I woke up early in the morning and did some light exercise, after doing that I took a shower and ate breakfast. Just as I finished eating breakfast I heard a knock on the door.

"Ruki, open up it's me."

I opened the door and saw Naruto on the door.

"Why are you here so soon, there is still more than an hour left before our class."

"It's our 1st day of the academy, what's wrong with going there a little early. Stop being lazy and let's go."

"Sigh, ok wait I will tell mom that I am leaving."

"Mom, Naruto is here so I am going to the academy with him."

"Ok take care, honey."

We started walking towards the Academy. On the way, we saw a few more people that were heading towards the Academy but I couldn't recognize them.

After walking for a short while, both naruto and I reached the academy. There were not many students who had reached the academy yet.

We started to wander around the academy aimlessly. We saw a swing on the academy grounds so we went there. When we reached there we saw 3 boys surrounding a girl and bullying her.

"Hey, if you really are a Hyuga show us your byakugan." The tall kid said.

"If you don't want to show us then don't look at us." The fat kid followed.

"Yea, your eyes are creepy, you don't even look like a human." The skinny kid added.

"Yea, you look like a monster. A byakugan monster."

When I saw the girl, I immediately knew who she was. She was Hinata Hyuga the Hyuga Princess.

When she heard the boys she crouched down and started to cry. The boys started laughing when they saw her cry.

I looked at Naruto to see his reaction. He looked angry just as I expected.

"Why are you standing here go and help her."

"I was about to even if you didn't tell me."

I didn't want to steal his spotlight so I just stood far away without doing anything. After all, this was the moment Hinata started to develop feelings for Naruto. As his friend, I couldn't ruin this moment.

Naruto reached near them and yelled. "Hey, stop it!"

When the boys heard him, they turned around and looked at him. Hinata also slowly raised his head to look at Naruto.

The tall kid sneered. "Who are you to tell us what to do?"

"I am the future Hokage of the village."

The kids started laughing when they heard Naruto.

The fat kid started laughing "Haha, you are a funny kid. A puny little kid like you will never be anything in life."

"You are stupid aren't you?" The skinny kid asked.

"Just shut up and leave, don't force me to make a move."

"Ohhh… help us, we are so scared. Haha, stupid little kid, what are you going to do?" The tall kid asked.

"Sigh, I didn't want to do this."

Naruto immediately rushed towards the three of them.

The three kids didn't have any fighting experience so they became startled when they saw Naruto rushing towards them.

Before they could even react Naruto punched the tall kid on the face and sent him crashing onto the ground. He turned to the side and punched the skinny kid on the stomach.

The skinny kid immediately started throwing up and fell on to the ground while gasping for air. The fat kid saw this and became scared to death. He fell to the ground and started crawling away from Naruto while crying.

"I am. I am sorry please forgive me, please don't hurt me."

Naruto sighed, "Just take your friends and leave."

Hinata was very surprised by the sudden turn of events. She was still processing what was going on.

Naruto walked towards her, crouched in front of her, and asked. "Hey, are you fine? Are you hurt somewhere."

Hinata became embarrassed when she saw Naruto's face so close to her.

She immediately stood up and she couldn't make eye contact with Naruto because of embarrassment. She bowed a little and thanked him.

"Umm, Thank you very much for saving me."

"It's fine those assholes deserved it. If you are fine then I guess I will leave."

Naruto slowly started walking back towards me. He came to me and laughed.

"It felt good to finally win my first fight. Just you wait, I will beat you soon enough."

I completely ignored what he said and replied. "That girl likes you."

He was extremely taken back by my words.

"Who…what are you talking about?"

"I can tell by the way she looks at you. She likes you. So how about making her your girlfriend, she looks cute."

"Shut up idiot, why don't you go and find yourself a girlfriend."

"I mean I would but, who should I date?"

"I don't know, go and ask someone else. Let's go to the class, it's about to start."

I didn't say anything more on the topic and followed him to the class. After we reached the class, I and naruto went to the last desk and sat there.

"Hey, why are we sitting on the last bench, the front desks are empty."

"It's a habit from my old school."

"What do you mean old school, this is your 1st day at the school."

"Oh sorry, did I say habits from the old school, I meant to say, just shut up and sit down."

"Rude bastard, I will teach you a lesson someday."

One by one the students slowly started to come to the class.

I was checking if my involvement in this world had already caused some major changes in the plot or not.

Hinata came to the room and took some side glances at Naruto, she went to the other side of the room and sat there. Then I saw the trio of Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji enter the room.

The three of them looked the same and I couldn't sense some changes in their personalities. Shikamaru still looked tired and bored. Choji was fat and Ino was... just there.

Slowly other students like Kiba, Shino, and Sakura entered the room. They also didn't seem to be any different than I expected.

The only thing that was a little different was that Naruto didn't seem interested in Sakura. Instead, he was sneaking some glances at Hinata.

But the main character I was waiting to show up was still not here.
