Sasu solemnly entered into one of the empty class. It was different. The desk, the seats, the room, the air. It was all so different! Sasu approached a table, allowing his hand to slide across as a wave of nolstagia washed over him.
"It seems I missed such a life."
He looked to the upper corner to the right of the room. His eyes gazed at the sunlight which shun into the room from the, a new evening sky. Approaching the steps he took a breath as he headed to the back of the class where the higher seats are. Schooching over he slid to the seat nearest to the window.
'Ahhh even this other wordly sun feels nice.'
His head fell back allowing the sun light to hit his face. From the increasing ease in his face. In the tranquility the sun bought this evening he felt all of his vexation, simply fall away. It melted from his face as only tranquility was left.
'Why couldn't every day continue like this?'
Sasu could not agree more when its been said sleeping in the rays of the evening sun were the clearly the best thing life had to offer. Also anyone could do it! With the respiteful ambience he lay forward soon fast asleep on the desk.
~~~~~~
Two girls walked through the hallways of the academy talking about the small talk of some jonin and that small talk was about.
"Hey has your father taught you the trick to throwing kunai?"
"No but did you hear those jonin? Kakashi got done in by the villages most unpredictable ninja at a young age! Its surprising for a Benin to even manage to lay hand on a jonin much less his fingers!" She laughed
"Right! but the thousand years of death is a little bit much.. Isn't it?" A bit grossed out by the technique. 'Who makes a technique to impale another mans ass?'
"Well I guess you are right but would you like it if he had done it to you instead? And if he does it to everyone then the barriers and principle built will all be torn down!"
Holding her ass she said "Right, I'm good!"
"Hey what's that over there?" Pointing at a person in a near by classroom to their own.
Looking in direction of the finger her friend pointed she found a boy up in the back of the class. She followed her friend inside.
"Hey! This isnt our class maybe we should call him from here!?"
"Come on. He isnt suppose to be in here either stop being a stick in the mud!" She quickly entered and began disturbing the boy.
"Stop! You will get us in trouble!"
"Not if your loud mouth does first. now help me wake him up."
After a bit of hesitation she prepares to approach the boy but soon as she takes a step she notices the boys movement.
The girl nearer to him clearly surprised let out a surprised "ah"
~~
Pov change ~~
Ugh
Hearing a loud voice as someone else tapped at him and poked his head and finally rubbed him he could no longer endure. His head lifted from the table. His gaze fell on the two who caused his rest to come to an unfortunate end.
"What can I help you with?" He said impatiently. As he had just been woken up via an uncomfortable method his rude reaction was within reason. On his mind now was who disturbed his sleep? And getting them to leave. Why they disturbed him was of far less concern.
Coming out of her surprise the girl nearer to him drew a kunai and put it in a reverse grip before stabbing down. Sasu reacted by avoiding the kunai and grabbing her wrist before he snatched the kunai from her before rotating it and thrusting it at her neck. She immediately starts signing her low genin rank jutsu taught by the academy to all genin in attendance.
As soon as the kunai cut into her flesh blood spray from her neck before her body was covered in smoke and with a poor she disappeared before the smoke vanished and at the end of the kunai was a textbook. Sasu glanced over to see the girl he killed still alive. though he was frowning he was mentally relieved.
"You're pretty good! Even though you had only woke up just then your response and reaction were really fast too I like your style." The girl said smugly.
"Thank you and your Kawarimi was perfect! I know this may be abrupt and maybe odd as well but.. Can you teach me?"
"Hmm... Sure! Its not odd to want to gain power." She said proudly as she hopped from the top of the desk. Switching places with the textbook left her there. "I am Enai. This is my friend, her name is kiriya, you will be learning the Kawarimi from me." She offered her hand.
"Sasu." He accepted the hand of the seemingly cheerful Enai and waved to a kiriya who appeared to have given up and decided to stand back on this matter at a desk across from the two as she returned a friendly wave.
Enai raised an eyebrow at his name but said nothing. 'I did say just my first name' she said to the boy. "Well we came back because I forgot something but I'm not at all tired and seeing as we are on school grounds we could use the arena is that ok?"
Thinking he'd just met one of those crazy battle maniac's he loved to read about he allowed a small smile on his countenance. He slid out of his seat and stood up as he flexed a bit. His arms, his legs, hands, shoulders, and finally his neck allowing a loud crack to sound in the room.
"Yea, I'm ready. Lead the way."
This other world is apparently easy. Really easy. Those thoughts in his mind Sasu followed beside Enai with kiriya in tow.
Myth of The World's Trees
And Simon answered their call with a single statement that nobody understood "Et super mos absit hoc hodie!" "Yah!" "WWWaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!" "AAAlllllaaaaallllaaaaallllaaaa!" "EeEEellllleeeeeelllllleeeeeeuuuuuuu!" I, too, yelled a battle cry at the top of my lungs. I had no idea what Simon had just spouted but from Camilla's giggling, I could guess that Simon thought that spouting nonsense was his way of getting out of the earlier predicament. "I forbid death upon this day," Camilla said. "What?" I answered a bit at a loss. "Ancient Latin," she replied smugly, "He said 'I forbid death upon this day'." I laughed aloud "Then he is gonna be really disappointed in everyone here," Camilla did not reply and instead took a deep breath. I did the same, zoning out everything in my surroundings. The environment became a world of electrical pulses traveling across several networks. I perceived the world through my lightning and sped my heartbeat to inhuman levels. I was present now, at this moment, at this point in time. I could feel the electrifying air saturating my lungs, the electrified ground vibrating at the rhythm of the approaching enemy. Then I took a step forward, everyone followed in tandem. Camilla the first, and then the others. Then I took a second step, and this time everyone followed simultaneously. Third step… Fourth step… Fifth step… Then light jogging… Speeding up… Running … Running faster…. Then suddenly, everyone disappeared into motes of light particles that re-constructed itself hundreds of feet above the horde, dozens of miles away from our initial position. We were literally 'diving' into battle.-------------------------------------------------------------------Despite a rough childhood in the slums, Omari had everything a guy could want - a loving girlfriend, an understanding sister, a wonderful teacher, and his dream job. Letters from a Dying World
Times historic are often penned after the fact in the lifeblood of the pitiful, forgotten masses. That roiling, uncountable crush of humanity, they who held the pikes and they who threw down the tyrants. Their veins opened by gazes academic, sharp and cruel, and pecked away at with quills, written out of their own story. The Second Dark Crusade was a time of such poignancy. A time when the light of man waned and flickered, choking in the acrid smoke of its own inadequacy. As befitting of such an age it has been covered more than a capital whore, and so I attempt not to tell that story again. That story of dull, unfeeling analysis. Neither here will you find the browbeating, propagandistic screeds so common in the hands of men, the light of youth still burning behind their eyes. Nay, here I shall attempt to cover fresh ground, not tread on the grave dirt of long dead authors. Here I shall attempt to tell the story of the small lives caught, unbeknownst to them, in the great and torrential downpour that we now call history. Here lies the true story of The Second Crusade. - Loremaster Ip'Qal
