《Dimensional Market System》(IX)

Just as Oreth hit the ground he heard a loud smashing sound. When he turned around he found a large spiked stone inserted into the wooden stand where he was standing.
"Who the hell are you to attack my friend!"
Two of Turgas' lackeys were standing beside a large blond demon.
The blond demon turned to look at Enrath "Friend you say, you'll regret those words. Oreth, you're the reason that my brother was hurt, though I can't do anything to that bastard at the moment. You and your friend on the other hand are fair game."
As Anithal finished speaking he raised his hand and three stone javelins materialized and were shot at his and Ernath's legs. Before they could get near them the green-haired demon pulled out his chain and cut through the spears and they disintegrated. After taking care of the projectiles Ernath flung his chain and with snake-like movements the chain wrapped around the blond demon.
Anithal was surprised by the sudden trap but a smile spread across his face.
"Do you think that this is enough to hold me?" As Anithal spoke a slight mist moved around his body and the chain began to be engulfed in ice.
Ernath sighed and raised his hand towards his chain and suddenly the chain began to glow in a light green light. After a closer look, Oreth noticed that what was glowing was actually runes that were on the chain. As soon as the runes were lit up the chain started to vibrate and the ice that was surrounding it began to shatter.
After his attempt to get out failed Anithal showed an even uglier face, but then it turned to an expression full of pain. The chain that was wrapped around him began to tighten and vibrate more wildly.

"Not only do you threaten me but you also attack the one that I owe my life to! Just start hoping that in your next life you make smarter choices."
Suddenly a black leopard leaped out of Ernath's shadow and prepared to pounce on the green-haired demon.
Oreth quickly tried to activate his Lighting Strike magic but he doubted that he would make it in time.
That's when out of nowhere an arrow appeared and shot right at the Leopard's head. A slight second later Anithal's head was also pierced by a pitch-black arrow that disintegrated seconds after it had hit its target.
Ernath and Oreth along with everyone else began looking around to try to find the shooter but they weren't able to find anyone.
After finishing their meal they walked out of the Market square, "So Oreth how about we meet some other time and go on a hunting trip?
He quickly nodded, "I'd really like that, after today I was reminded once more of my inexperience, not to mention my lack of skills. Once I have enough money I'll probably buy a grimoire and learn another skill."
Ernath nodded and began walking away, "I'll see you at the entrance of the school, take care for now."
When he returned to his house he got chewed out by his father for stealing his weapon and creating trouble. The father of Turgas and Anithal went to their shop to tell them that they would no longer see him alive, he even waited outside the house. The poor man went pale and nearly blacked out when he found out that he was mistaken. Who could blame him since both his sons had some talent, Anithal had the earth and ice affinity and a good amount of mana. In the future, he might have gotten the position of 1st rank squad leader. This position might not sound like much when compared to others but, it meant that you were in charge of 100 men. For Oreth who had lived on earth and had the memories of his previous self, this was huge.

While the two trouble maker's father was in shock his father snatched the spear from him and pierced the man's head. To make sure that the job was done correctly his father injected his mana into the spear and a large flame melted the demon's head off.
'Damn, I need to make sure that I don't get on his bad side. Correction, from now on I shouldn't get into his bad side.'
After killing the man in cold blood his father searched what was left of the body for any valuables when there was nothing of value left he threw the body into the furnace and heated that baby as much as possible.
After listening to a 20 minute long speech of how useless he was and how much trouble he was in his parents let him go back up into his room. Of course, not before his father took the spear away.
Oreth had been dying to be alone in his room, those cards that he had seen earlier were definitely a part of his system. The way that his system worked was that he killed things and would get these cards with the item.

Love, Napalm & Homicidal Fairies
When Nasilain started traveling between worlds, she hadn’t expected to get caught by a police officer. Nasilain: Traveling between worlds always filled Nasilain with dread. All those men with their friendly smiles and hundreds of questions. What was the last movie she watched? What music did she like? What country was she from? If Nasilain could use magic in this world, she would’ve blocked the flow of calcium ions in their jaw muscles just to shut them up. The scientific knowledge she could find on the internet using the free Wi-Fi in one of the local coffee shops forced her to tolerate the occasional interrogation. But even hipsters were better than Seth, the beefy police officer that caught her teleporting. Apparently, she wasn’t allowed to lie to him, which was fine as long as he didn’t ask about the clone. Seth: Seth had seen his share of bad luck. On normal days, it manifested as a shoulder injury that got him discharged from his SEAL team or wounding a civilian while on the police force. But landing in a parallel dimension with elves in neon green pants, a cute mad scientist with magical abilities, and swarms of carnivorous fairies? That was a first. At least Nasilain promised not to use her magic to split atoms. Content warning: This book DOES NOT contain zombie fairies. Everything else is fair game though.

The deep timber of the man's voice rings out through the still night and my body shivers in fear and disgust. Suddenly another man is at my side, twining his fingers through my hair. I can't see either of them clearly in the dark. The man, Bennett apparently, leans down close to me and takes in a large lungful of my scent as well. My knees begin to shake in terror and a low growl rumbles from his chest."She does smell good. She's pretty too." He says, pecking a kiss to my cheek. My face crunches in despair as I try to pull from their hold. "Let me go." I beg and the first man chuckles. "Awe. The little human is nervous." He says, amusement evident in his voice. A sob breaks from my lips as I try to pull my arm from his grasp."You're hurting me." I say, tugging my arm again."Let her go, Rowan." Bennett says, making the larger man grunt."Don't get attached to her. You know what happened to the last one."Cover made by @ViaAlyssaNicole
