《The Deal of Tyler Mouret》-The Underworld- Chapter 8*

"Alone again, I don't show it, but I think I'm starting to appreciate the human, it gives me company" since my father has started socializing with the other lords in the territories around us, the house started feeling more empty, and it's not like I have something against the servants, but that is what they are, servants, except for Gertrude... I guess I will go for a walk, I still remember when father sent it to build for mom.
"Je, He got her out of the house for days just to make the labyrinth" Even so I still have to keep him from finding the human, that is why I gave the enchanted salamander to Tyler, it avoids the detection from the waves his soul make here be it by an animal or spirit besides the author of the hex, what worries me is the enchantment disadvantage, it makes the recipient in a parasite, it begins uniting with the body until it destroys it or the host can control it, but that is only if the will of the host is very strong— Well I don't think that will happen, it's going to be fine, besides is an Elemental Salamander, those creatures are extremely stable with the energies around them, be it magic or anything else.
I got to the garden and sat at the fountain in front of the entrance to the labyrinth.
"I wonder how he survived to the influence of so many spirits in his body, I saw him transformed in a wraith or a possessed warrior, either way, I am still surprised, he can travel between dimensions and resist the influence of condemned spirits, this intrigues me more each day, and ¿what the heck is a videogame?" I think I will go to the city today.

I got out of the mansion, not before taking a dagger with me and inconspicuous clothing, I can be nobility, but there are other territories that with no doubt kill a pure breed for its soul, that is why my father is trying to gain alliances around us.
I arrived at the city market, busy as always, it doesn't matter much, the residents are neutral spirits, the condemned are at the borders of the city working as slaves or normally but with their restrictions depending on what they did when they were alive, and whores working in the alleys like they were normally, there is no difference between the Earth and this place, but in the aspect of culture and development we look like the feudalism of the XVIII century, in transition, I can say for sure I envy the technology the humans have now, I didn't have problems before, but hearing Tyler say a word I didn' know before make me feel we were underdeveloped, that my family was behind in progress if only I could get that technology, this place would flourish like a real Kingdom, a Dominion, I guess I can start by asking Tyler for petty things first, but if there is something I want, is to get out and know something else, even Earth, that is why I asked for a flower.
Here in the Underworld flowers are almost nonexistent, we have a garden, but the plants in there don't have any flowers, there are trees and medicinal plants and with other uses, sometimes I read botanic books, they have detailed images of flowers I have never seen.
— I only have to wait for that fool, well, let's see what the bakery has today —I entered and in the counter was a big guy with a belly comparable with its size— Hello Fred, ¿what do you have for me today?.

— ¡Princess! To what do I have the honor of your visit.
— You know perfectly why, I came for that wonderful Apple pie only you can do.
— Oh, well, there is one that was finished just now, ¿would you like a piece?.
— You already know the answer.
— Jajajaja, I will put it in a box for you to take.
— You know Fred, I would like to know how to make cakes, but even if I know I would still keep buying you.
— You flatter me Princess Aishti, let me tell you something, take the pie, is on the house, here you go —He gives me a small box with a delicious aroma.
— Thank you very much, Fred, I will see if I can bring you something good, ¿what do you think?.
— I would feel honored Princess.
He is the baker here, but he only knows some recipes, I think I could give him some from the library. My mother loved his cakes too, we usually buy him one when we passed by the city, my father loves the chocolate one, but for that one and every sweet, the city must grow every ingredient and those are pretty scarce, considering where are we, almost no one knows how we get these ingredients here, but the truth is that every one of them was transmuted from other plants and animals, to make even one, we need 20 of a certain one, so the first days this process was expensive and almost gives us money problems, but we found out we could farm the seeds and this decreased the demand. It normalized with time, now we possess plants and some of the more meek animals from Earth, this stopped the consumption of human souls that the ancient demons do, this permitted the use of human spirits to work for us, as workers or slaves.

The Fundamentals
You hear of many tales out there. Some depict worthy heroes wielding tremendous power, noble personas that fight to save the lives of their close friends, family, and all the rest. Good triumphs over evil, that is simply the way the world works, no? While this premise is something inherent to nearly all stories, what exactly the heroes used to attain success can differ greatly. Perhaps they've trained themselves to the limit, pushing past boundaries nobody else could hope to achieve. Others still, have merely inherited the grand legacy of another legendary being, but what they have done with such a legacy would cause their names to be passed on for generations. Rowan is one of the heroes who have ventured beyond the horizon, tempering themselves on a perilous journey all the while and succeeding in attaining strength beyond measure. However, in an unexpected turn of events, this strength caused him to tear open and fall through a hole in the realm he resided in. Now he has ended up in a completely foreign realm, whose inhabitants utilized strange powers that eclipsed his own. Fortune would smile upon him this day, however, as he discovered that they were not hostile, and even offered to teach him their ways. Rowan could see that this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and eagerly accepted their invitation to learn what would come to be known as: The Fundamentals.
