《A human's tale》A costly victory

Rayhan transformed into a super-human and zoomed towards the demon with the highest power level. He had to finish the burly demon as soon as possible. Otherwise, there could be serious consequences. The red-colored demon with a power level of 950 grinned as Rayhan was charging at him. He shot a purple beam at Rayhan from his horn. Rayhan easily dodged it and gutted the alien in the stomach. The demon flew for 20 meters and hit the mountain. The mountain shook and debris fell. The demon was shocked at this human's power.
"How is this possible? No one should have the power to content against me except the old kami." The demon asked.
'So stronger demons had not attacked due to the presence of old kami' Rayhan concluded. But he didn't have the time to converse with the demon. So, without answering he started pummeling the demon. Although, Rayhan had the power advantage. It would take some time to kill the demon as the difference in power was not massive.
The super-human transformation was incredibly useful against demons as it had been derived from the demon-killing fist. Rayhan and the red demon fought as Rayhan had the overwhelming advantage. He didn't give the demon a single second of a breather and went all out.
Fanfan did not have much battle experience. But she had been extremely diligent in her training and with help of super-human transformation. She was barely able to go up against her superior foe. She was being pummeled and trash-talked. The demon who didn't know that Fanfan was stalling for the time did not know that she appreciated the fact that the demon was wasting time threatening her.
Five minutes passed like that and her ki had depleted and her body was full of injuries. She stood up from the rubble and swallowed the Senju bean that she had been keeping in her mouth.

She started getting pummeled again but this time she had adjusted to the rhythm of the fight. So, this time she was better off than the last. Their fight continued as Fanfan started to stall for time.
Master Tiger, However, was getting beaten quite severely. He had already taken 2 Senju beans. His mastery of super-human transformation was not that good as well as his power level was not adequate. So, he was barely able to stall.
Annin and Ray were surprisingly doing good against a stronger foe. They were successfully wearing down the enemy.
Mutaito was surrounded by a lot of low-level demons. He had slaughtered them. So, they had banded together to deal with him.
It had already been 10 minutes since the war had started but there were already countless casualties.
The red demon was on its last leg when Rayhan used the 'spirit sword' and punctured a hole through the demon's head. Rayhan's ki had been depleted. He sensed the battle situation while swallowing a Senju bean and rocketed toward his master. His master was on verge of death this time.
Master Tiger was on the verge of death. He was not able to eat a Senju bean because both of his hands were broken.
'Is this how I am going to die? Tsk. If I could just finish the demon off before I died. I didn't have much to live on anyways. I am sure my disciple will take care of this mess. I took in a good disciple' Various thoughts were passing through his mind. Meanwhile, the black-colored small demon was about to deliver his final blow.
Suddenly, the demon's head blew off into pieces. Rayhan had attacked the demon with full power after sensing his master's condition.
After that, he fed a Senju bean to his master and told him, "Master. Help Mutaito. I am going for others."

Fanfan was in better condition than master tiger. Her opponent had been exhausted and she was quite happy with her performance. She saw a blur at a distance coming toward her. She had instinctively known that it was Rayhan. In a fraction of a second, Rayhan drilled his hands through the chest of the demon and the demon died immediately after that.
"Fanfan, Help the others." As he commanded he flew to the next demon and finished it off similarly.
He checked the battle situation and he was shocked. It was far worse than he had thought.
The martial arts standard of earth had been declining recently. Also, the low-tier demons were slightly more powerful on average this time which caused 500 people to die in 10-15 minutes.
He launched himself toward the demons and finished them off with his greatest strength. He cleaned them up in 1 minute and finally sighed. It was a costly victory.
He saw a familiar face dyed in blood and seconds from dying. It was Okami. He quickly fed him the Senju bean and went to check on the other survivors. He saved 5 others but they were not able to see who saved them. Since he immediately vanished.
However, Okami despite being barely conscious had recognized that Rayhan had saved him. His gratefulness for Rayhan only grew more.
It was an absolute victory but it was a costly one. The martial arts standard of the earth was going to decline once again.
Back at kami's lookout.
Kami slumped on a chair and thought, 'Mr. Popo could have gone help but as the teacher of the guardian of earth, his duties lay elsewhere. He will only act if absolutely necessary. Rayhan has been a boom to this world. I hope he keeps doing good. I can't imagine what will happen if he turned evil '
"Mr. Popo, When can we remake the seal? We need to make the seal stronger." Kami asked.
"Popo, strong than before. The seal, also much stronger. Don't worry." Mr. Popo said with an expressionless face.
After that, the lookout flew toward the northern region and Mr. Popo and Kami started sealing the gate with some kind of mud.
Karin sighed in relief and remembered that once he had asked Rayhan why he wanted to become stronger. Rayhan had simply answered with "What if the demons invade? The stronger ones." That answer had become reality.
Karin had lived long and his master who had lived even longer had told him of even bigger dangers that lurked in some dimensions which were connected to the earth. He felt a bit of urgency in his heart due to that thought. He decided that he would come up with a better training program for Rayhan.
Mutaito was happy that the demon's invasion had been overcome but he somehow felt bitter about the fact that his rival had far surpassed him. Mutaito had sensed his rivals ki and it was indescribable. The disciple, Okami, who he had not paid much mind to previously had stayed at Rayhan's place and improved at an unbelievable level. Today, his performance had been only second to Mutaito's own. His closed-door disciples had performed adequately but nowhere near Okami's level. So, he felt a pang in his heart and lost the will to strive forward.
Earth gained its tranquility again.
Rayhan and his family went back to the serene valley and resumed their lifestyle.

Spirits of Eternity(A cultivation story based on spirits)
There are many after Liv, for what she can do. Spirits flock to her and help her, while the rest of the world captures them and uses their power with abandon. Liv set forth to find the truth behind her parents’ death, after their final message. After hearing their voice, Liv was offered a decision. Live safely, or be the best. Just like someone from the past, Liv decided to step towards strength. The magic system in this world is based on a few types of energy: Note(for Songs), Will(for Thought), Mana(for ordinary magic, because I felt like it), what is referred to as 'energy' here(for talking to spirits), and Dominion(for Aura). This is still a work in progress. Any suggestions are welcomed. This and my other work, Monsters as Men, are set in the same world. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
