Chapter 42 - Birthday Gift- Part 3

On an empty planet with dark skies and raging thunder, Lucifer stood over Nazar’s body that was shredded into pieces.

“What a weakling… To die this easily...”

Lucifer spoke in an artificial voice.

He was being controlled by someone.

“To think he is a God...”

Lucifer slowly trailed off.

Nazar’s body slowly came together on its own.

“Oh?”

Lucifer tried to use his telekinesis to keep his body away but something happened.

With a bright white light, Nazar was standing before Lucifer.

This time, something was very different about him.

A faint white glow was sorrounding him.

He was also smiling thinly.

“I didn’t want to take control...”

Nazar said as crackled with laughter.

“But I need to get rid of the irregularity.”

Before Lucifer could react, Nazar did something.

Space before Lucifer disorientates.

He had no idea what happened.

The dark skies and raging thunders of the planet vanished.

The empty planet transformed.

In an instant, it went through billions of years. In that instant, Nazar had created many forms of species in it. They all evolved in one way or another.

The world also developed. It went from nothing to a utopia and then back to nothing.

This planet was now at the end of its life span.

And all it took was an instant.

Nazar waved his hand and everything reversed.

Lucifer and Nazar stood at the beginning of time. There wasn’t a planet to stand on. Looking up, there were no stars either.

“Is this a show of your abilities? Even an angel can do this. Anyone with time travel abilit--”

Nazar’s hand twitched.

A world appeared beneath them.

“Hmm. I was checking how much power I still held.”

Lucifer looked at Nazar blankly.

“Hmm… Not enough in this body. Well, still would be more than enough for you.”

They were both standing in front of each other.

But Lucifer moved.

He increased the distance between them by moving back.

As he did, he waved his hand a tornado made of hellfire appeared.

It swallowed Nazar.

However, he just spread his arms wide and said, “Is that the best you can do?”

“No.”

The artificial voice responded to the sound of Nazar laughing like a maniac.

“But this world… This universe is too fragile. Do you really want it--”

The fire split open, revealing Nazar’s red glowing eyes.

“Of course.”

“Since it was a gift, I didn’t want to damage this universe a lot but… If you say so.”

Lucifer cracked his knuckles.

“I will have to stop holding back.”

As Lucifer stopped holding back, the golden glow around him got brighter.

“Ara?”

The world beneath him blew up to pieces.

The next second, Nazar noticed that a whole solar system around them was decimated.

Looking around, he noticed planets blowing up in a distance.

Narrowing his eyes, Nazar moved.

However, before he could reach Lucifer, a massive beam of energy shot him.

It had appeared out of nowhere and shot him in the back.

“Hm?”

It was Lucifer’s time to smile thinly.

“This is going to be fun, new God.”

Lucifer moved.

As he did, the shockwave from his movement made Nazar lose his balance. He was trying to float but it seemed impossible.

In the next instant, he was flying through the dark universe.

“Hm… Did I just get thrown to the other side of the universe?”

Nazar was being thrown away in the dark place.

He had already gone through thousands of planets, destroying it.

“I wasn’t expecting him to go all out...”

A thin smile appeared as he stopped moving abruptly.

“It’s time to stop holding back too.”

He was floating in the middle of nowhere.

There were no planets nearby. He couldn’t even see the stars.

“Where are you… Ah!”

Nazar had located Lucifer.

“Ten… Nine… eight galaxies away now, huh?”

Sucking in a breath, Nazar moved.

Moving so fast that nothing could see him.

He flew past the planets he had destroyed. He flew through the suns which were still in the midst of blowing up.

In an instant, he reached Lucifer.

Lucifer had noticed Nazar coming towards him.

So.

Both clenched their fist.

“Oh boy… How many galaxies will be decimated if I don’t contain the shockwave of this punch?”

Coming closer, their fists clashed.

Nazar had created a barrier around just the two of them.

It was supposed to contain the shockwave of their clash.

It did just that.

But even then, Nazar noticed the nearby planets getting decimated into small atoms from the corner of his eye.

“How does it feel to let it all go, new God?”

The man controlling Lucifer spoke.

“Hmm… I am still holding back a lot. Even at this state.”

“Well, killing billions shou--”

“What billions?”

Lucifer moved back a little with wide eyes.

“No...”

“Oh yes.”

Nazar spread his arms wide.

“What did you think I did? Take you back in time?”

He shook his head.

“I created a new universe. A whole new universe. It’s a replica of Prime Universe but… There are no living beings here. I don't mind killing people but I can't let loose if there were people. My other personality won't allow it.”

“Then why…?”

“I wanted to see how powerful my force fields were in this form. Apparently not powerful enough. And I wanted to test out how powerful you can truly be.”

Nazar looked a little disappointed in his ability.

"But you are still holding back. Just like me. This is no fun at all."

Lucifer’s golden glow got brighter.

“Aha! I love it.”

Nazar moved.

And so did Lucifer.

Moving at a speed that was incomprehensible by most of the people in existence.

They avoided each other’s blows.

“I would use an anti-magic or cheat like that… But it will be a shame if I were to get an easy win like that. So, stop holding back, Lucifer. And I will do the same."

“Hrm.”

Nazar raised one of his hands as he avoided the dark matter blasts from Lucifer.

In Nazar’s hand, a sun appeared.

“The sun trick? Really, new God?”

However, Lucifer was mistaken.

“Just watch.”

Nazar threw away the sun.

The sun got larger and larger and larger.

Within a few seconds, it was larger than a solar system.

“This is gonna be good!”

"Oh?"

Lucifer noticed something.

The ever-growing sun was reducing in size.

But more and more suns appeared. Each sun was growing to the size of a solar system and then being reduced to the size of an atom.

Nazar was manipulating the space around the suns. They were large but also small.

He created one million suns and then reduced it in size.

Nazar held the large suns which could not even be seen by the naked eye anymore.

"Now then…"

Crushing the one million suns in his hand, he clenched his fist.

He manipulated the space and Lucifer was standing in front of him. Lucifer was removed from his original space and was brought closer to Nazar.

"[Million Exploding Suns]!*

Swinging his hand, he punched Lucifer in the face with the power of a Million Exploding Suns.

The shockwave of the punch destroyed thousands of surrounding planets.

Lucifer took the blow to the face and was unaffected.

Nazar knew that. He was expecting this outcome.

But even then, he was still disappointed.

Nazar held him up by his neck.

"It was not just the power of a million exploding suns but I amplified their raw power heavily."

A thin smile appeared on Nazar's face.

"I would love to kill you but you will be messing with our… ngh…"

Nazar felt something within him.

"No. Don't come...ngh… out now. Stay…"

Nazar let go of Lucifer.

He held his head with both of his palms.

(I am not that weak!)

Nazar heard a voice in his head.

(Give me back…)

Feeling intense pain, something changed within Nazar.

"...my BODY!!!"

The other personality had lost control and the original Nazar took over.

Noticing a white glow around him, Nazar felt his heart skip a beat.

He looked at Lucifer and said, "Be free."

As soon as he said, he reverted back to normal.

"It wor-- Nazar!"

Lucifer was looking at himself in shock when he suddenly noticed Nazar lost consciousness.

Lucifer teleported both himself and Nazar to Earth.

Lucifer restored Nazar. He was regaining consciousness once again.

As he saw Nazar was okay, Lucifer vanished into thin air.

Opening his eyes slowly, he found out he was still in the toilet he left.

(Ah, fuck!)

Whenever he uses his Godly powers, he uses up everything he has. So, he won't have enough energy to stay conscious.

Nazar washed his face and left the toilet.

He tried to recharge his powers but he lost it soon after.

(He said it will take a few days, right?)

The poison didn't just affect his powers but his mind too.

He started to feel exhausted soon after.

Appearing in a dimension far away, Lucifer stood face to face with the Nameless One, Supreme One and Aiht.

"See? I told you. He is different."

"Hmm. That does raise a few questions… Who took control? Which personality was it?" The Nameless One muttered.

"But that's not all," Aiht said as he narrowed his eyes.

"Hm?"

Everyone looked at Aiht.

"I felt… Someone is watching from afar. Not just him but the angels and demons too. Michael is working with them. And the Seven Deadly Sins are with them too."

"Seven Deadly Sins?" Lucifer's eyes widened.

"If you can tell that much, Aiht, then where are they? We need to take care of it much quicker."

"Look, Supremer, it's not that easy."

Lucifer tilted his head in a confused manner. And as usual, the Supreme One didn't budge.

"I know these things are happening but that's it. I can't tell anything else. My range of powers… Whoever we are dealing with is much larger than we know. Or ever faced."

The Nameless One and the Supreme One exchanged glances.

"What we know of everything… It is false."

Lucifer looked at the Supreme One.

"Lucifer, when the time comes, kills us both."

"What?"

"He is right, Lucifer."

The Nameless One stood up.

"If it's what we think it is, we will be the first ones to fall under their control. And you need to kill us immediately."

Lucifer was truly confused.

Both of those beings wanted to gain ultimate power and remake everything in their image.

"If we go under control, things won't end well for anyone. Maybe except you, Nazar and Aiht here… But you need to do whatever it takes to get rid of us."

The Nameless One looked down.

"I don't want to but you don't want to risk it, Lucifer."

"We simply don't care about any of this."

The Supreme One also stood up.

"We just don't want to be controlled."

"I see…"

Lucifer was not sure how to feel about that.

“Ah!”

Lucifer looked at Aiht.

“How did you manage to do that?”

“Hm?”

Aiht seemed a little confused about Lucifer’s question.

“Oh.”

After realising what Lucifer meant, Aiht smiled.

“Nazar can get anything he wants. Mine is similar but only when it comes to energy. I can get any energies, including the energies of Supreme One and the Nameless One. I cannot get or replicate Nazar’s energies or some of that level.”

The Nameless One looked at Aiht in surprise.

“So, I replicated the ‘feel’ of Arosus’s energies. Then got then merged it with the energies I took from Supreme One and the Nameless One. And that did the trick.”

“I see…”

Lucifer sucked in a breath.

“What are we going to do about Nazar’s situation?”

“When you came to us a few days ago, none of us believed you. But you were right.”

“Lucifer,” the Supreme One said. “We won’t do anything about him.”

“What?”

“What?”

“What?”

The Nameless One stood up.

“Do you know what--”

“Yes, I know.”

“If you know… Look, I need my biggest creation freed from this. I always wanted to be the God but if I couldn’t this he should have been the God. And I got what I always wanted… But after doing what I did to the whole existence using his old friend’s body… I want him to suffer as less as possible.”

“Oh?”

“If this new personality takes over, it can mean, not just the end probably for everything but us too. And you have no idea what else he might do. Something far worse. Something…”

“You are just worried he will destroy everything and not let anything live?”

Hearing the Supreme One’s question, the Nameless One lowered his head.

“…Yes!”

The Nameless One sat down.

“He did it once before. And I… I don’t want him to do it again.”

“I don’t get you,” said Lucifer out loud. “You wanted to destroy everything in the past and remake it in your own image. Then Nazar did it and you became jealous. So, you wanted to see him suffer even more… But why the change of heart now?”

“…”

The Nameless One kept quiet.

“I simply wanted power. But ever since the Dragon imprisoned me in this place 21 years ago… He told us something. Something only Nazar would understand.”

“Huh?”

“I don’t know either. Your father… The Supreme One doesn’t care. But I want to know what the Dragon meant. It came off as a buzzing noise. So, I am waiting for Nazar. For him to learn this language and translate to me.”

“And what if it is something like “You are a piece of shit, you pathetic creature”, huh?” Aiht said as he laughed.

“I…”

“He has a feeling that it means more than that. The Dragon also said that if Nazar doesn’t figure it out, one day, the answer will come to you. He said it will come to you when someone gets here. Someone who is supposed to be extremely powerful.”

The Nameless One held his palm towards Lucifer.

“Listen.”

An energy construct appeared that resembled static.

“^ $a/ £E%g’ *^$%$ sf8fj&h9s(<<…….”

A long message played. None of them could hear it. It was nothing but buzzing noise.

“Then why not find Nazar and have him listen to it?”

Hearing Lucifer’s question, the Nameless One snorted.

“Do you really think he would let me alive? He will kill me the instant he sees me.”

“Then…”

“I don’t know? A day will come and somehow… And somehow I have a feeling that I will know what this message means. But I am worried that I will have to die before finding out what it means.”

Lucifer frowned.

“I don’t get any of this,” he muttered to himself.

“I understand,” Aiht said with a serious expression. “I understand just one sentence of it.”

Everyone looked at Aiht in surprise.

“It says… “Nazar will need you. All of you.” But what will…”

Aiht trailed off as his eyes widened in fear.

“I also heard my own name. It was right before this.”

“What?”

“When we asked you a question a few days ago – about your creation – do you--”

“No, I don’t Supremer. I said it’s a secret… But I don’t know.”

The Nameless One and the Supreme One exchanged glances.

“Could it…?”

“How is that even possible?”

“Hm. Yes, you are right, Nameless One. It’s not possible. We are the first, after all.”

Aiht and Lucifer exchanged glances in a confused manner.

“Hey, what are you--”

“Aiht… Lucifer…”

The Nameless One looked very serious.

“Do you think there was something before the two of us? Like, another existence, perhaps? Or even bigger.”

Aiht and Lucifer’s eyes widened.

“Other Gods? Our creators?”
