He took an auto directly to his home . He realized that it was summer break for school children as he found many children playing all sorts of games in the colony . He was familiar with most of them as he grew up in the same colony.

He remembered his childhood days and thought ‘ If possible I wish to go back being a child and forget about everything except playing .’ He scolded at his foolish fantasy and tried to open the door.

Soon he realized that he didn’t have the key. ‘That Grandma must have locked it.’ A smile crept on his lips and his heart became warm . He secretly noted his neighbor favor in his mind and decided to repay her many times when the opportunity came.

John slowly walked to her house to retrieve the house key . To his surprise when he arrived in front of their house ,he found her grandson was being beaten by his mother.

“Your teacher called me today and already informed me your actual marks .How dare you lie and tamper your marks card?”

12 year old kid didn’t speak back, only accepted his fate by drooping his head down. His Mom got more agitated as she took his silence as affirmation for his mistake. His grandma didn’t interfere and stood silently at one corner.

John felt deja vu when he looked at the child. As a bystander he couldn’t help but think ‘Why do parents teach their kids with punishment instead of rewards ? Kids are in the phase of establishing their Value foundation and parents role is vital but unfortunately most of the parents don’t have awareness and sufficient Value foundation to teach kids. As for as teachers are concerned ,how can they have time for a single kid ?’

Grandma noticed John in the mean time and went to give house key. John couldn’t help but smile when he saw his neighbor grandma . He quickly bowed and said

“ Thank you grandma . You saved my Mom’s life the other day .I really don’t how how to repay your kindness.”

Grandma immediately became happy when she found out that her little effort payed off “No problem kid ,I did what anyone would do at that moment . By the way tell me if you need anything ,I know your mother is in hospital .For the time being you can come here and have food . Don’t be shy”

John’s heart warmed when he listened her concern . He couldn’t reject her kind intention so, he nodded with a smile but secretly decided to not give her any more trouble . He asked in a low tone “Grandma can I tutor your grandson from next week? I won’t charge anything .Consider this as my way of repaying your kindness.”

If it was before John would never mention something like that . He would just receive others help as if he was entitled .But after so much of suffering ,he came to appreciate every small thing . He clearly understood that no one owes anything to a stranger and there is no obligation to help a stranger.

Grandma was surprised by the young fellow’s attitude. She had helped so many people in her life but very few people were as grateful as he was. She started to see him in a different light all of a sudden. “No need to waste your time . That little kid needs to learn to solve his problem otherwise when will he grow up?”

John was intrigued by her way of thinking but didn’t give up . “You are right grandma but in the early stages of life one needs a little support just like a small plant till it becomes large enough to tolerate wind and rain .”

Grandma was moved by his words and said with a smile “Seems like you have decided .I won’t insist on resisting your good intention . I will talk to his mother and send that kid next week.”

John became happy and nodded in return .As he returned to his home, a familiar voice resonated in his mind.

John couldn’t help but smile in response. ‘I just followed my heart and was not intentionally hoping for anything .Life is strange ,when you least expect something things happen automatically.’ He shook his head and went to study for exams.

In a luxurious office , a handsome man wearing suit was studying a report and an enchanting seductive women wearing a Secretary dress standing in front of his table. He let out a huge laugh after turning the last page .

“My cousin’s choice is astonishing .She rejected all my recommendations and finally went for a poor fellow who was suspended for cheating in a exam? My grandfather’s eyes seems already blurred . He did a good job matchmaking a toad and swan.”

If Carl or John was there at that moment they would be shocked because it was none other than Luke . Luke didn’t feel any pity for Erika’s choice in fact felt extremely happy .He finally had a solid opportunity to take down his cousin’s reputation openly .

Luke thought for a while and sneered “Maya , I need you to watch John closely .Make sure he doesn’t get a job and beg for money from my grandfather. I want to see him humiliated and live like dog .How dare he obstruct my plan?”

Maya nodded .She was used to doing odd jobs for her boss and had zero sympathy for John. She asked mildly “Should we stop picking on Erika for the time being?”

Luke nodded “Let her experience toad’s love. She has to suffer for rejecting my men . I would like to see her expression when she regrets her decision. Make sure that as usual she doesn’t meet any young men with good potential .If need be kill those who makes attempt to attract her attention.”

There was no rage in his tone only calmness. Even he didn’t know how many people he had killed so far .His only aim was to reach the apex in the business world and considered everyone including his parents as pawns that he can manipulate and dispose if need be .

Maya nodded in understanding. She suddenly became timid and asked shyly “Boss ,are you coming to my apartment today ?”

Luke got up with grin and slowly walked towards Maya .He loved seeing his secretary acting all shy in front of him . Of all the women he tasted, Maya was his favorite . He leaned towards the table and caressed her beautiful chin with his left hand while playing with her busty rear .

“Sure , if you want me to. What kind of surprise are you planning tonight?”

Maya didn’t have any other option to please her boss time to time because she knew if her boss loose his interest in her ,she would loose her job . She has secretly disposed many girls who had affair with her boss who has potential to threaten her position . She had grand ambition just like her boss and prepared to do anything to get there.

“It’s surprise ,you need to experience yourself” said Maya with a alluring tone.

Luke spanked her rear and said with a laugh “I guess I have no choice to find out tonight.” He knew all about Maya’s ruthlessness but he turned a blind eye . He needed people like Maya around him to reach his aim and had many ways to check her ambition if need be dispose her .
