《Moonlight Sword Sect》Yura (2/2)

"A-ano…" The boy, who was looking at the goddess flicking my forehead, mutters as he saw my red forehead. He was worried that blood will come out.
The goddess, who was shamelessly flicking my red forehead in public, looks at the boy and said, "Don't worry. This disciple of mine will not bleed, right?"
The goddess looks at me with a smile. Please, don't pretend that you don't know anything.
"Eh?" The boy was shocked by the goddess' response. "How did you read my mind?!"
Sigh, here we go again.
"Ahahaha…." The goddess covers her mouth as she giggles softly at the boy's words. "I did not read your mind ah?"
Shameless. Too shameless.
For a goddess who is revered by many, you are too shamele— Ah!
*Pluck!* Another flick resounded within the halls. It was the goddess once again flicking my head harder than before.
I look at the goddess with a furrow in my brows. As I cannot do anything right now, I can only look at the goddess with an angry expression.
Though even if I recover my strength, nothing will happen except me looking at the goddess with anger.
But that won't change the fact that the goddess won't stop teasing me.
Sigh… bad luck.
While looking at the goddess who was seemingly smiling at me, I retract my gaze from her and look at the pair instead. They were nervous due to the fact that everyone here within the hall is a higher-up.
Nah, just call them by their names. You don't need to be formal with them, right?
Wait...
Ah right, I too am also shameless when greeting and talking to someone that has a greater status than mine.
But who cares at this point? It's not like they asked me to be formal with them, right?
"Se-sect master." The boy, who was sitting, rose up from the couch and calls out the sect master. "I am now leaving the hall, pardon for my disturbance."
He then bows in front of us before turning back to the stairs leading to the second floor.
As he head downstairs, he looks at the girl before leaving. The girl, in turn, shivers as the boy looks at her. After being looked at, she looks to the floor with her hands both clenching.
She was guilty about something. Err… what is she guilty of?
"Little girl." The goddess, who constantly shamelessly reads my mind, heard my thoughts and calls out the girl who was guilty about something.
The goddess was serious this time. Her voice was serious and calm, devoid of any happiness nor sadness. She was dead serious.
"Ah!" The girl, who heard the goddess, suddenly exclaim in shock as she was startled by the goddess.
Quickly, the girl stands up from her couch before immediately bowing to the goddess. "Ye-yes?!" She was nervous while asking for the goddess' next words.

"What's your name?" The goddess asks the girl while directly looking at her head. Her thick black hair was covering her face, making impossible to see her expression.
"Y-Yura Arfhen!" The girl, Yura, shouts her name in a nervous tone. She was scared that she will be punished if she doesn't do what the goddess said to her.
Suddenly, the girl Yura notices that she shouted in front of the goddess. Quickly, she covers her mouth while bowing to the goddess.
"I see." The goddess, who realizes something, mutters softly. She was obviously reading the girl's mind.
The goddess, who was looking at the girl Yura, immediately retracts her gaze from Yura as she looks at the drinking sect master. "Jin, tell the 「Void Patterns Order」 master to immediately expel Yura Arfhen from the Order."
・・・
Wait a second.
Did... Did you just made someone's life in ruins without care?
What?
As the goddess drops down a bomb, the girl suddenly falls down while looking at the seemingly merciless goddess. She was looking at the goddess with a sense of hopelessness within her eyes.
Tch.
I grit both my teeth as I look at the hopeless Yura. How could you do this, goddess? You just ruined another person's life for the sake of your enjoyment.
Tch, foo— Argh!
Once again, the goddess flicks me on the forehead. Tch, this lady will never falte— Argh!
The goddess, once again, flicks my red forehead. Okay, I'm sorry. This lady will now be quiet.
"W-why?" The girl asks the goddess with her tears silently flows down her cheeks. She was asking why the goddess wants her to kick her out of her Order.
Indeed, why?
I look at the goddess' calm face. Despite her face covered by a thick veil, because of the light coming from almost every directions, I can vaguely see her eyes.
She was directly peering at my soul. She was the embodiment of a soul watcher, gazing directly to your soul as if I am her target.
The goddess was just looking at me normally and yet, I felt like she was directly looking in my soul.
It was a terrifying experience.
"That's why don't look at my eyes directly, okay?" I heard the goddess' gentle voice. She already knew what I have seen.
Out of fear, I nod back to her words. Likewise, the goddess nods in return as she smiles at me.
Once again, my forehead was being flicked by the goddess' fingers.
"Done." The sect master, who was communicating with someone through telepathy while drinking tea, suddenly spoke. His work was done.
I look at the others. Instead of pitying the poor girl, they were instead minding their own business. It was as if it was very much expected from the very beginning.
"Why you ask?" The goddess, who flicked my forehead, returns to her serious mode and began responding to the girl's question.

After speaking, the goddess summons a white card and gives it to the crying Yura as she teleports instantly to her side.
"That's because you are not suited for them." The goddess opens one of Yura's hand and gives the gray card to her while speaking. After giving out the white card to Yura, the goddess once again teleports at my side.
"Foolish disciple, I will pick you up now." The goddess happily carries me like a princess as we go to where the sect master and the others are.
"Disciple Eumi." Lux suddenly calls out Eumi's name as he looks at Eumi who's hugging the floor like a pervert.
In return, Eumi quickly stands up and look at Lux then at the goddess then at me who's being carried away like a princess.
"Eh?" Eumi, who saw me being carried away by the shameless goddess, quickly take glances between the floor she hugged earlier and me who's now away from her.
"Ah!" Like someone who suddenly had a Eureka, the foolish Eumi quickly head back to where the others are as she finally notices that what she had hugged earlier is a floor instead of me.
At the very least, the floor distracted the foolish Eumi right? If not for the floor, I would have been dead right now.
Death by being hugged, that is.
What a weird way to die.
As Eumi quickly runs towards the couches where the sect master and the others are, I take a quick glance at the seemingly hopeless Yura. Her head was looking on the floor, making it impossible for me to look at her face.
*Pat.*
I heard a soft sound of someone patting.
Slowly, I look above, only to find out that the goddess was the one that patted my head.
I'm not a child anymore…
…
Should I exclaim? Nah.
After patting my head, the goddess sits down on the couch. I look around, only to find out that we are beside the others playing cards against each other.
I look back and see Yura meters away from us. How?
Is the goddess really that fast to begin with? Or is it just me being stupid that I don't even notice that we are here?
Probably both.
Slowly, I think to myself about me crawling out from the goddess' hands as I go to a nearby couch to sit on. However, just as I was going to start crawling out of her hands, the goddess immediately tightens her grip around me, making certain parts of my body in pain.
"Don't move stupid disciple of mine. I'll heal your stupid body and brain." The goddess said as she moves my body to a nearby vacant couch and my head on her lap.
Err… even though I shouldn't be ashamed of this scene, why do I feel like this scene is a cliche scene from love stories?
Especially sho*jo stories.
I look above, only to see a pair of medioc— no, cute buns on the goddess' chest. They are not big like those monstrous ladies. They are also not so little and flat like a child's. It was perfect.
Slowly, I glance at my chest to see which is bigger. My buns or the goddess' buns?.
The result is…
Nah, it's a secret. I shouldn't casually speak things like these kinds of stuff. Very inappropriate.
Right?
As I further look above, I see the face of the goddess on the other side of the thick veil.
She…
She's like an otherworldly being, having such cold and demeanor face that can cause the downfall of empires and kingdoms. Yes, this lady is saying the truth.
Her face was an out-of-this-world kind of style. She did not wear any makeups nor have any tattoos on her face but rather, her face was clean and natural.
Truly, she was the embodiment of a true goddess revered by everyone.
Her eyes were both closed off while smiling at me. Despite that her eyes were closed, I could easily tell that she has another eye invisible among the naked eye.
Though that's just a hunch. Nothing else.
Err.. right?
Hmm...
Who knows?
However, despite her beauty, she's still shameless, rivaling almost no one.
"Wh-what is this?" I hear Yura muttering something. As I was piqued by her words, I look at her and saw that the white card on her hand was glowing.
As the card glows brighter and brighter, a winged-sword suddenly appears above the card, hovering as it pleases as the feathers slowly scatter around.
Surprised by the orb, Yura suddenly throws out the card as she was scared about what is going on.
*Clack!* The card falls down on the floor, reverting back to an original simple white card without the winged-sword hovering above the card.
Weird.
"Now, do you see why you are not suited to be a 「Void Patterns Order」 cultivator?" The goddess, who was patting my red forehead, spoke to Yura as if she knew about something.
Surprised, Yura looks at the goddess before thinking about something. She did not know what the goddess meant to her.
Haa… this…
"Since you did not get what I meant, I'll tell you about what I meant to you directly." The goddess looks at her before continuing, "You are better suited for something else; a hidden true-wielder."
"You are, after all, like Eidenweiss— a sword master."

Follow Alan through his adventures, and find out for yourselves how he deals with the challenges thrown at him by a new world, while struggling with the issues brought with him from his old one. * Author’s note: A fair warning. This is the first time I’ve published anything, and basically the first time I’ve written anything more than mandatory school-stuff. The story will probably have inconsistencies, grammatical errors (not my native tongue, though that excuse is getting old), and potentially confusing (missing?) plot. I will naturally do my best to write something worth reading, but my main goal in writing this story is to have fun and explore the limits of my own creativity. My hope in publishing it here, is that I’ll reach someone who enjoy the story, and can push me forward towards writing more, as it is difficult at times to find the motivation to write just for myself. Additionally, I can’t really promise to have regular updates, as I have a full-time job that often likes to take the ‘full-time’ part literally, and a sporadic social life that occasionally surprises me (happy surprises mostly, so I shouldn’t complain). I’ll aim for once a week to start with, and take it from there. Happy reading! Cover photo by Jeff Hire (/photographer/gun4hire-58415), from https://freeimages.com/.

Wasn't my new life in a magical world supposed to be easy?
Victor Norman died. And then he was reincarnated into another world by a powerful entity and given awesome skills. So far so good. He thought that fun days of adventure awaited him like any other protagonist that found themselves in a similar situation. He thought that he would be unrivalled and free. He thought that his new life in a magical world would be easy. So why is it that things are turning out this way? Hello, author here~. If you are willing to read this story, I'll warn that I am writing this story purely on a whim, with very little planning and purely for my enjoyment. I don't know how things will turn out but let's hope they will go well~. I will be giving my other story that will be rewritten and renamed later priority so there won't be consistent releases but I'll do my best not to drop it or put it on hiatus for too long. Beware that this story will (maybe) contain: gore (moderate amounts), profanity (moderate amounts), litRPG elements, (probably) logical plot holes. It won't contain (a lot of): politics, romance (mm, likely not much), harem. As for the warnings about gore, profanity, sexual content and traumatising content, I don't know what I will put in there so it's not necessarily true that they will be present. I do not own the picture. If you have the rights for it, please contact me and I'll take it down
