"Good morning, Inoichi-ojisan." Okami greeted him as he bowed towards the trio. "How can I help you?"

Inoichi summoned his Zubat. "I want to have a deal with you, Okami-kun."

Shikaku coughed lightly. "Good afternoon, Kakashi. That was too straightforward, Inoichi. Care to introduce us to the kid first?"

Kakashi chuckled as he took out his perverted book and started reading.

"Oh, that was careless of me. Okami-kun, meet my long-time comrade-in-arms and friends: Shikaku Nara and Choza Akimichi."

Choza smiled. "Hello, Okami-kun. I am Choza of the Akimichi clan. I hope you can visit our Akimichi Restaurant. If you happen to have time to visit the place, just inform us and everything will be free for your first dining."

"Shikaku of the Nara clan. It is a pleasure to meet you, Okami-kun."

Okami bowed once again. "You were speaking about a certain deal, Inoichi-ojisan. How can I be of help to you?"

"Have you remembered the two Pokeballs from Professor Oak?"

"Yes."

"I told them about Professor Oak's gifts and they wanted to find out more about Pokemon. Is it alright with you if you can show them what a Pokemon is, Okami-kun?"

"No problem. May I have the two Pokeballs?"

Inoichi grabbed the Pokeballs from his inner pocket and gave it to Okami.

Okami inspected the Pokeballs and noticed that it was still uncontracted. He was aware that they needed his power to become a Pokemon trainer. He was not sure if he could get Pokemon Points after doing so simply because these Pokemon were considered rewards.

Visible concentrated chakra gushed out from Okami's body even though he did not willfully do it and enveloped the Pokeballs. He pressed the knobs and said, "Summon."

Two Pokemon appeared right before them. Mr. Mime was moving constantly as it pantomimed while shaking his hands. Drowzee stood still as he extended his stubby hands towards the trio.

Okami summoned the Pokemon app and checked the Pokedex entry.

Mr. Mime Male Level 1 Type: Psychic, Fairy Skill: Barrier, Confusion, Pound

Ability:

Technician - increases the power of moves - that are usually base 60 or below - by 50%.

Forewarn - Determines what moves a foe has. It gets stronger as Drowzee levels up.

Okami was surprised when he saw the Pokemon's abilities. Forewarn was a remarkable ability to have, and Technician worked well with weak Jutsus. He wanted to snatch the Pokemon from them and make them his own. Too bad that he had to comply with 'Professor Oak's' wish.

Inoichi and the rest looked at Okami as they saw the kid tinkering with the Pokemon App. After a few minutes, Okami shifted his attention back to them, saying, "Very good abilities."

Inoichi was surprised when he saw the Pokemon App disappeared and reappeared at his right hand. He looked at the screen and saw the details concerning Mr. Mime and Drowzee. Shikaku and Choza took turns in reading the details and was excited when they saw the information.

"How accurate are the things written inside the Pokemon App?" Inoichi walked forward and returned the Pokemon App to Okami.

"A hundred percent."

Shikaku gave the kid a knowing smile. "Forewarn is such a good ability. As long as I can make it stronger, then it is easy to know the Jutsus the enemies know beforehand. Much more the Technician ability, additional damage is always a great boon in every fight."

Choza looked at Shikaku. "So have you decided to become a Pokemon trainer?"

"After reading such details, I'd be a fool not to become one. Besides, it does not conflict with our clan's Jutsu."

"Indeed."

Okami knew what the trio wanted to happen. He himself would want to become a Pokemon trainer if I were in their shoes. "Is this the deal that you want with me, Inoichi-ojisan?"

"Yes, Okami-kun." Shikaku was the one to answer him as he stepped forward. "I intend to compensate you for your services and effort."

Choza agreed. "I plan to pay you for your work as well, Okami-kun."

Okami frowned when he was reminded of the limitations he had. "My chakra reserve can only sustain two Pokemon trainers every week, Skikaku-ojisan. You've got to choose who among you will be the first one to try. The other one will have to wait for next week to become a Pokemon Trainer."

"Oh. Am I the first one to become a Pokemon Trainer, Okami-kun?" Inoichi could not help but interrupt when he heard Okami.

"No, Inoichi-ojisan. My friend Naruto was the first one."

The trio looked at each other, surprised that Okami treated Naruto as his friend. They wondered what would the kid's reaction be if he found out about the monster living inside Naruto's body.

After Choza and Shikaku talked with each other, they both decided to give the slot to Shikaku.

Shikaku went forward and folded his arms on his chest. "Then let me be the first one, Okami-kun."

Inoichi and Choza stepped back to give space for them while Kakashi watched the scene with interest as he also moved away.

"Which Pokemon are you interested to have a contract with, Shikaku-ojisan?"

"Drowzee."

"Okay." Okami returned the Pokemon inside the Pokeballs and gave Shikaku the one containing Drowzee. "Inject your chakra inside the Pokeball, Shikaku-ojisan. When you are done, try contacting it through your mind."

Shikaku did everything Okami told him to do. After the second try, Drowzee eventually responded to his call.

{Are you the one who wants to have a contract with me?}

'Yes. Do you want to do so, Drowzee-kun?'

{I can feel the laziness in your family. I have a feeling that I will eat lots of dreams when I am with you.}

'Now I am starting to doubt if this is a good decision. Too bothersome.'

{Then I will be your partner. What is your name?}

'Shikaku Nara.'

{Can you give me a name?}

'Shikachu.'

{Thank you.}

Okami knew that the contract was successful because of the familiar sensation he felt just like when Naruto had a successful contract with Vulpix. He did some random hand signals and shouted the cringe lines as he slammed his right hand on the floor. Waves of dark pink chakra gushed out from the Pokeball and revolved around Shikaku. The silhouette of Hypno with his trademark pendulum was seen just above Shikaku's head. The chaos went on for about two minutes before the chakra and Hypno's image was absorbed by Shikaku. The Pokeball that contained Drowzee suddenly became ash.

Shikaku felt the connection with Drowzee and they became familiar with each other. He gave Okami a thankful look and said, "Summon: Drowzee."

Drowzee appeared before him. As soon as he saw Shikaku, the tapir Pokemon scurried towards his partner and hugged him. "Gah. Don't be clingy."

Drowzee ignored his complaints and rubbed his head onto Shikaku's waist.

"Okay, stop it, Shikachu."

This time, Drowzee complied and rubbed his tummy.

Okami smirked. "Shikachu's hungry. Better bring him with you to eat and show several foods to find out his favorite meal. This way, you can increase his level by one. As a rule, you can increase their levels by fighting with you or by eating. Your choice."

Shikaku massaged his temple as he found out he had another mouth to feed.

Drowzee looked at him mournfully as he held his tummy.

"Fine." Shikaku finally gave in and patted the Pokemon's head. "We are going to the Akimichi Restaurant to eat dinner. Would you like to join us, Okami-kun? Kakashi, if it's alright, you can also join us. Bill is on me, this time."

Okami accepted the invitation and looked at Kakashi. "Do you have time, Sensei? I wish you can join us."

Kakashi nodded. "I don't have anything to do tonight. Free dinner is always good."

"Then it's settled. Let us meet later at the Akimichi Restaurant, at 6:30 PM. I believe Kakashi knows the way." Shikaku unsummoned Drowzee and bade him goodbye as he went outside the house.

Choza and Inoichi bade their farewell and joined Shikaku. Soon the only people left inside were Kakashi and Okami.

"Sensei, can I ask Naruto to join us?"

Kakashi wondered how he came to befriend Minato's son but he was not against it. "Why not? Don't worry about money. I'll treat him tonight."

"Thank you, Sensei. Do you know where he lives? I want to invite him personally."

"I don't know where he lives. But it would be easier to find him in the Academy. He is in class right now, unless he escapes and performs pranks again."

After the house was locked, Kakashi brought Okami with him and led the way to the Academy. He then proceeded to the Missions Assignment Desk to fulfill Okami's request as he told the boy to wait at the lounge.

Soon, Okami saw Naruto walking alone in contrast with the other kids who were walking together in groups.

"Naruto!" Okami called him out as he waved his right hand.

Naruto followed the source of the voice and saw Okami. He grinned widely and scurried as fast as he could. "Hey, Okami. What are you doing here?"

"Do you want to eat dinner with me?"

"Sure. Will we be eating at Ramen Ichiraku?"

"Nope. There's a new restaurant I want to introduce to you, the Akimichi Restaurant. I know you'll like the place."

"Does it have Ramen?"

"I'm not sure..."

"I don't care what the dinner is as long as I can eat." Naruto gave an okay sign and was about to ask him when he noticed the masked guy approaching them. "Who is that weird guy?"

"My Sensei. Hatake Kakashi."

Naruto was wide-eyed when he heard Okami's reply. "You've got a Sensei?! Is he any good?"

Okami wanted to laugh but controlled his urge. "He is a Jounin, Naruto. Of course, he is good."

Kakashi rolled his eyes and went to read the Icha Icha.

Naruto frowned when he saw the book. His brows became narrower when he noticed how the forehead protector and mask covered his face. He moved his face near Okami's right ear and whispered, "He looks suspicious. Who knows what is behind the mask?"

Okami remembered the exact scene in the Anime when Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto discussed what was behind Kakashi's mask and laughed boisterously.

Naruto was displeased. "I am serious. He might be pretending to be a ninja."

Kakashi closed his book and cleared his throat. "Stop with the useless assumptions, Naruto-kun. You are still far away from becoming a Genin and you have the guts to disrespect a Jounin."

Naruto placed his hands akimbo and did his heroic pose. "I know I will become a Hokage in the future, much more a Genin. This time, I know that I am going to pass the exam. I know that I can do it."

Kakashi knew that it was Naruto's third time taking the exam. There was nothing more for him to do but wished him luck.

"Do not worry, Naruto. I am very sure that you will become a Genin." Okami assured him as he rested his hands on his head. "Trust me."

Naruto jumped as he clenched his fists. "Thank you, Okami. As a future Hokage, I know that I will pass such an easy thing. It would be embarrassing for me not to overcome it."

Kakashi wondered if Okami was just consoling Naruto or was truly serious. What made him flustered was the way Okami structured his sentence - Naruto becoming a Genin but never saying that he would pass the exam.

The trio walked along the street with Naruto's constant shouting, Okami's laughter, and Kakashi's sighs.

The restaurant was already filled with diners as lots of chattering sounds reverberated across the area.

A worker was busily collecting the orders of the customers when he saw six prominent people walked inside. Delighted, he waved his hands to the people who arrived.

"Hello, everyone. It is rare to see all of you together, Shikaku. What's the occasion?"

"Hello, Goku. We have a special guest tonight." Shikaku shifted his gaze towards the kids and said, "Ino-chan, Choji-kun, Shikamaru, greet your Uncle."

"Hello, Goku-ojisan!"

Goku Akamichi laughed merrily as he heard their unified greetings and greeted them back. He took them to the place Choza reserved earlier and left them after taking their orders.

All of them took a seat and waited for their food. Soon, someone entered the room and whispered on Shikaku's ear. He was surprised when he heard Kakashi and Okami together with Naruto.

"Hey, children. One of your classmates will be eating with us."
