《Armorling wants to be a king》Prologue

One day, on a sunny afternoon in the middle townville, Newland state, a young man was running. No, like, seriously, sprinting. Evan was on his way to work, like he does every week-end. He always wanted to be a politician, although perhaps for the wrong reasons, and getting a good degree costs money. Like work-every-week-end-for-five-years-in-a-row kinda money. Evan was in his first year, and he was already getting sick and tired of that nine to five job. Or in this case his 4 in the morning to 8 in the evening job. He was running late, for the ninth time in a row this month.
"FUCK" he said, while carrying his bag over his shoulder. "Why does MacSwonnalds open at 4 in the morning anyway? Who's even awake at that hour, except for me?"
"FUCK" said the truck driver, coming from the other direction, before hitting said young man.
BANG! The boy flew through the air like a ragdoll. His bag flew to the side, spilling open the contents. A few books on politics, a DnD manual, and a half eaten peanut butter sandwich flew out and landed on the cold cement road.
Half a second later the Evan lands, face first, on the cement. He died instantly.
That's how Evan died at the tender age of 19.
....
Evan woke up, blinded by light.
"Ahhhhh, that hurt so bad, did I get hit by a truck or something?"
"Yup sure did"
Evan looked over and saw a white figure, with a black outline surrounding the figure like mist. The figure looks somewhat human, but the black mist takes the shape of a devil behind the figure.
"What are you, a ghost or something? Satan?"
"A little bit a both, and a little something else."
"So uh, what does your uh... Infernalness have to do with me? Did you kill me?" Evan didn't trust this guy one bit. Maybe the whole satan part just din't incite trust all that much.

"No I didn't kill you Evan, I only intended to help you achieve your dream. Didn't you want to be king?"
"I don't know what you're talking about.... hahaha" Evan laughed nevrously.
"Now, now don't shy away from your desires. I can read people's minds, desires and hearts. And I know you're pretty greedy. How about this: I reincarnate you in a different, medieval fantasy-like world, and give you a chance to become king. In return, you entertain me."
"Seriously? That's possible?"
Evan DID always want to be king. His father always used to tell him about how only kings could do what they wanted, and everybody else had to listen. Since his father, his only family member passed away, that was all Evan thought about. All he wanted. He obsessed about his wish 24/7, and after 5 lost friends, 23 counseling sessions and a ban from the local townhall, people gave up on him.
"Sure is."
"And I just become king? No take-backsies?"
"Nope. Although it won't be that simple..."
"What do you mean?"
"Anywaaay..... good luck!"
The figure waved his hand, as an invisible trapdoor under Evan opens, and he begins to fall.
"Wait, wait! At least give me a sword or OP fantasy skill or something! I want to be king!!!"
Evan shouted as he fell, his falling speed acceleratin by the second.
"Oh you"ll become king alright. Or you"ll die trying, one of those two."
.....
For the second time today, Evan woke up in an unfamilliar place. He tried to get up and look around. Getting his bearings was his first priority in this foreign environnement.
He quickly noticed several problems. First; he couldn' sit up. His body wouldn't bend properly for some reason. Second; he couldn't look around. In fact, he couldn't see in the first place.

He tried to get a feel for his body instead, and felt a torso and single eye with no eyelid. Problem is: his eye can't see. He quikly realized he was lacking a severe number of essential body parts. He felt no mouth, legs, or even hunger and thirst.
Not knowing what else to do Evan started thinking.
Ok, so I'm in this body, which probably isn't human. I can't see, hear or smell anything, and i'm probably not in a safe location, since Satan was saying some pretty scary stuff at the end there. Come on Evan think back to all that king-prep you weent through. What would kings in a fantasy world do? Oh right!

Of Men and Dragons, Book 2
Jack, S'haar, and all their family are back. After crashing his ship on an underdeveloped world, Jack found friends and family among the terrifying cat-lizard natives of the world, but now mere survival is no longer enough. They must carve out a new home for themselves in the landscape of the now rapidly changing world. Raiders, politics, and even nature threaten their happiness and their lives while they struggle to deal with the nightmares and traumas of yesterday. They'll need to depend on each other more than ever if they hope for their new home to have any kind of future. In case you missed it, here's book one. ATTENTION: This is soft sci-fi rather than hard sci-fi, hence why I chose that tag. For those of you unfamiliar with the distinction, here's what Wikipedia had to say. 1. It explores the "soft" sciences, and especially the social sciences (for example, anthropology, sociology, or psychology), rather than engineering or the "hard" sciences (for example, physics, astronomy, or chemistry). 2. It is not scientifically accurate or plausible; the opposite of hard science fiction. Soft science fiction of either type is often more concerned with character and speculative societies, rather than speculative science or engineering. The term first appeared in the late 1970s and is attributed to Australian literary scholar Peter Nicholls.
