《A human's tale》Planet Namek

Year 560.
There were a few things that Rayhan had planned that he would do years ago but he had not done it yet. One of them was to go to Planet Namek and convince Grand Elder Guru to let him use the dragon balls. He didn't want to force them. They were a peaceful race, he wanted to let them have their peace.
He also didn't want to have his mind read. It was an uncomfortable thought. Rayhan had guessed that with his power level, Guru would not be able to read his mind properly but he was not so sure about that. So, he asked King Kai to bestow him with technique to shield his mind. King Kai was a million-year-old god and had seen countless civilizations evolve and extinct.
So he had known few of such mind-related techniques. King Kai had claimed that such techniques were rare and were suitable for the race that developed them. That did not mean Rayhan could not learn it. The technique that King Kai gave him was called 'Void thought'.
It was an incredible technique. It helped creatures of that race to shield themselves from mind attacks. However, It had a secondary function that was in line with Rayhan's requirement for a technique. It helped hide his memories and thoughts into a much deeper level of his mind.
'Perhaps, If this technique is practiced to its greatest potential, it just might help a person keep his memories in his soul.' Rayhan thought. He knew that souls could carry memories. He was living proof of that.
He practiced this technique for a year. It was an incredibly difficult technique for Rayhan because this technique was only suitable for the race that had developed it.
Next, He just needed an excuse to visit the Namekians. He could not just barge in and ask for Namekians Dragon Balls. He would have to become friends with them first if he wanted to use the dragon balls without violence. So, he thought of an excuse to visit them.

Year 561.
"Hey Kami, Do you want to go to your home planet and meet your kind?" Rayhan asked abruptly.
Kami showed an expression of longing for a while but finally sighed, "I can not leave earth for a prolonged time."
Kami had once told him his story of waiting for his parents in Yunzabit Heights and how King Piccolo was born. So, Rayhan knew how much he longed to see his parents and his kind. Naturally, Rayhan would take advantage of this piece of knowledge.
"Oh, Don't worry. I will tell them about you. I will get the info about your parents. I will tell you what kind of people the Namekians are when I come back. Consider this as a friend helping out." Rayhan said. He didn't consider Kami his friend yet but Kami was a chill dude and Kami was a useful person. Rayhan could ask for help in matters of the other world with him.
Kami had numerous thoughts going through his mind but he didn't know what to say to Rayhan. So, he simply said, "Thank you Rayhan."
Next Rayhan started integrating his gravity machine into the spaceship.
One month later, Rayhan punched the coordinate 9045XY into the spaceship and left the atmosphere. This spaceship was the one he had come back in from the headquarter of the galactic patrol force and he had gotten the coordinates from King Kai.
His journey was a month-long during which he trained like usual. Seeing the never-ending cosmos, he had decided on a wish.
Planet Namek had three suns, so it was never nighttime. Despite this, the planet had a dark side. The planet is tidally locked to the star group, resulting in the lack of a day and night cycle. The Namekians lived on the daylight side of the planet. There were only 66 people on the planet.

Rayhan had deduced this after observing this planet for 3 days. He didn't just want to barge in. He wanted to check if Namekians were hostile towards outsiders in this period. He deliberately let his ki leak during these 3 days. But no one came to chase him off. So, he decided to visit a settlement of 10 people.
"Guest, What is the reason for your visit to our home?" A chubby dark green Namekian, with a red vest, a white-collar, white pants, and brown shoes asked.
"I was running an errand for the galactic patrol force. My spaceship malfunctioned. So, I thought that I might well visit the home planet of a friend as it was nearby." Rayhan replied.
This Namekian frowned and suspiciously asked, "And who might that friend be?"
"Oh. We call him Kami. He is a nice guy. He looks just like you. He is a bit taller and younger. Also, has a different dressing style." Rayhan said a bit jokingly.
"There is a Namekian outside? Impossible!" exclaimed the namekian.
"I told you the truth. It is up to you if you believe me or not." Rayhan said keeping his hands in the air.
"Tell me about this Namekian" Requested the namekian. Other 5 Namekians had surrounded them as they looked curiously at Rayhan.
He then told him about Kami. He told him how and when Kami had arrived on the earth. It matched with the time when Planet Namek had been destroyed. He also told him how the spaceship had opened when Kami had said "Piccolo". After that, he told them about Kami's life and such. During the conversation, Rayhan learned that the chubby namekian was called Moori and was the elder of the small village.
Rayhan could sense that Moori had not trusted him fully. Moori didn't send anyone to inform Guru as Rayhan had expected. He stayed there for a month and understood more about the Namekian lifestyle and combat techniques.
He went to other villages one by one but he didn't stay long in each village. He wanted to know more about Namekians because they were a peculiar group of existence.
Finally, he arrived at Grand Elder Guru's house.
It was a house that was built upon a high rock.
Rayhan had expected there to be guards around the most important person on Namek but there were only children playing around.
He knocked on the door.
"Come in. I have been expecting you." A voice sounded.
Rayhan opened the door and walked in. He saw an incredibly large Namekian. He seemed morbidly obese. He was sitting stationary on his throne-like chair and had his eyes closed. The patches on his body were a dark orange color, as opposed to the brighter yellowish color seen in other Namekians.
"Greetings Grand Elder Guru" Rayhan said as he bowed slightly.
Guru didn't speak for a long time and finally spoke, "I heard about the son of Katas. It was fortunate that he survived. Also, thank you for helping one of our kind."
"It was my duty to protect my home at that time" Rayhan replied.
Rayhan retold Grand Elder Guru the story of Kami and told him the details that he had not told other Namekians.
As they started chatting, Rayhan got to know more about the history of the planet Namek.

Delicate as Glass
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Nuri, an [Assistant Glassworker], only has a single Skill. It’s really not fair. He’s worked in the hot shop his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps after his parents passed away, but he’s stuck. Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Besides, he’s bored; most days he daydreams of adventure and becoming a hero, or pines for the renown that’s sure to be his if he evolves his Class into a [Master Glass Smith], but nothing ever changes—until suddenly, fate strikes, and nothing is ever the same again. These days, Nuri sees more magic, prestige, and adventure than he can handle as he gets swept up in realm-shaking conspiracies and desperate fights for his life. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!

I'm not an experienced, and don't consider myself a good author in any way. But hopefully some people will enjoy this fiction like I do writing it, regardless of that.
