"Why don't we try having your Zubat with you in a sparring session? I want to know their battle capabilities if they are worth nurturing."

Inoichi looked at Inochi and gave a confident smile. "As you wish, Hokage-sama."

Both of them went outside the room and entered the area where Okami was waiting.

"Hokage-sama, Inoichi-ojisan, are we done?" Okami looked at them curiously, his eyes never leaving the Zubat's view, who was flying above Inoichi's head.

Inoichi knew that he was curious about the Pokemon and how he got it, and immediately explained what happened while he was inside Okami's mind, including how he got Zubat, the prophecies he had, and the real event that transpired to the Ketchum clan.

Okami was already aware of this but he continued to act and showed a surprised look as his eyes almost popped out while Inoichi recounted about his meeting with Oak. What was unexpected for him was Oak's gift to the newly ordained Pokemon trainer, it was not part of the plan. Much to his dismay, he did not earn any Pokemon Points when Inoichi became a Pokemon trainer, but he came to accept it because it was not due to his effort that the Yamanaka turned into one. At least, Pokemon was slowly established as a source of power in this world, and he was starting to convince other people to have their Pokemon as their partners and become a Pokemon trainer.

Okami was thankful that the God he met in his dream fulfilled his promise of creating fake memories inside his mind, thereby establishing what he said earlier. Since his fake background was already laid bare to the leaders, then he might as well act it out and live as a true Ketchum descendant with Summoning and Prophetic powers.

"Okami-kun, we'd like to ask you a favor." Inoichi grabbed Inochi and tickled, which made the bat shrieked. "We hope that you help us test Zubat's fighting capabilities and give me some pointers on using Pokemon in fights. You are the best person to contact when it comes to this kind of battles."

Okami smirked when he saw the laughing Zubat which was helpless in the hands of Inoichi. He did not reply right away, instead, he opened his right palm, and the Pokemon App appeared on his hand. "Before anything else, let me see the Pokedex and find out Zubat's stats."

Okami looked at the details and grinned. Even though the level was only 1 but its ability was really good especially when being used by a ninja in 'Absorb' mode. He looked up and found out that both men were giving him an incredulous stare.

"Oh, this is the Pokemon App which you have seen yesterday, and only us Ketchums can use this magical weapon. With this, I can easily assess the strength of the Pokemon. Here, look Inoichi-ojisan and see Zubat's Pokedex."

Inoichi held the Pokemon App and looked at its screen, its eyes twinkling when he saw Inochi's stats. Even though there was lots of locked information, it was still enough to have an estimate about his Pokemon's strength. Hiruzen took a peek as well and was confused with the details that the Pokemon App showed.

Hiruzen was about to return the Pokemon App when it vanished and later reappeared back on Okami's right hand.

Okami sneered when he saw their expressions and puffed his chest in pride. "I can give you some pointers in fighting together with your Pokemon, Inoichi-ojisan. The thing is, Zubat is still low level and is yet to learn new techniques to become more effective when fighting in 'Free' form. It is much better to use first in 'Absorb' mode and fully utilize its ability and skills, and level it at the same time. Since Zubat has its speed as its highest stats, then it will increase your speed as well. The higher the Zubat's level is, the faster you get."

"Do you know what Infiltrator does, Okami-kun?" Inoichi asked as he released Zubat in the air.

"Your attack does full damage to anyone even when they have Jutsus that increased their defense against Taijutsu or Ninjutsu. You can ask Inochi regarding his skills, he can fully explain everything to you, Inoichi-ojisan."

Hiruzen gave a knowing smile and touched his beard. "Well, how about you, Okami-kun? Would you like to join us and show the capabilities of your Pokemon? I think no one will bother to disturb us, that I will make sure of."

Okami smiled widely and nodded. "The pleasure is all mine. I can show you what my Pokemon can do and you will see how formidable these Pokemon are, Hokage-sama."

"So, things are decided. There's a place convenient for us to test things."

Okami could not help but recall the scenes where Team 7 or Kakashi Team had the Bell Test. They were now in the middle of a plain surrounded by thick trees. Several ninjas were stationed along each side of the forest. Despite the heat of the sun, the surrounding was still surprisingly cool because of the plants and vegetation.

"Okay, here we are. I think it's time for you to show your Pokemon, Okami-kun," Hiruzen reminded the kid, his eyes full of expectation.

"Sure, Hokage-sama." Okami did not bother doing some hand signals and directly called his three Pokemon, and Vulpix, Caterpie, and Abra appeared in front of him.

Vulpix looked around and noticed several ninjas which slightly intimidated him but as soon as he saw Okami, he squeaked in delight and ran towards the kid. He rubbed his head on Okami's left leg while its six tails were moving together like a fan.

Caterpie saw everything that transpired and uttered a weak sound as she slowly crawled along the ground, excited to see her partner, Okami.

Abra just stood there as he closed his eyes.

Hiruzen was familiar with the two Pokemon and narrowed his eyes when he saw the humanoid one. He approached the trio and gave them a reassuring grin. "Can you show us what they can do, Okami-kun?"

Inoichi looked at the other Pokemon intensely as he held Zubat on his hands, which was desperately trying to fly but to no avail. He caught a bug and feed it, which Inochi happily gobbled up.

"Okay, meet Caterpie, a bug Pokemon. As of the moment, she only knows two techniques. It can tackle opponents to attack and use string shot to slow down her opponents. In 'Absorb' mode, I can use 'Run Away' ability, which makes me somewhat invulnerable to traps and binding techniques. I don't know if I am invulnerable to Genjutsus as well but I think I'll just experiment later on. I need some volunteers, please." After talking, Okami saw someone who came before him and gave a slight bow, indicating that he was ready. He knew that the ninja was a Genin because of his uniform. "Hello, I'm Okami."

"Taeho Kushiki, a Genin." The ninja pulled out his kunai.

As soon as he saw this, Okami looked at Caterpie and uttered, "Absorb: Caterpie."

Caterpie disappeared and just like before, the light beam was absorbed into Okami's hands. Without wasting time, he extended both his hands forward and webs protruded out of his wrists.

The Genin was not used to this kind of attacks and was about to dodge when he saw Abra appeared before him, which shocked him. As he was afraid of the creature's unknown power, he unconsciously stepped backward when he felt something bumped his ass, halting his movement. His body was flung towards Abra but the humanoid Pokemon disappeared once again. The ninja was hit by the web, covering him with the silky thread once again. He tried escaping but noticed that his movement was slowed down. When he saw Okami extending his hands again, he almost jumped to the right side when he noticed Abra appearing in front of him, forcing him to back down but the ninja felt another force bumping against his butt. His body was pushed forward and was hit by the webs again. He was annoyed and turned around to see Vulpix scurrying towards him. He kicked the running fox but Vulpix dodged towards the right, able to fully maneuver and escape from the attack because the enemy's movement was very slow. He felt another web hitting his back and was helpless when he saw Vulpix running again towards him, this time the fox's eyes were fixed on his crotch. He felt his hair on his nape stood up and sensed great danger on his manhood.

Desperate, the Genin wanted to escape but his body was very slow. He knew he was fucked up when he heard Okami shouting 'String Shot' for the fifth time. His body was almost covered with webs while his crotch was hit by Vulpix, which made his eyes bulged.

"String Shot," Okami shouted for the sixth time, feeling a little bit exhausted because his chakra reserve was getting low and his body was not conditioned to do strenuous activities for a long time, much more a fight like this. Still, he commanded Vulpix through his mind to Tackle the ninja on his crotch to fully incapacitate his opponent. The enemy gave a sharp groan when Vulpix's attack successfully hit him again and decided to use one move to finish the opponent. "Absorb: Vulpix."

Vulpix became a swirling mass of light which then was absorbed on his body. Okami ran as fast as he could towards his still opponent and rammed him with his right shoulder as he shouted, "Intermediate Tackle!"

BOOM!

The unnamed ninja's body flew like a kite, hitting against the nearest tree and slid down slowly. Okami released the 'Absorb' mode and the two Pokemon appeared on the ground beside him.

Hiruzen signaled one of the ninjas , who complied right away as he gave first aid treatment to the pummeled Genin. Rubbing his head, Hiruzen did not expect that Okami had no control over his attacks even though it was just a sparring session. He relented that he instructed Taeho to use Taijutsu alone. If it was not the case, the Genin could have used the Body Replacement Technique to avoid the fatal crotch attack. He assessed that Okami was not an experienced fighter even though he won.

"Are you okay, Okami-kun?" Hiruzen gave him an inquisitive look.

Okami took a deep breath as he rubbed his chest. "I'm...I'm fine. I did not expect to consume much chakra but otherwise, I'm fine."

Inoichi approached Okami and patted his head. "That was a good display of skill, Okami-kun. A bit harsh with the crotch attack but still, it was excellent. Does Caterpie's String Shot slow down enemies? And if it does, it stacks as well?"

"Yes, Inoichi-ojisan. That was why my Vulpix was able to hit him time and time again because his reflex was slowed down by my strings."

"A good display of Ninjutsu. What about the last skill? What kind of Taijutsu was that?"

"It was an upgraded form of Tackle. It only happens when one absorbs two Pokemon having the same skills."

"Can you still do the test?"

"Sure. We can try Vulpix. It has Flash Fire."

"What does it do?"

"It makes one immune to fire-based Ninjutsu, and the target's fire-based Ninjutsu's damage will increase as well."

Hiruzen and Inoichi both looked surprised when they heard Flash Fire ability. They thought that with this ability, they could easily take advantage of ninjas who usually use fire-based Ninjutsu.

"How about you try attacking my Vulpix, Hokage-sama? This way you can confirm if this ability is true or not."

Hiruzen agreed and commanded everyone to disperse far away from him. Facing the unsuspecting fox which was playing on the ground, he did some hand seals and shouted, "Fire Style: Fire Breath Jutsu!"

Large beams of fire protruded out of Hiruzen's mouth, extending towards the wide-eyed Vulpix. Soon enough, the Pokemon was engulfed in intense flames, and everyone could feel the scorching heat from the Fire Release.

Okami was nervous despite the Pokemon App's assurance that Vulpix had the Flash Fire. He was about to check on his Pokemon when the Pokemon App was shining.

Vulpix is being subjected to intense heat coming from a very strong individual. Because of Flash Fire, Vulpix is undamaged. Discovered traces of power comparable to the Fire Stone, which can help alter the Pokemon's gene as long as Flash Fire is active. Needed another ten attacks of the same degree of power to evolve Vulpix to Ninetales.
