Chapter 31 Confronting The Bone Elder
“This way, miss. The Bone Elder is expecting you.” The underlings escorted me inside the compound where the smell of entrails ran rampant. They brought me to an area where a lot of humans were being hanged from metal hooks, some of them were still alive.
“Help… me.” I walked by this man who beseeched my aid. He was missing a leg, across his chest was marked number 53. The others I passed by also had sequential numbers written on their bodies.
“What do these numbers mean?” I asked the underling.
“Don’t concern yourself with our matters. Until the Bone Elder validates your identity, you’re not allowed to snoop into our business, got that?”
“Hum.” I nodded compliantly.
“Very good. Now come along. The Bone Elder is this way.” I was shown to a chamber secured with a bulky metal door. “I unlocked it. Now go inside.”
The underling didn’t follow me into the eerie chamber. The moment I entered, I identified the Bone Elder who these lower Demon Triads spoke so fondly about. He was the same old fart who molested me with his godly tongue, also the ancient pervert who bit off my nipple.
This disgusting Bone Elder was busy cutting out the organs of a young woman over by an operation table. He gouged into her body and withdrew her innards as if he was cleaning out a pig’s stomach. He was such a skilled practitioner. The way how he handled that woman’s corpse showed me how he enjoyed his job.
“Wo-ho-ho! I harvested some fresh goodies today. Surely these beautiful organs will satisfy our elite customers. Ho-ho-ho.” [Lick! Lick!]
This damn old fart was still nasty as ever. He whipped out a custom-made tongue from his head; used it to sucked away all of the blood which was dripping from his butcher knife. His tongue was similar to a komodo dragon’s. I could recognize the recent stitches at the joining of his original tongue which I had chewed off. Now he looked more like a bony demon with that very long grotesque tongue.

“Hmm…?” Finally, he noticed my presence in the room. I wasn’t wearing any disguise so my appearance was bare for him to see. “You there… are you that woman who claims to be the offspring of the Demon’s Horn?”
‘Ho? So he can’t see my face properly because of the improper lighting?’ Before I answer his enquiry, I started stepping forwards to where the ray of light was shining down on the operation table.
“Why don’t you validate my identity yourself?” I stepped into the light only a foot away from where the geezer was standing with his knife sliding between the slit of his modified Komodo dragon tongue.
“This voice seems familiar. Let me take a good look at you.” He picked up a glasses from the operation table; wiped off the smudge of blood before putting it on. “Let me see here. Huh?”
The moment he placed his hand on my jaw then stared directly into my eyes, he immediately recognized my identity.
“T-Tainted Scorpion!”
“Shush!” I flicked my hand forwards and grabbed this old bastard’s slippery tongue. I could tell that he was scared shitless by the audible wobbling of his legs coupled with the cricking of his old bones. “So you remember me, old geezer?”
“T-Ta… Ta… scorp…what zo you zoing here?”
His voice was too shaky for me to comprehend, hence I let go of his tongue then slammed the old bastards head on the operation table. [Boom!] The loud bang alerted the underling who was standing guard outside the chamber.
“Bone Elder? Is everything alright in there? I’m coming in…” [Creek!]
“No! Don’t come in here! Unless you want me to chop your fu*king head off!”
“A-alright. Sorry for the intrusion.” The underling quickly closed back the door and remained outside.
“Great job, old bastard. You just saved your underling from dying by my hands. If you don’t want to pay the penalty of your death, I suggest you tell me what I came here for.”

“W-what do you want, Tainted Scorpion? Did you come to kill me because of what I did to you in the warehouse? Please forgive me for what I’ve done. At that time I got carried away by my perverted emotions. Your body tasted so intoxicating, it made me unable to think straight. Please forgive me! Please!”
“Fu-hu-hu.” This old fart begged me to spare his miserable life. He must have been over a century old and yet he desperately clung to his ancient life. Just what did this bastard have to live for?
“Hey, bony geezer I will never forgive you for killing me that night. Luckily, I came here today seeking information instead of your life.”
“Yes! Yes! Anything, Tainted Scorpion. What information do you want?”
Seeing this geezer bending to my will, gave me a heightened sense of superiority. He resembled a large mosquito that I could squash whenever I damn well please. “Alright geezer. Take a look at this.” I showed him the photo of my diabolical mother. “Do you know this person?”
“Huh? Where did you get this photo?”
By the way, how he expressed himself, I knew he knew something. “It doesn’t matter where I got the photo. What can you tell me about my mother?”
“Your mother? Hm? Hm?” He glanced at the photo then at my face several times before responding. “What a shocking resemblance! I didn’t realize it until now. Tainted Scorpion are you perhaps that daughter who went missing along with the former general manager of Daltek Conglomerate a decade or so ago?”
“Went missing? Is that the story my mother told the public?”
“Of course! It was reported that you along with Tavares Keyheart went missing after going on a fishing trip at one of Arak Gold’s danger zones.”
“Fu-ha-ha-ha!” I began laughing hysterically. “Mommy, mommy, oh mommy. I can’t wait to meet you face to face. Hey geezer, tell me all that you know about my mother and make sure you leave nothing out or else the next thing you replace won’t just be your perverted tongue.”
“Yes! Yes! I won’t leave anything out.” I gave him the eyes of a crazy scorpion which made him spill every dark secret he knew about my mother.
……
[Whoosh!] After attaining the information of my mother’s whereabouts, I silenced the Bone Elder then left the slaughter-house. To my surprise, mother was still living at my father’s old residence which she took over after he died. She transformed it into her base of operations when dealing with the Demon Triad’s business.
I heard from the old fart that she was actually the mastermind behind the Demon Triad Inauguration into Arak Gold’s underground syndicate. It wasn’t surprising with her boundless ambitions. She did strip my father of everything he had, even his life. There was no way I wasn’t going to confront her now that I knew where she was.
“I’m going to look her the in the eyes and make her beg as I take her life away. After overcoming this hurdle I will finally be able to put my aching past behind me.”

His eyes had turned bloodshot and his hands shook with rage. “The first thirty…” “Shut up!” Genzo bellowed “How dare you help these disrespectful gaijin?” Flecks of spit and madness flew from his face, his fist raised ready to strike. But Emi did not flinch, instead she was about ready to continue when Yuma Takeuchi interrupted her. “Uchida, please,” her sweet sounding words could melt ice. “I think we will have a better chance of getting home if we all work together.” When she glanced up with her sleepy looking eyes at Genzo Uchida he deflated visibly. “Were not getting home.” Uchida said coolly. “Group summoning, large, that puts us in the 60 series. No one came to greet us after five minutes of arrival. That leaves scenarios 68 and 69. In scenario 68 there is something that binds the large group together; they are all classmates or a single family. But thanks to the gaijin” he spit out the word “I think we are scenario 69 with no way home.” Ikko Inoue’s eyes went wide, while Katsukno and Hayata started muttering to themselves. Tim took on a serious look and rubbed his scruffy chin. Emi maintained her stoic expression while trying to find something to refute. McKenzie glanced at Randall and giggled. Randall took the prompting of his teammate and followed up by approaching Genzo. “Uh, so we are in a sixty-nine?” “Yes.” Replied Genzo with the seriousness of someone who’s life was about to end. McKenzie covered her mouth and snickered. “You and me, were stuck in a sixty-nine situation?” Randall pushed with a grin. “Yes, we are all stuck in a sixty-nine scenario together!” Genzo retorted in anger. McKenzie fell on her butt laughing. “What the hell is so funny?” Demanded Genzo, whose face had turned red. “It’s a problem with the automatic translation.” Retorted Tim. Randall, who seemed unable to quit started in again “So, about this sixty-ni…” Genzo interrupted Randall with a swift punch to the face. But, because of their height difference it was a bit of an uppercut that left Randall rattled. Tim and Ikko moved to step in between the two, but Genzo showed no further hostility. Instead he just stared at his clenched fist with such intensity it grabbed the attention of the room. “I unlocked a skill.” He said bluntly. ***************************** This is not a light novel, but people who like light novels should enjoy the themes of this book. ***************************** A Map of the Region
