Chapter 64 - Reawakening - Part 5
Chias, Chochica Empire - Andromeda Galaxy:
"Welcome to Chias."
Nazar spread his arms wide once he appeared in his castle with his family.
"This looks surprisingly… normal," Emma said with a disappointed look on her face.
"Yeah…" Angela agreed with Emma. "It's… I was expecting something else, to be honest."
Nazar sighed.
"I mean, where on an alien planet," Angela said as she looked around. "This somehow looks very normal."
"What were you expecting?"
"It's hard to say but I was expecting more."
"I see… Well, I have to say, Angela…"
"Hm?"
"You are reacting better to your first time teleportation. I am impressed."
She folded her arms and puffed her cheeks.
"Of course," she said with a smile. "I am not sure if you know this, but I have already developed my own teleportation device."
Nazar seemed impressed.
"I didn't get a degree in dimensional physics if I cannot at least make a teleportation device, then what's the point? And how else do you think we would have gone to another dimension without a proper teleporter?"
“Why not use already made ones? I mean, some of the big companies do have teleporters. And so do most of the governments.”
“Yes, but we wanted our own. Plus, ours is better.”
“So, you tested it on yourself?”
She nodded with a proud smile on her face.
“Yep. I teleported from one side of the world to another. To be safe, of course.”
“Just you?”
“Yes.”
Nazar looked at Aeron.
"I didn't want to be a test subject," Aeron said as he shrugged. “Unlike her, I don’t have a death wish.”
"Weakling," Nazar said as he turned around and walked towards his throne.
Aeron sighed.
"Let's just sit down for a while, get to know some of the people here. Then I will show you around tomorrow."
Nazar sat on his throne.
Resting his face on the back of his palm, he smiled.
"So, what do you think? Does it suit me?"
He was rather embarrassed by asking that kind of question but he had already blurted it out and couldn't take it back.
Emma took out her phone and took a picture of him.
"You know, photos are not allowed here."
"Aren't you the king?" Aria asked.
Aria was Nazar’s cousin who, in the original timeline, was very close with Nazar and Emma and was one of the few members of their biological family that had any connections with them.
Nazar nodded.
"Then why don't you change the rules?"
"Good question."
Within a few seconds, many maids and guards entered the throne room.
They bowed slightly.
"Welcome, your highness," said the butler Noah as he placed his right hand in his left chest and leaned his torso forward. "I wish your stay here is satisfactory."
Nazar's family looked at them nervously.
"It is our greatest honour to have you with us," Ella said as bowed with a smile. "Your highness."
The little kid known as Ereh also bowed but Nazar gestured to him with his finger so he ran towards Nazar.
His parents noticed but they didn't want to get angry at him for being disrespectful.
Ereh stood near Nazar and whispered in his ear.
"Who are those pretty ladies?"
Nazar chuckled.
"The one with black hair is my younger sister."
*Mm-hmm," Ereh nodded as he looked closely at Emma.
Of course, Emma was not looking towards them.

"The one with the red hair is my cousin."
"Mm-hmm."
"The one with brown hair, the tallest one there, is my sister-in-law."
"Mhm-- sister-in-what?"
Seeing the confused look on his face, Nazar decided to explain it.
"She is my brother's wife."
"Oh…?"
Nazar wasn't sure if Ereh understood.
"Ask your parents about it."
"Okay!"
"Anyway, the blonde one is my mother."
"Mm-hmm."
"As for the old man, that's my father. And the other man with a rather scary look on his face is my older brother."
"I call him uncle too?"
Nazar smiled.
"Sure."
"And her… I call her uncle too?"
"Haha, no. Instead of 'uncle', use the word 'aunt'. I guess Aunt Emma would do-- Ah, call her aunt crybaby. Now go greet her."
"Okay!" Ereh ran off excitedly.
He stood next to Emma.
Emma, however, didn't notice him, so he tucked her dress.
Emma looked back at the kid and smiled.
"Hello, aunt crybaby."
"...Huh?"
A little away from them, Nazar burst into laughter.
Hearing his laugh, Emma looked at him and moved her lips.
Reading her lips, Nazar figured out what she said.
""I will fucking kill you," huh?"
Nazar didn't care much. He got his short laugh out of it.
As his family was getting acquainted with the workers in the castle, Lian stood next to Nazar.
"How are you feeling, Lian?"
"Good… Who are they, by the way?"
"My family."
Liam's body tensed up.
"Y-y-you should have told us. I don't even have--"
"It's okay. They don't really care about if your dress is good or not."
"But still!"
Lian left to get changed.
She is Nazar's advisor and unlike him, in official meetings, she pays a lot of attention about how she looks. If she, like Nazar and Baros, shows up in casual clothes or armour, what would the rest of the universe think of them?
After a short while, Baros came in.
Once he entered, he knelt before Nazar's family who was standing at one side in a confused manner.
"Your highness," Baros said. "I welcome you to Chochica Empire. We are grateful for your son and what he did for us. He aided us in our darkest hour… He picked us up from the darkness and brought light to us once more."
"Err…"
They looked at one another.
“We hold you and your son in high regard. And would have done the same, even if you were not royalty.”
"No worries," Emma said. "Let that lazy bitch do something for once."
Baros looked at her with an anxious expression.
“I wouldn’t call him lazy--”
Nazar was sitting on his throne once he narrowed his eyes.
Baros, who was kneeling before Nazar’s family stood up in reflex.
“Teleportation.”
“Demonic magic.”
Both Nazar and Baros said at the same time.
As a red demonic magical circle appeared in the middle of the castle, Baros tightened his grip on his Excalibur-like sword and stood guard before Nazar’s family.
Nazar, however, was unfazed by all of this.
In the middle of the castle, someone teleported in.
“Darkness?!” Baros said with a surprised look.
Ignoring the confused people around her, Darkness looked at Nazar with fierce eyes.
“You owe me!”
“I know that. And I am waiting for your wish. So, if you are here to say that, then spit it out.”
“Okay,” she said as she walked closer towards Nazar’s throne.

Nazar looked at her carefully.
“By the way, Darkness...”
“Hm?”
“Why are you wearing a proper dress?”
Darkness right now was very different than usual. She was wearing a long black dress.
And she did not have her usual angry look.
"You look creepy."
It stabbed into the very being of Darkness.
But she ignored that and continued.
“Uuu… Uh… Um...”
She blushed for some reasons.
Nazar looked at Baros, who was still on his guard.
“It’s okay, Baros.”
Baros loosened his grip on his Excalibur-like sword.
“What is this debt she is talking about, Nazar?”
Nazar ignored Baros.
“So, have you decided on what you want?”
“Y-yes.”
“And your wish is…?”
“I...”
Darkness looked down as her face went completely red.
“I wish...”
She forcefully raised her head and pointed at Baros with her index finger.
“I want his hand in marriage.”
And what followed this was a long silence.
“...”
“...”
Baros looked at Nazar with a confused look.
“Say what?”
"Wait, what?"
Darkness looked back at Nazar.
“I-I am not going to s-say it again!”
“Wait, wait, wait...”
Nazar leaned forward in his throne.
“What do you mean?”
“...Huh?”
“What do you mean by wanting his hand in marriage?”
Darkness’ mouth moved but no words came out of it.
“I… Uh… Um… I am...”
“Nazar...”
Hearing his mother’s voice, Nazar looked at her.
“How dense are you?”
“What do you mean?”
“Obviously, she is in love with him. Why else would she ask for his hand in marriage? And look at how hard she is trying to not sure her emotions.”
Nazar looked at Darkness.
“Hm, I guess you are right.”
Nazar leaned back in his throne.
“But even then, why would you want to marry him? What do you see in him?”
“Uh, dude,” Emma said with a blank expression. “Obviously because he is hot.”
Nazar frowned.
“Can you guys let her answer the question instead?”
Nazar sighed and looked at Darkness once more.
“So, speak!”
Hearing Nazar’s stern voice, Darkness took a deep breath.
“I love him.”
Baros was dumbfounded. He was not sure what Darkness was saying.
“Interesting. Is it one-sided?”
“No,” she said as she shook her head. “He was the one who said he loved me first last year. And since then, I found out that I feel the same.”
Nazar looked at Baros with a serious expression on his face.
“How long have you two known each other?”
“Three thousand years,” Darkness answered instead of Baros who was still stunned.
Nazar’s eyes slightly widened.
“And...”
Nazar thought.
“What happened between the two of you in the last three thousand years?”
“Well, we were friends... Or rather a little more than that.”
Nazar looked at Baros once more.
Baros finally managed to come to his senses.
“Nazar...”
Baros sounded scared a little.
“Baros...”
Nazar smiled.
“I am proud of you, mate. I mean, sleeping with the enemy?”
He laughed.
“Not even I thought of doing something like this.”
Baros threw away his sword and kneeled in front of Nazar.
“I know I made a mistake and betrayed our empire. So, if you want to kill me, please do so.”
“Oh no, I won’t kill you, Baros.”
Nazar stood up.
In his right hand, an energy sword appeared.
“But her...”
His parents looked at him in horror.
“Nazar?”
Nazar glanced over to his father but looked back to Darkness.
“Nazar!”
He moved at supersonic speed.
လလလ
Once she separated from Nazar, Emily went somewhere else.
She went to a place where it is impossible to survive in; the second dimensional plane of existence.
Right now, she was walking inside a colourful city which looked like it was inside a golden age comic book.
Being inside a colourful and simple world, she sighed.
Walking inside a city which reminded her of New York City, she found a very tall building.
It was the largest building in the city.
It did not look much different from other buildings but its colour was pitch black and somehow reminded her of a building for evildoers.
The name of the building at the very top of it. The name on this building was; Erina.
Emily wondered why the building was called 'Erina'.
She looked through her memories but couldn't find anything. However, she did feel like there was something big related to that name but couldn't recall it.
Not coming up with an answer, she sighed and entered the building.
Entering the building, she found nothing. Everything was dark except for the inside of the lift, which had it's doors open.
“99th floor.”
Saying that the lift started to move.
Within a few seconds, it went from the ground floor to the 99th floor.
The doors opened and she found herself inside a large library.
Someone was floating there and reading.
“Reading a comic inside a comic book world? You really are interesting.”
“Technically, it’s manga.”
The other person who closed the manga he was reading and faced Emily.
"Isn't it weird?"
"What is?"
"Reading manga in a comic book world while we are inside a web novel?"
Not understanding, what Arosus said, Emily tilted her head in a confused manner.
“Anyway. Long time no see.”
Looking at the person before her, she saw a white-haired and red-eyed man.
“Hello, Arosus.”
This is Arosus. Nazar’s other half. The one who holds Nazar’s powers and knowledge when he was omnipotent.
“I am a mere avatar.”
“Tch. I know.”
The library changed.
All the shelves vanished, revealing a beach.
A beautiful beach alongside a beautiful blue sea that stretched for eternity.
Arosus’ avatar had also changed clothes, showing his large muscles and six-pack.
Sitting on a chair under a palm tree, Arosus was holding a glass bottle with juice in it.
“So, what brings you here?”
“Time… Fix it.”
“Oh my, oh my… And why would I do that?”
“Because I can’t do it on my own. Please. I asked Nazar today but he wouldn’t do it either.”
“No wonder he vanished from Arosus’ view for a short time.”
Emily is also outside of their view, so for today, Emily made sure that Nazar was out of his view too.
"Ah?!"
The avatar looked alarmed.
"He has vanished from Arosus' view completely now?!? What happened?"
Confused, Emily said, "Hm?"
"He has vanished completely off his view. Did you do anything to him?"
Relieved, Emily wanted to smile but kept a straight face and said, "Of course not. I cannot affect him. And vice versa."
His alarmed expression vanished.
“So, what did God say?”
“Of course, he refused.”
“Hahahaha.”
“He also won’t bring in the Nameless One.”
“Nameless One...”
Suddenly, the beach was replaced by a train. Arosus’ avatar was sitting down, opposite Emily.
The train was moving near the snowy mountains. In the cold night of the winter, Arosus was wearing winter clothes.
“Where is he anyway?”
“I don’t know. I was hoping you would know something.”
Arosus’ avatar thought.
“Can I meet him?”
“Who?”
“The real Arosus.”
Arosus’ avatar kept quiet.
The scenery changed once more.
Right now, they were sitting opposite one another inside a very fancy restaurant. They were sitting down near the windows and could see the entire city from here.
“No.”
Arosus’ avatar picked up the fork and knife and started to eat the steak in front of him.
“Arosus doesn’t ‘meet’ people.”
“I know that. But I need to bargain with him somehow.”
“Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...”
“What will it take for him to restore time and the ultraverse?”
“On that level… The price will be very high.”
“I know that,” Emily gritted her teeth. “But how high?”
“Kill the Nameless One and the Supreme One.”
Emily frowned.
“I don’t know where they are--”
“Negotiations are off, then.”
Arosus’ avatar smiled thinly.
“It was nice meeting you, old friend.”
He waved his hand.
“Let’s meet again. For fun rather than business.”
Emily found herself back in her home.
“Why the fuck do I even care?!?! I will survive the destruction of this any...way...”
She tasted blood as she bit her lip.
"Fuck!"
Feeling very frustrated, she clenched her fist very hard.
"There is no choice..."
Swallowing her frustration and smiling thinly, she continued.
"I force you to fix it."

Spiko's Journey
This is a Story of Spiko. An once normal cat, now a cat-girl. Which found herself in a new world. Searching for her home and anything that can hold her attention long enough. Join Spiko on her travels, in a world that is as unforgiving as it is breath taking. Be warned. This is a somewhat slow burn story. I expect that I will need a few chapters to get the rough outlines out there. General Info: -I really do this mostly, cause i need to freshen up my grammar and stuff. So, I will go over these chapters a lot, if I find errors (or you find them). I will mark revised chapters and what I changed in them ( if it is of importance to the story). I'm sorry for anything i might unleash onto the world. -There will be a little of everything in this. But I will never do harem stuff. Or horror just for the sake of it being horrific. No needless bad popes, bandits that rape villagers. Just for a hero to save the day. No stupid tropes. No OP Powers that can call forth doom to anyone. Spiko has Plot Armor as thick as any MC that you can't really kill off for good. But no Demon Lord will trip over a pebble, onto a peel of any fruit of choice and then die in a comedic way. When she needs saving. She's a tough cookie, which will find ways to get out of trouble (or into it). -Yes, the picture shows Spiko in her true glory. Before a lot of other stuff happened to her. And yes, Spiko is a weird Name for a cat. I'm weird. -Thoughts of Spiko are in Cursive = Why is that flower blue? -Descriptions and passive observational stuff that is coming from 3rd person view is in normal = There stood a blue flower, as Spiko shifted her wary gaze. -Distinct sounds are in bold = Swish (goes the cat paw on that blue flower!) -Talking is as always in "Hey, stop that!" -System stuff will be in tables = [Stat gain Stuff and so on] -There will be light GameLit stuff. I won't overdo it and if i do anything GameLit, it will have a reason and explanation. Do excuse the table formatting. I'm not great with word processor programs. -I'm crazy. Updates: Saturdays + whenever I feel like it (atm about 2~4 chapters a weekend + maybe weekdays. I guess?).

Adventurer Book II - Dawn of an Empire Short story prequel- The Lurking Lair: An Adventuer Series Short Story Summary for the LitRPG savvy reader: Looking for a LitRPG that is more tabletop traditional role playing game and less MMORPG? This is probably your cup of tea. Long term progression with a heavy slice of life element. Strong mix and inclusion of ancient Greek life, values, and myths. Hence, the world can be a bit more harsh and brutish than modern sensibilities. The system is tangible and knowable beyond the MC's insights. The MC is more of an everyman than someone specifically chosen for the experience. Author's Note: This is my debut novel. Up until this point, the only thing I have written of comparable length has been non-fiction and related to history. I am immensely grateful to all the folks who have given me feedback and helped me improve my writing.
