Chapter 107
Arc 13 - Public Enemy No.1 - Part 9
"Honour."
In a newly created Ultraverse, Nazar and Arael clashed head-on without holding back.
"Duty."
Arael sounded angry.
"Sacrifice."
Arael threw dark energy at Nazar.
"These are the ideals we have been living by as angels."
Nazar slapped the energy coming towards him with his wrist, and it was thrown towards space.
Far from here, that energy flew through many planets, reducing it to ash.
"To get my revenge against the Supreme One, I built this!"
Arael raised his hands above his hand as an excited smile appeared on his face.
"The Living Black Hole!"
In front of Nazar, a black hole with a humanoid shape appeared. It shot a punch towards him, but Nazar increased space between the two of them. The universe expanded.
"Fight concepts with concepts. Fight abstracts with abstracts."
Arael took a breath before continuing.
"That's my principle. So…!"
The Living Black Hole formed another fist and swung it at Nazar.
However, Nazar replaced the universes they were in, now the Living Black Hole was standing behind Arael.
"The Living Black Hole is a conceptual weapon that I created to kill people who stand in a position above me."
Beneath Arael, a planet appeared.
Commanding the Living Black Hole with his mind, it started to move.
Within a second, the Living Black Hole reduced the distance between itself and Nazar.
"The Supreme One."
Arael kicked his foot into the ground and shot himself at Nazar.
“And...”
Phasing through the Living Black Hole, he appeared in front of Nazar with a cold look on his face.
He had sent the Living Black Hole as a cover so he could land a hit on Nazar.
"You!"
The Living Black Hole stood frozen as it let Arael attack.
From the corner of his eyes, Nazar noticed thousands of angels and demons floating not too far from here.
However, he ignored it.
“You pathetic God!!”
Swinging a fist full of dark purple energies, he hit Nazar with it.
“...”
However, it didn't faze Nazar at all.
Arael let out a sigh.
“I should have expected that,” Arael jumped back.
When Arael’s punch hit him, anyone else’s existence would have been erased completely. From time, space, the memories of people and his soul too.
However, this is Nazar.
“You can’t be erased.”
Arael glanced at the angels and demons and it started to move.
“Behold… Angels and demons which I created. Each as powerful as the ones you know.”
Nazar wasn’t fazed at all.
He stared at Arael.
Arael could see the annoyance on his face. But deep down, he could see the negative emotions within him swelling up.
“It shoul--"
"Destruction!" Nazar said coldly.
The man known as Arael was reduced to billions of atoms that were scattered across the multiverse.
In the back of his mind, he felt some sort of pain. He was a close friend of his, but he also knows that Arael can survive this.
Despite the negative emotions of the Ultraverse flowing through him, Nazar’s own negative emotions were more apparent.
Even though he knows that he can come back from this, he felt extremely bad for Arael. He felt sad. He felt guilt.
"..."
However, he didn't expect him to return this soon.
"Oh?"
From a single atom, Arael had rebuilt his body.
"Phew."
“Impressive.”
“I know, right?” Arael sounded proud.
Arael spread his right arm wide.
In the other side of the Ultraverse, he covered a universe with his hand.
Clenching his hand, he picked up that universe.
“Ahhh. I have been looking for this so much.”
Arael manipulated the space around that universe and dwarfed it.
He pulled the other universe into this one.
Nazar saw the football-sized universe but did not react.
“Please, don’t disappoint me.”
Arael swung his arm and threw it at Nazar.
“I beg you.”
The football-sized universe hit Nazar in the face. An entire universe blew up in his face.
In return, he just let out a sigh.
“Damn...”
Arael knew that it would not faze Nazar, but even then, he let out a disappointed sigh.
“Kill him,” Arael said casually to the Living Black Hole who was standing in a fighting stance.
The Living Black Hole duplicated.
As the two Living Black Holes attacked Nazar, Arael spoke.
“I made these specifically to hurt higher dimension beings. So now--”
However.
The Living Black Holes blew up from within.
“Oh...”
A mere moment ago, he looked very excited but now, a defeated look appeared on his face.
"Boring," he said slowly.
He did not give up, however. Arael still had tricks up his sleeve.
From the corner of his eyes, Nazar noticed the angels and demons were closer than before.
“I don’t think even you can ta--”
Nazar snapped his fingers. With a snap, all the angels and demons were killed.
Thousands of them blew up, causing explosions larger than millions of universes.
Instead of frowning, “Finally,” Arael shouted out excitedly. “I have been waiting for this.”
By killing all these angels, he made a mistake but Nazar did not notice what he did wrong.
“Angels are concepts, essentially.”
That should have been a dead giveaway.
But the negative emotions within Nazar were spiralling up, so he could not think properly.
Something was happening.
With every word that came out of Arael’s mouth, Nazar felt the negative emotions within him worsening.
“When you destroy all of them, it creates a feedback loop through the Ultraverse, destroying all concepts. It renders all forms of conceptual weapons and attacks useless.”
Arael’s hand twitched.
Dozens of planets started to fly towards Nazar at full speed.
“But that's not all...”
If a universe blowing up in his face did not do anything to him, what were a few planets going to do?
Arael knew that. He knew that very well. But he wanted to annoy Nazar.
And because he wanted to make it apparent to Nazar he was looking down on him. Make him feel inferior.
“It restricts higher forms of powers too.”
Nazar’s eyes widened slightly.
“We can battle on equal grounds for a brief moment now.”
The space between the planets and Nazar shrank.
Nazar stood at the centre of the planets exploding.
Naturally, Nazar did not feel anything.
“You destroyed my Living Black Holes… You destroyed the angels...”
Nazar clicked his tongue in annoyance.
Arael, on the other hand, smiled in a mocking way.
“So, what if you can do anything? So, what if you can destroy my special weapons with such ease?”
Nazar narrowed his eyes and the explosion left from planets colliding vanished.
It looked as if nothing had happened. Not even the remaining debris from the planet could be seen.
“But there is something you can’t do...”
Arael smiled thinly.
“You can never be happy, you sad pathetic God.”
“...”
“With all this power, yet you still can’t be happy. What a pathetic existence,” Arael spat out.
Arael’s words stabbed into the very being of Nazar.

Feeling intense emotional pain because of those words, he flicked his finger.
Arael coughed blood as his innards were destroyed.
“Haha...”
However, Arael forced a laugh in return.
Although it did not end well for him. He coughed out blood.
Even then, he continued to laugh faintly.
“Haha…”
The coughed up blood entered his body through his mouth. He was back to normal.
Nazar felt somewhat annoyed at how quickly Arael fixed himself.
They have fought many times but Arael never showed this level of regeneration.
“Let’s forget these fancy ways of fighting.”
Nazar tried to push through the negative emotions welling up within him but he found it hard to do so.
“A fight between such powerful beings… It’s always boring. Throw universes at one another? Fight them with concepts and whatnot… It’s all so booooooring. It finishes too quickly and we can’t hurt one another. It is pointless. It’s boring.”
Arael clenched his fist tightly as his lips curled up into a smile.
“Let’s fight in the old fashioned way. Nothing beats the classic kicks and punches.”
Between his feet, a solid ground appeared.
“Fight me seriously.”
Kicking the ground, he shot himself at Nazar.
“We have done this many times before,” Nazar said in annoyance. “Can we--”
Arael threw a punch but Nazar dodged it by moving out of his way.
Reality had changed. Reality was made so Nazar was not in his way.
“For once, don’t hold back,” the God of Power sounded cold.
Arael jumped into the air and threw a roundhouse kick with his right leg.
Nazar used his right hand to block the kick.
“For once… Let out everything you have.”
Between Nazar and Arael, a wall appeared.
Kicking the wall with his left leg, Arael jumped back.
“Let out those pent up ugly feelings!”
Nazar clicked his tongue.
“Urk.”
Suddenly, an invisible force hit Arael and he was thrown away.
In an instant, Arael felt being thrown through many different universes, timelines and realities.
Every universe has its own set of rules, so he can feel the change in it.
“Why do you...”
Nazar raised his hand.
“You want me to go all out?”
A portal opened, cutting Arael in half. It sent his upper body to the other side of the Ultraverse.
Half of his body was being thrown to one side of the Ultraverse and the other side was teleported to another.
“You want me to stop holding back?”
Nazar inhaled.
Exhaling slowly, he moved.
Space bent around him as he increased his speed.
“Fine!”
Crossing the boundaries of the universe, he clenched his fist.
“Let's do this!”
Arael giggled while being thrown through many universes.
Arael held out his hand.
“Haha.”
He called his other self to him and reformed his body.
“Then I will have to go all out too.”
Closing the distance between them, Nazar swung his fist.
“You do realise that you can’t do anything against me, right?”
But...
“Haha...” Arael abruptly stopped.
Arael’s laughed made Nazar to back off slightly.
“Why do you think I destroyed your soul?”
Nazar should have known. It was obvious.
But the negative feelings within him restricted his ability to think properly.
“Creator versus creation.”
There was a special rule created by the Supreme One; his creation will always be weaker against him.
If they were to ever battle, he would always be superior.
Naturally, the same rules apply to Nazar.
“The taboo was first broken by Lucifer. And then Michael. So, of course...”
Arael smiled proudly.
“I had to break the taboo, too.”
For some reasons, Nazar felt a little excited. Inside that deep black heart of his, he found a little light.
“The battle between us… You don’t have to hold back anymore.”
Nazar always held back.
He had never let out all of his power.
If he stops holding back that infinite power even for a moment, the multiverse will die in an instant.
If he stops holding back that infinite power for a second, no one will be able to stand a chance against him.
“We are not equals yet. We will never be equals. But...”
Arael clenched his fist.
“For the moment… For a split second, I can reach the same level as you.”
A black hole appeared in his hand.
“Not omnipotent, of course. But I can match you in your current state.”
Arael swung his head.
Even though the negative emotions screamed at him to kill the God of power, Nazar wasted the opportunity to attack Arael. He didn’t want to hit him with everything he had.
Deep down, he was worried it might kill him.
Deep in his black heart, he could feel a few positive emotions.
“I am the God of Power. I hold the power of everyone.”
Arael punched Nazar in the face.
He could dodge it but didn’t. Nazar let Arael punch him.
“The power of every being from the Ultraverse. The angels, demons and the Gods too.”
Although Nazar was punched in the face with a black hole, he was unfazed.
“With the exception of you… I have the powers of every other Nazar coursing through me.”
Arael held his hand above his head.
“Which means, I also have Emily’s. She, who can hurt you.”
In his palm, a light blue energy ball appeared.
“I get that you have broken the taboo… I get that you have gotten stronger…” Nazar said exasperatedly. “But what is the point of all this?”
“The point...”
The energy ball above him dwarfed and then duplicated.
The colour of one of them changed to red and was stabbed into Nazar.
“You will know soon.”
Nazar frowned.
“I am getting tired of this.”
From the start, Arael was affecting Nazar.
Every moment, Arael was around him, it was becoming harder to control these negative emotions.
Every word that came out of Arael’s mouth, made it harder for him to control those negative emotions within him.
So, when he got stabbed, it made it worse. He lost his ability to think. He lost his ability to feel positive emotions.
Nazar’s eyes turned pitch black. He stopped fighting against these negative emotions altogether.
“I looked for excitement in life. It was getting boring. But these days… Not even fighting helps. Every time I throw a punch, I remember her. Every time I try to kill someone, the faces of billions flash before my eyes.”
A dark energy slowly started to cover Nazar.
“Every time I go to sleep… I need the help of someone else--- What I am saying is, I think I understand what you are trying to do. But please… Stop it. I can’t entertain your jokes anymore.”
Arael held the light blue energy ball in his hand and slammed it into his own body.
“I want us to fight seriously for once…”
A faint golden light covered Arael.
“My one second starts now.”
“I have been-- You really want me to stop holding back?”
The dark energy covered Nazar completely.
“Fine. Fine. Fine! FINE! I WILL!”
In return to Nazar giving in to his anger, Arael smiled thinly.
“THROW EVERYTHING YOU HAVE AT ME!!” Arael excitedly shouted on top of his lungs.
The negative emotions spiralled within him.
“YOU DON’T STAND A CHANCE AGAINST ME! NO ONE CAN. NO ONE--- I HATE ALL OF YOU. HOW DO YOU--- IT’S SCARY. IT’S… YOU ARE ALL BENEATH ME. YOU--- I AM GOING TO KILL ALL OF YOU!!!”
Even though it came out of his mouth, Arael knew those were not Nazar’s own words.
“That’s right, give in to the rage. Don’t conceal them.”
Arael’s eyes lit up with white energy.
“For once… Let’s put everything on the line.”
Earlier when Nazar scattered his atoms across the multiverse, he made a huge mistake.
"I might be able to match you for a second but…"
Billions of atoms across the multiverse started to grow.
"But with billions of us…"
Arael used singular atoms to build billions of new Araels, all as powerful as him.
“We can do that for longer, hehe.”
The many Araels started to attack Nazar from every direction.
Nazar lost limbs after limbs, but he did not feel any pain. Without a human-like soul, Nazar cannot seem to feel any form of pain.
“THIS IS ANNOYING!!”
Nazar’s arm had been cut off. There was no arm.
But Arael noticed as the tissues started to build up. Blood started to move in the veins.
“YOU INFERIOR GODS!!!!”
Nazar waved his hand and a few Araels died.
“Ah.”
Arael smirked thinly.
“How about I...”
One of the Araels stabbed Nazar in the heart.
“Urk?!”
Nazar left himself vulnerable to the people he trusts the most.
So, Arael used that to his advantage.
“I got the idea of different forms from you. A form for a certain set of powers.”
The billions of Araels moved to one side slightly and paved a way for one of them to fly right at Nazar.
If it was the normal Nazar, he would have noticed how the Arael changed in front of him a mere moment ago.
But he wasn’t thinking properly.
“Emotions… It’s one of the most important aspects of a person. It is the strength of a man. But also his weakness.”
The lone Arael who flew at Nazar clenched his fist and punched him in the chest.
“That me… It multiplies the negative emotions within you by a trillionfold.”
Nazar screamed in pain. He wasn’t feeling physical pain, but emotional pain.
However, Arael laughed.
“Since the negative emotions of every being through the Ultraverse were flowing through you… Imagine that but a trillionfold!!”
Unlike Nazar who screamed in pain, Arael looked extremely excited.
He wondered, how does it feel to have the negative emotions of everyone coursing through one person.
But at the same time, he thought; it’s not something I want to experience. Ever.
“AHHHHHHHH!!!”
The dark energy surrounding Nazar shot out everywhere.
“It took Lucifer thousands of years to get used to it. But unlike you, he had the positive emotions flowing through him. It balanced things out.”
“I HATE YOU!!!” Nazar screamed on top of his lungs. “I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!”
Arael took a deep breath.
“Then do it.”
Both of them clenched their right fists rightly.
They clench their fists, holding reality, space, time, hells, heavens, Gods and Angels, demons and mortals, and more within it.
“Give into that infinite negativity. Hit me with EVERYTHING YOU HAVE!!!”
Nazar couldn’t focus, but even then, he mustered everything he could within him and concentrated it into his fist.
“DON’T YOU DARE HOLD BACK!!”
Arael did the same. He concentrated everything he had into his right fist.
“Now… DIE!!!” Arael shouted.
With everything they had, they swung a fist at each other.
"Ah..."
When their fists clashed, Arael felt the bones in his arms breaking apart.
“Urk!”
The force from Nazar’s punch had broken everything inside his body. It was different from before.
Arael felt pain like never before.
(Time...) Arael thought. (Is… over...)
Arael’s one second was over too.
When the Supreme One made the angels, they had too much power. To restrict that power, he made sure that no angel could use their full power. Their physical form would cease to exist if they use all of their power and they would become an abstract existence.
Neither the angels nor the Supreme One wanted them to become such beings. If they do, they will lose themselves. And he would lose his control over them.
So, when he released everything for a moment, his body couldn’t take it. He coughed blood.
(Did it work…?)
The shockwave from their punch caused a large explosion that destroyed everything in its path.
Slowly but surely, the explosion washed everything.
Arael’s vision blackened. The last thing he saw was a large explosion, bigger than the very universe itself.
