>The religion to the various "gods" originated from a quite unlucky farmer. His crops were withering, his son was more interested in girls than finding an aprenticeship, his daughters were enamored by magic and the aplications of it in war.

>on day, while it was raining, as he was attending his crops he found the small form of a sapling Ent, the first young race. The sapling was the reason his crops we withering. Instead of uprooting the sapling, as many others would have, the farmer left it. He started to raise it, telling it about his family and how much of a failure he was.

>The Ent listened to him, and told him of the Ent's story, where they once numbered in the trillions, spreading plants and life with them. However, in their haste to spread the gift of Life, they forgot about Death. Death was patient and unforgiving. What you did or acomplished ment nothing to it.

>With Life running rampant through out the continent, Death finally grew jelous. Death decided that Life had gotten to full and asked for Life to make a plant for it.

>Life obliged, as it would allow one tree to be dedicated to Death. Death took the plant to the volcano and planted it. It quickly grew and bloomed into a tree unlike any other.

>This tree was made with two things in mind for Death. The first that it is extreamly flamable. The second was that it was a super pollenator. Soon one was ten, then a thousand, and soon uncontable. When Life learned that Death's plant was overtaking the continent, it asked Time for help.

>Time went to the original plant, now twisted and dry with age, and took the last seed of pollen. Time then went and shoved said pollen up a little fire girl's nose so far up that her sneases were sooooo powerful that they ignited all the trees in the world.

>>note, this story goes on for awhile, the little Ent is just explaining to the farmer why the gods are no longer roaming around and ruling civilisation.

>Due to the shifting earth, the Dwarfs and Giants have taken their civilization to the sky, along with a few other races. Their underground cities have either been retrofitted with air repulsers or abandoned.

>They have left because of several reasons, most notably due to giant rocks falling on entire sections of cities and leaving them as pancakes.

>Upon the Founding of the United Collective Races, the coalition which found the Colosseum, the rush for ownership of said location became a literal blood bath. The ground has been colored red, for what seems to be perminant.
