Chapter 22 - The Hero - Part 1
Sunday, 7th of March - Chias, Chochica Empire:
In the throne world of Chochica Empire, there was a massive castle. It was a medieval type big and tall castle in the middle of this advanced planet. It was a castle that was created thousands of years ago.
Inside the massive castle, there were many different rooms and facilities. One of the largest facilities was the throne room in which there was one throne and two sets of pillars.
On the wall of the throne room, there was a painting that spans throughout the whole room.
It showcased the history of Chochica Empire.
In the throne room, there was a red and golden throne in which Nazar was sitting on. Two guards were stationed behind him.
Of course, he did not need guards but it was part of their culture that the king is always accompanied by two guards when the king is inside the castle. The guards were wearing two black thin armours that covered their whole body.
As he was sitting down thinking, a maid and a butler entered the throne room.
The butler was a tall and muscular man with silver hair and green eyes.
The maid was a tall and muscular yet feminine looking woman with blonde hair and blue eyes.
They walked closer towards the throne.
“”
“”
The butler and the maid said in unison as they bowed slightly.
“” the maid said as she smiled slightly.
“”
“”
Hearing the butler’s question, Nazar thought about it.
Where exactly did he want to go? Does he know where this problem lies?
“”
“”
The butler smiled.
“”
“” the maid added.
“”
The maid named Ella and the butler Rager smiled as they bowed slightly.
Smiling, Nazar stood up.
“”
Hearing that, the maid and the butler left and Nazar flew up.

At the edge of the Andromeda Galaxy, flying in the darkness of space, Nazar suddenly came to a stop. He wanted to reach the centre of the disturbance but for a little while, he lost it. He was following a disturbance he couldn’t explain but it vanished all of a sudden, so he made a detour and landed on a massive nearby planet.
Nazar landed on one of the tallest buildings he could see on this massive planet which seems like its 15 times bigger than the planet Earth.

Once he landed, he found that the planet was split in very oddly. One city seemed extremely developed while the city next to it was very old and primitive.
The developed city is supposed to be almost like a utopia but Nazar could see a darkness in it.
A darkness which lured in the shadow of this near utopia planet.
What did Nazar see?
While looking at it from above, he saw something.
In the shadows of this planet, he saw a scene which didn’t belong on this planet.
A murder in broad daylight. A few people were shot down in the alleys.
He looked around and saw similar things all over the city in the dark alleys.
Nazar’s eyes opened wide not because of the murders but because of something else.
Something he could still change.
On top of a tall building, a teenage boy was starting to jump off the roof.
Nazar flew down and caught him before he reached the ground.
He just smiled and brought him back up to the roof of the tall building.
Once he put the boy on top of the roof, he wanted to ask him a question.
Nazar used his super hearing power and heard some people speaking this boy’s language, so he learned it using his Omnilingualism power.
“”
The boy, who was pretty short and had features that resembled a human and an eagle hybrid.
He had huge black eyes and had grey feathers on his face. His feet also resembled that of an eagle.
“”
The boy looked at his body and saw that he didn’t even have a scratch on his body.
Nazar didn’t reply but waited a few minutes before asking him a question.
“”
“”
“”
The boy sat on the roof.
Nazar noticed his sad expression.
“”
“”
“”
“”
Nazar was taken back a little.
Seeing a murder as a child must be hard - Nazar thought.
“”
“”
“”
Nazar’s eyes widened.
“”
Nazar sat next to him.
“”
The boy took a deep breath.
“”
Nazar was not sure what to think of this world.
“”
Nazar used his many senses and checked the whole world.
“”
Seeing things that shouldn’t surprise him but it somehow did.
“”
Nazar’s eyes widened slightly.
“”
Hearing Nazar’s question, the boy looked down.
“”
Nazar looked at the underdeveloped cities and it was different.

There were no Gunslingers.
“”
The boy looked at Nazar with teary eyes.
However, Nazar was not looking at him.
He was using his many senses to find out more about this planet.
From the corner of his eye, Nazar saw the boy’s gaze.
So, he stopped looking at the world and instead looked at the boy.
“”
Nazar was not sure how to reassure the boy.
“”
“”
“”
“”
(Demon? That’s not possible. I don’t sense a demon on this planet.) Nazar thought to himself. (Maybe it's just an ugly person?)
“”
The boy stared at him.
“”
Nazar tilted his head a little in confusion.
(Then I will find them myself.)
“”
“”
The boy thought about his answer.
“”
“”
Nazar stood up.
(Found them.)
“”
“”
The boy stared at Nazar who was looking in a random direction.
“”
Nazar looked down at the teary-eyed boy and smiled.
“”
The boy’s eyes widened.
“”
Nazar started to float.
“”
Frozen, the boy watched as Nazar flew off.
လလလ
Far away from the city, Nazar found himself inside a mountain that was turned into a temple.
He saw a grey monster. Her skin was like a grey shell covering her whole body.
From the grey shell, he could see big black eyes of this monster.
Nazar landed in front of the monster who was sitting on top of a throne made of the bodies of her victims.
She was surrounded by thousands of Gunslingers.
“”
“”
The monster clicked her tongue.
She was annoyed that Nazar interrupted her.
“”
The monster gave him a blank look.
She then laughed loudly and spread her arms.
“”
Nazar sighed.
“”
Of course, it could not be seen but Nazar had a feeling she puffed her cheeks.
“”
“”
“”
Nazar made a gun gesture with his index finger and middle finger.
He held it to the monster.
Seeing that, she laughed.
“”
She stood up.
“”
Nazar narrowed his eyes.
“Bang!”
With that, a beam of energy flew out of his fingers and shot the monster in the chest.
And just like that, she fell to the ground with her heart stopped beating.
As she fell, the Gunslingers froze in their places. They could see the hole in her chest.
From behind Nazar, hundred of energy balls appeared.
In an instant, everyone was dead on the mountain.
(Nigh Omnipresence. Just this planet. Just present. 2-second limit.) Nazar thought to himself as he closed his eyes and started using a high level of power. (Locating everyone...)
Within two seconds, he located every member of the Gunslingers and the rebels.
In his hand, a blank energy ball appeared.
“Kill them all,” Nazar talked to it as if it was alive.
But whatever it was, in an instant, every single member of the Gunslingers was killed.
“Death Inducement. Useful as always.”
Death Inducement. A power which can be used to kill anyone or perhaps even anything. This power can allow the user to kill anyone instantly or over time, controlling the conditions of their death.
“Haha. I don’t need my own Death Note.”
Nazar waved his hand and a paper appeared before him.
In the floating paper before him, something was being written.
“I will send this letter to everyone on the planet and let them know their world is free.”
Nazar waited in this mountain for a few hours until he could feel the disturbance once more.
As he did, Nazar flew out of here and followed the disturbance.
လလလ
Some time ago, outside of the multiverse, the woman in the black dress with silver hair and purple eyes sensed something.
“Hm?”
She was very sure of what it was.
It is something she knows very well and hates.
“Ikeiss, the Eternal… The dragon. Nice cover.”
What exactly is the dragon? And what is her relationship with the dragon?
“I wonder where you have hidden all this time...”
A serious look appeared on her face.
“If you are back...”
She narrowed her eyes.
“Then I must start my plan. If you are to get involved, then things might not go as smoothly as possible.”
She let out an exasperated sigh.
“I wanted to wait a few thousand years… but if you are here... or if he learns about us, then it will be too late.”
She clenched her fist.
“Why did you have to return now? I thought I had killed you!”
Furious, she vanished into thin air.

The Depths of Magic
Synopsis It's the year 2052 and the release of the new next-generation full-dive VRMMO game called The Depths of Magic is hitting the world by storm. The game's technology will surpass all other games before it and shock the masses. Hector who goes by the name Locke inside the game is an experienced player of the genre. He is looking to continue his goal of enjoying gaming as well as the competition that goes along with competing for the top ranking spots. Novel Summary The Depths of Magic is a LitRPG novel focused on a Fantasy VRMMO setting. This is not a harem novel. In-Game systems The Depths of Magic features state-of-the-art technology never before seen in Hector's world. The key system the novel will bring up often is the Second Brain. The Second Brain system is more like a guidance AI for the players in the game that acts as if you had a second brain assisting your every action. How much guidance this AI will give is based on its experience or mastery skills a player will receive in the game. The guidance is seamless to a point where a player won't even realize they are being assisted, it's will feel like what they are doing is something they could always do. However, once they leave the game it will become quite apparent that they were receiving heavy guidance. The purpose of this system in a writing sense is to explain why a player can realistically become more powerful, more agile, or more skilled than they would otherwise be able to as a human. To give an example if someone could move faster than a bullet, how would a normal human brain be able to perceive and control this movement properly. Or how could a player who has never held a sword before become as experienced as someone who has trained with the sword all their lives? The magic system will be another focus of this novel. I don't want to spoil anything here but it should be an interesting one. The hope is that the system I have made will spark discussion between the readers on what combinations will do what. I already have most of it, but it will be fun to read as the author. Side notes My general focus for this novel is to attempt to make the in-game systems make sense. To give a vague example I have read a lot of novels of this genre and some have the habit of just creating such powerful items that it just breaks the system, and somehow the MC keeps finding challenging situations even with those items. What tends to happen when I read a novel like this I just ignore the stats of the items he is getting because the numbers don't even matter anymore. Release schedule: The chapter release schedule due to real-life complications is to release as I write them. Patreon setup: 1 chapter early release/discord access. Free content up to the current chapter includes an excel sheet that contains Locke's current stats at the end of the chapter. This is extra information for those that are interested.
