Chapter 139

Arc 14 - Absolute Wish - Part 20

Plymouth:

It was the middle of the night, inside the dark alleyway, two people were kissing. It was Nazar and Laura, away from the gaze of everyone.

“Shall we?”

Laura turned around and faced the wall of a dark alleyway as she arched her back a little seductively.

“Are you sure?”

She glanced back to Nazar with a seductive smile as she bit her glassy red lips.

“I have been waiting for this,” she whispered.

There was no one around, but even then, they kept their voices low.

“You gonna do it or what?”

With her right hand, she slowly raised her skirt, revealing her body beneath it.

It was a dark night of summer, she was sweating under her dress.

While the sweat dripped through her body, Nazar said, “Wake up.”

“Hm?”

She heard something which she shouldn’t have at this time.

She was expecting something else.

“What are you talking about, just put it--”

“Wake up.”

“Gah!”

She felt something cold hitting her face, so she opened her eyes and sat up on the bed.

“WE COULD HAVE DONE THAT!” she shouted out loudly.

“Uh?” Nazar blurted out quizzically. “We did not drink alcohol last night… But are you drunk for some reasons?”

"Seriously, that was the best dream ever. I could have removed one thing from the bucket list!" She wiped the drools off her mouth with the back of her hand.

"What kind of dream was it?"

"Check it out yourself."

"I absolutely refuse to do that."

He would absolutely hate to prey on the minds of his loved ones. No matter what.

"Sheesh," Laura sighed. "We were having sex in a dark alleyway."

He stared at her blankly.

His eyelids closed and opened abruptly a few times.

And more blank staring.

"That's on your bucket list?"

She nodded energetically with a grin.

"...Dark alley… Just why? Do you want to be shot in the head with a gun like the Waynes?"

"The Waynes?"

She did not know who that was, so she ignored it.

"Anyway, we are gonna do that next time please."

"If-" he averted his gaze as he scratched his chin. "If you are gonna look at me with dewy eyes like that, I don't think I can refuse."

"Yesss!" She threw her fist into the air, vicariously.

"Any other stuff you have on your bucket list?"

"Hm," she thought about it for a moment. *Sex in cinema."

His eyes twitched.

"F-fine."

"Yois!'

"Yois? What's that?"

He sighed exasperatedly.

"Anything else?"

"Get married, have a good life, have a child-- two children (hopefully a boy and a girl, best combo), a big house, a car, and um…"

"Something less boring?"

She threw a pillow at him.

"How rude!"

He caught the pillow and laughed.

"I am kidding, continue please."

"Alright," she started counting with her fingers, "travel the world, go to another planet - hopefully Mars, ride (?) a parachute, and a few other stuff like that."

"Great. We can get through some of them now."

For a split second, she was expecting some big things to be written off, but then she realised who she is dating, so she let out a gloomy sigh.

“Hm, if the old world counts, I did take you to another world in another universe.”

“Yeah, like for five seconds,” she rolled her eyes.

“Well,” he averted his gaze, “true.”

“Well, true,” she mimicked him with a silly face.

“I will take you one day.”

“If I am alive until that day,” she let out a heavy, heavy sigh. “Anyway, why did you wake me up?”

“Oh, lunch is ready,” Nazar slowly started to face the door and wanted to leave.

“Oh, alright, lunch--” her eyes widened. “Lunch? What do you mean, I haven’t even had breakfast yet! Why did you not wake me up.”

He turned around and faced her.

“...”

Nazar stared blankly at her for a moment.

Then he arched his palm, facing upwards, a blue screen appeared, which started showing her a scene.

Laura watched closely as Nazar tried to wake her up but she would keep groaning and say, “Five mins...”

Watching that, she nodded, understanding what happened. She felt a little embarrassed about it, so tried to avoid the topic.

“So, what’s for lunch?”

“I made some random Asian dishes.”

“Alright, I am coming in. Need to take a shower first.”

She got up and went to the bathroom.

Nazar shook his head with a warm smile before going downstairs to the kitchen.

While waiting for the food to cook, dozens of screens appeared around him, showing him the news about the world.

There were millions of news articles, videos, pictures and posts floating around him, all about him.

It seems they blame him for the destruction of the Arabian Peninsula.

In a way, he considers himself responsible, but it was not him who killed them.

He doesn't feel anything towards those lost souls, but he is annoyed with his image being ruined further. Not that he cares, but it will be troublesome to those around him.

Enter: 「Digital Space」.

The world around him slipped away as digital squares replaced it. His mind slipped out of his body and into a computer.

Atop the slanted cyan coloured lines in a jet black place, Nazar stood. He narrowed his eyes and was covered trillions of videos, pictures, posts, news articles, texts, and anything else that has been made digital ever from across the world. Nothing was outside of his view. He had access to everything.

However, he focused solely on things that were related to him.

Conspiracy theories, memes, fears, wishing for his death were the most frequent things he saw.

He did not care enough about that, but he did laugh at those silly conspiracy theories like how he destroyed the Arabian Peninsula because there wasn't enough oil to harvest.

There was another theory which caught his attention: "Was the green energy which healed everyone in May, used as a way to warm us up to his arrival? And perhaps his masters? Could this be an alien invasion?"

He rolled his eyes at how fast all those theories went to alien invaders, ignoring everything else.

However, he still read it.

There was a mention of the superhumans and how they have been made by the aliens as their soldiers.

He rolled his eyes again and removed that theory. He deleted it from this world. Every trace of that theory in the digital world was gone now.

Weirdos.

Among the countless data in front of him, he found out what happened to the one who found the cosmic band and the one who found the magic book.

It seems they were taken to Guantanamo Bay for their terror attacks, however, that news never reached the eyes and ears of the public. In fact, those two are ghosts in the outside world.

Their future is already dead.

For many minutes he read through everything related to him.

But when he heard a noise from the outside, he slipped back into his body and saw Emma looking at the food he was cooking.

He did not want her to get creeped out by his soulless body.

“Why does it have so much oil in it?” she asked.

“Welll… That’s how the recipe was.”

“Yeah, but it’s unhealthy as fuck, fam,” she sounded a little annoyed.

He chuckled in return.

“Doesn’t affect me.”

“Cunt,” she rolled her eyes. “Unlike you, we do get fat and ill.”

“That thing will protect you,” he pointed at the bracelet on her hand. “And that device I gave you.”

“Can it be trusted?”

Nazar groaned.

“Fine, I did not tell you this before but I have made it so your body never gets fat. I wanted to make it so you never get ill, but then I thought it would be weird. But since you found out about me, I changed your existence a little, so you never get ill.”

She stared at him in confusion with her lips curled up in a corner.

“Thanks, but… discuss it with us next time.”

“Okay,” he nodded as guilt overwhelmed him.

He thought he was doing something good, but was this the right thing to do?

Just because something is good, doesn’t make it right.

“Sorry about that, though.”

She dismissively waved her hand, “Don’t beat yourself up over it now.”

“Alr--!!”

His eyes widened.

Who is that?

A hole in the space appeared as Nazar peeked through the roofs of the house to the person who was floating grandly above them.

“Supreme One?” Nazar muttered.

Many emotions ran through him, anger, and fear for those around him.

If this man-- monster is here, then something bad will definitely happen.

He has not met him face to face but he has heard of his story.

The supreme creator of the Ultraverse. He made this large light from nothing.

What does he want?

He sucked in a big breath before narrowing his eyes.

Nodding to the figure which couldn’t be seen just about anyone, he thought, I should prepare myself just in case.

Nazar is more powerful than him, but it wouldn’t hurt to be prepared for someone like that.

“Gah!”

Emma screamed in surprise.

“What the hell happened to the house?”

“...Nothing. I will be in the living room.”

The hole in space vanished and Nazar went to the living room.

The Supreme One and Nazar spoke for a few minutes before she called Emma into the room. She watched dazedly as Nazar asked her to choose a few numbers out of 10. She did and saw the Supreme One lose limbs.

They talked about the real Creator of this Ultraverse, who turned out to be the Dragon, who also seems to be related to the Queen and Virrasil.

Sitting opposite one another on sofas, the Supreme One broke the short silence and spoke.

“Now then...”

The real reason the Supreme One was here for was something else.

He paid the fees, so now he needs to speak his mind.

“I need the 「Reality Breaker」.”

“Oho?” he leaned back on the sofa and smiled thinly.

Emma - who was standing between them - her eyes darted from Nazar to the Supreme One, then tilted her head, completely lost.

“Please, do not ask how I know or what I want to do with it, but I will tell you this much, I want to save this world of ours. I don’t want that person to destroy what I created.”

Nazar bit his pouted lips a little as he thought.

“So, will you please give it to me?”

“...”

Should I? Nazar asked himself.

Should he? Should he give him a weapon that can potentially harm him?

What does he want to do with it anyway?

Meanwhile…

“What the fuck is a Reality Breaker? Sounds stupid and cheesy,” Emma muttered.

“Please, S-G-”

The Supreme One looked around uncomfortably.

He was about to call him by a name that would have surely angered Nazar and cost the Supreme One his life.

“Please, Nazar.”

Nazar realised what the Supreme One was going to call him, so he just sighed and pushed it aside to focus on the matter at hand.

“What do I get in return?”

“Pardon?”

Nazar leaned forward with narrowed eyes.

“What do I get out of this deal?”

“A safer world.”

“Hah!” he laughed at his answer. “No, I need something more… tangible.”

As the dry laughter vanished, a thin smile appeared on this white-haired and red-eyed monster that caused both the Supreme One and Emma to gulp subconsciously.

“I need the book.”

“The book...”

The Supreme One wanted to play dumb and pretend he did not know what Nazar was talking about, but he shook his head and decided against his plan.

That won’t work, the Supreme One sighed.

“「El Dorado」,” Nazar spoke in a cold tone. “The lost knowledge.”

“But--”

Nazar chuckled knowingly, cutting off the Supreme One.

Emma could not see the expressions on this Supreme God, but she could feel he was pale.

“Yes, yes, that is more or less a cover. Like the key to your treasury and Nameless One’s and Asteria and so and so and so… Either way, I need that book.”

“...”

“You can get the Reality Breaker,” he added with a shrug, “and whatever else you need from my treasury in return.”

“...”

The Supreme One was at a loss for words. Or was he thinking? Emma couldn’t tell at the moment.

“...”

He took too long to think.

Nazar did not know him, but he found it weird how long he took to think, especially since their perception of time is faster than normal people.

“Okay,” after a while, the Supreme One spoke slowly. “I will find the book for you.”

“Fantastic,” Nazar clasped his hands together gleefully. “I knew we could make a deal.”

He stood up, holding his hand forward like a leader.

“Treasury of Eternity: Reality Breaker.”

Behind Nazar, a golden energy doorway appeared. From this oddly shaped door, a spear flew out, floating in front of the Supreme One.

“I need the book soon.”

“It shall appear in front of you tonight, I promise.”

Holding the spear, Supreme One breathed out, almost happy.

“Thank you, Nazar.”

"Oh, the book shouldn't be any different than the original. Nothing new, nothing old. Because trust me, I will now," he warned him.

"Of course."

"Ah. One more thing," Nazar became anxious, causing the other two to become confused.

"What is it?"

"Let's gamble. It could either make bad worse or make it better.."

"..."

The Supreme One understood and nodded.

"Alright"

"Thank you," Nazar smiled.

And just like that, the world glitched and the Supreme Creator slipped out of this world and into another.

“That was...”

Still dazzled by what she had witnessed, she stared at the empty spot where the Supreme One had sat.

“Interesting.”

Nazar chuckled.

“Sorry about what you had to witness. I will make sure this does not become a norm here,” he apologised sincerely.

“No,” Emma looked at him in reflex. “No, I meant it in a positive way.”

He was taken back.

“Let me meet other cool people please,” she clenched her fists in front of her chest and held them tightly while she looked at Nazar with starry eyes. “Please?”

At a loss for words, he couldn't do anything but stiffly nod.

Why would anyone be excited to meet someone like this? he wondered.

At this point, he had completely forgotten that he, too, was excited when he first met Lucifer.

"A-alright…"

"Yess," she spun around a little. "Thanks."

"Don't regret it though," he said half-jokingly.

"Will not!" she exclaimed excitedly.

Nazar almost had to cover his ears because of how loud she was.

But…

Suddenly the time and space ripped itself apart for a brief moment as a portal opened and someone walked through it.

She was a beautiful petite blonde woman with crystal blue eyes, wearing a light cream colour beach sarong dress with a black bra, covering her average-sized chest.

“Emily?” Emma froze in her place in surprise.

“Emily?” Nazar furrowed his brows, wondering what she is doing here.

Unlike before, she sensed no hostility from him in return, so Emily smiled softly.

“That was so cool,” Emma said excitedly.

“Aww, thank you,” Emily spoke in a sweet tone, sweeter than she had ever done before.

To her, Emma is like a younger sister, so she loves her greatly. And sometimes also treats her like a child, which Emma hates once a while.

“Want me to do it again?”

Emma nodded excitedly.

The space-time ripped open and swallowed Emily. Once the rift was closed and everything returned to normal, Emma sucked in a breath as she stared at the empty place with starry eyes.

“Here it comes,” the overly excited Emma spoke as she saw small flickers in the air.

The space-time was shattered like a piece of paper as Emily created a portal and walked through it.

“So?” Emily asked.

“Yesss!” she threw her hands into the air. “That was awesome.”

However, Nazar did not like it as he clicked his tongue with a bitter look on his face.

“I can do that too,” he muttered to himself under his breath in the ugliest tone possible.

Putting that aside, he asked an important question, “So, what brings you here?”

“Right,” Emily's tone and expression turned serious, “was that the Supreme One?”

Nazar nodded, which caused her to feel fear and gulp.

“What?! How? Why?”

“??”

“??”

Emma and Nazar both tilted their head in a confused manner.

“What if she had gotten hurt?”

Unlike Nazar, Emily was very worried about Emma.

She went closer to Emma and wrapped her arms around her.

“Are you okay?”

Confused, Emma nodded.

“Yeah?”

“Oh good,” Emily let out a sigh of relief as she caressed Emma's head - which Emma did not hate, so she smiled softly. “If something had happened to her, I would have killed you.”

“...” Nazar stared at her with complicated feelings. "There is no way she will get hurt when I am around."

"Sure..." Emily did not buy it. But she did not want to continue this subject in front of Emma, so she tried to think of a way to change it.

Before she came, she thought Nazar was alone, so she had a lot of questions. But sadly, she had to leave those aside.

“Anyway, why are you dressed like that?” Emma asked.

“Ah. I was on the beach with my boyfriend and then suddenly felt something weird. I ignored it at first because some idiot was being clingy, so I needed to get away.”

“Ha, should’ve stayed there,” Nazar added.

In a teasing tone, Emily smiled thinly, “Are you jealous?”

“Of what, exactly?”

“...Nothing,” Emily gave up quickly. “Ah!”

Emily remembered something.

“Can I meet your girlfriend?”

Nazar stared at her blankly.

“Why?”

“I just want to meet her. Don’t worry, I am not going to seduce her,” Emily winked.

“I don't need to worry, she won’t be seduced by you.”

“Ah, damn,” her shoulders drooped. “I guess she is into big things, which I don’t have,” she gave her small chest a grim look.

“That’s not what I meant,” Nazar muttered.

“But!”

Emily looked over her shoulder.

“My butt is quite big, so that should do the work?”

Emma and Nazar looked at her with complex expressions.

However, Emily paid no attention to them.

“Anyway, can I see her?”

“If she wants to, why not? Why even bother asking me?”

“I don’t know, thought you might object to the two of us meeting.”

“Weird...”

Nazar realised how they met the first time in this world. They were at each other's throats. So, he nodded with a dry throat. “I see. But no, I don't object. It’s not my place to choose who she befriends herself with.”

Emily nodded with slightly pouted lips, understanding, “Alright.”

“Ah, there she is,” Nazar heard someone coming down the stairs.

“How can you tell?” Emma asked, confused. “What if it’s mom? Or Angela?”

“Their weight, height, width, smell, etcetera, etcetera don’t match with the others.”

“Width?” Emily caught onto a single word with great interest. “I hope that doesn’t mean her enormous chest.”

“...Well, one part of it.”

“Haha,” Emily laughed. “You and your obsession with-- Ah!”

She remembered something from a very old world.

“If I remember correctly, you used to say, “What’s so fun about the plump of fat known as breasts? I don’t get why people love it so much. It’s stupid to me.” Right?”

“...”

Nazar tried to avert his gaze.

“Uh…”

Letting out a heavy sigh, he nodded.

“Can we not talk about this? At least now," he glanced at Emma.

Emily understood what he was trying to say.

"Ah, right. it is weird. My bad."

The door opened and Laura entered.

Her eyes laid on this new woman she met for the first time.

Like usual, she wanted to greet this new person with a smile.

However!

Her face twisted in pain.

Her eyes widened in horror.

Her heart skipped a beat in fear.

Her mind pained as she remembered the pain which had been caused by the Nameless One.

And her body, it felt like it would explode in pain.

Well, that’s what she thought, but to the surprise of everyone, it actually was.

Dark energy expanded out of her body like a spike as blood spurted from her body.

“Eeeyyaaaaarrrrrrghhhh!?!?!?!?!” Laura screamed in pain.
