushed I blocked it perfectly, it didn’t even hurt.”

“Yeah I guess I just thought you were crushed and I just about started to cry.”

“Why?”

“Because I,” Maya hesitated “Love you.”

He watched his past self's reaction. He then saw Maya catch up to Nick and swiftly kiss him on the cheek. Then the scenery changed in a ripple as if he was watching a small rock hit the surface of a lake. He now saw himself in a standoff with one of the girls he saw just before he left. She lit up and started floating, she aimed her palms at Nick and shot a bright light at him. Nick watched his past self curious of what he would do in the situation, all of a sudden the light started moving a lot slower as if time had slowed. He watched his past self create gauntlets and boots from air and started moving at normal speed and he ran behind the girl. He bashed her into the wall with a single punch. Maya ran out to him and hugged him, she started to talk to the other girl who he had also seen before he left. The girl who had challenged his past self climbed out of the wall and flew up into the air glowing brighter than before. She shot a bigger and brighter laser from her palms, he watched Nick push Maya out of the way as he took the blow. He watched Maya run up to him. “YOU KILLED HIM!” She yelled at the girl who shot the laser. Again the scene rippled into a new one. This time he could see himself and Sophia scrambling around in a room looking at a TV in the corner of the room. He watched as his past self turned around and started talking to the wall.

“What how did you get in here?” Nick asked truly puzzled.

No response came

“What how do I do that?” Nick asked.

Again no response came but he could tell his past self was listening to something.

“Ok, I’ll try… come here Sophia.” Nick said

Sophia ran to Nick who embraced her protectively. Nick watched as a blue hazy force field surrounded them like the shape of a half sphere. He heard a giant boom and the building blew up around them with fire engulfing the shield that his past self had just produced. When the fire cleared, the shield disappeared and they ran through being careful not to get burned by the remaining fire. Nick followed his past self and found Maya and started watching the scene again. The man Nick had seen on the ground before Maya had found him bent over to getting really close to Maya’s face. He was about to say something when Nick’s past self bashed his hand through the ground right under the man's head which allowed Nick’s past self to get a nice uppercut straight into his chin. The man stumbled backwards from the blow, he moved his jaw up and down and massaging it.

“That actually hurt, congratulations you are one of the first ten to land a blow on me.” The man said.

“Why is that are you just that pathetic that no one wants to hurt you.” Nick’s past self said said.

“No, I am just that strong.” The man said as time seemed to slow and he moved away at a normal pace.

Nick saw Maya watching as his past self started floating and a battle suit started forming around him. He landed on the ground with no skin showing being completely covered in armour that had the same design as his gauntlets and boots. Nick watched his past self as he started moving at the same pace as the other man. Nick watched as his past self yelled at the man.

“IF YOU HURT MY FRIENDS I WILL DESTROY YOU AND YOUR EMPIRE!” Nick's past self yelled.

Nick watched as the man injected something into Maya and she fainted and fell to the ground, the man picked her up and teleported away along with all of his men. Nick's past self fell to his knees. Time started moving normally.

“NOOOOOOOOOO!” He yelled in anger and sadness.

The scene started rippling once again Nick whipped a few tears away from his face, the next scene showed him and Maya in a room that had a similar style of walls from the ones in the first scene. He could see Maya as she opened her eyes, the walls dropped, robots started pouring out of the openings in the wall. Maya put her hands out to make her maximum arm span going side to side, he watched as a mysterious wind picked up in the room, the wind had no way of entering or exiting, and yet got stronger and stronger. The wind eventually got strong enough to move the robots, the robots tried to keep their ground but slide slowly across the floor. The wind was still getting more and more powerful. Maya slowly brought her hands together, as she did this the wind started twisting around the same spot, when her hands finally came together there was a full on hurricane right in front of them. The wind started plucking the robots off the ground when it got close enough, Maya steered where the hurricane went by aiming her hands at a spot and the hurricane slowly traveled to the spot Maya had designated. Maya brought one hand away from the other and brought it above her while the other stayed locked on the hurricanes destination. She flattened the hand that was above her, Nick watched as power flowed out of her hand and into the air where it was forming what looked like a boulder made of power. Maya clenched her fist when the boulder was three time the size of Nick, and Nick was very tall. When she clenched her fist the boulder split into a million little tiny pieces that looked like pinkie fingers only they came to a point on one side she quickly moved her hand at the hurricane, all the little rocks flew to where Maya was pointing and into the hurricane. The rocks disappeared in the hurricane for a few seconds, all of a sudden the rocks flew out like bullets of a machine gun, only the rocks were flying in all directions. Maya set up a shield so none of the rocks would hit her, Nick watched as his past self started moving as fast as he could trying to dodge all of the rocks. The rocks were moving really fast but not as fast as before, time itself seemed to be slowing again. Nick's past self was fast but not fast enough to dodge all of the rocks. Nick watched as his past self had rocks driving right through his body like air. After the rocks stopped flying out of the hurricane Maya commanded the hurricane to stop, once she did it slowly disappeared. She looked around at all the robots on the floor, they all had a thousand little holes the size of pinkies.

“That was a tremendously powerful attack.” Nick said as he started to move slower.

“That wasn’t even half of my power, I figured once I got to that mark that if I used it all I would destroy the building and kill everyone in it except me because I had the shield.” Maya said.

“Yeah, I guess.” Nick said as time seemed to return to normal as he fell to the ground without his suit.

Maya ran to him and kneeled next to him. “What's wrong.?” Maya asked worryful.

Nick just grunted and rolled over to reveal, five pinkie sized holes in his torso and chest.

“OH MY GOD!” Maya yelled realizing what she had done and tears started brimming in her eyes and soon became an all out cry.

The scene started to ripple again, “Wow, I… died,” Nick started looking at his hands. He then started clapping them to see if they were solid. “Then how am I here?” He looked up to see the next scene took place in a cave with a dark red light with no source that illuminated the whole room evenly. He saw his past self once again only in a cage with his limbs spread unnaturally apart by chains. A few moments later a woman he didn’t remember appeared in the entrance of one of the cave offsprings and started towards Nick’s past self.

“So did you learn not to run, you could have had a much better after life, but now you will be tortured for eternity.” She said.

“No, I didn’t, I will get back to Maya.” He said weakly.

“Hmm, too bad for you. How should we start, maybe dislocating the arms.” She said.

“I don’t care what you do to me, I will get back to Maya.” He said still weakly but with determination.

“Or maybe cutting off the legs.” She said ignoring Nick’s past self.

“What is this good angel, and then bad devil?” He asked.

“Similar yes, only I was nice until you disobeyed my orders.” She said.

“Ah, tell me. What metal is this cage made of?” He said asked.

“Why do you want to know?” She said.

“It just interests me.” He said looking along the bars of the cage.

“Mmhmm.” She said interestingly. “Well let’s get started, shall we.”

Meezan walked over and grabbed a knife, “Maybe not cutting of your legs but you will definitely be in pain.” She said while she examined the blade.

She suddenly turned to Nick's past self. She made a smooth swift motion with her arm and wrist. Nick watched as the knife flew out of her hand and cut the edge of his past self ear. He grimaced in pain. It was just a little cut but it hurt, he tried to hide his pain in hopes she would let him out of the cage if she thought he couldn’t be hurt that easily. Nick had finally convinced himself it didn’t hurt that much when she made another smooth swift motion. Nick watched as the knife sailed through the air so perfectly and straight like a missile locked onto it’s target. Nick suddenly pulled away from the memory stumbling away from the orb panting.

“I… I… I can’t relive that memory.” Nick said looking up at The Master.

“See, I told you this was the way to get your memory back.” The Master said.

Nick tried to talk but then realized he had his memories back. “You’re right, I do have my memories back.” Nick said with rejoice in his voice.

“Do you have the memories you made when you didn’t have any of your past memories?” The Master asked.

“Yeah I…” Nick slowly looked at The Master with a tint of fear in his face.

“What?” The Master said.

“Oh my gosh. I kissed Maya.” Nick said. “What is she going to think of me, I was way to reckless.”

“Ok, well now it’s time for that thing I wanted to show you.” The Master said awkwardly.
