Peter’s eyes suddenly brightened “ Young master I won’t go into details of Devata Realm as it is irrelevant for you as of now . But to satisfy your curiosity let me give you some idea .

Devata Realm is land of immortals filled with spiritual energy . A soul takes corporeal form when it enters the realm and can live eternally without any care . Unlike here there is nothing like male and female up there. All are just souls who don’t need to eat or go to job.

But everything is not rosy , unless you have powerful backing it is difficult to survive in Devata Realm. Although there is no natural death , a person can be easily killed . Once killed he would not reincarnate like in this lower realm but become nourishment for the spiritual energy in Devata Realm.

There are 3 superpowers in Devata realm. In a crude way one can classify them as good ,evil and neutral . You should not understand it by your literal definitions. Recently higher ups of Devata realm came up with 3 names to avoid confusion.

Sun school representing souls that follow kindness, honesty, integrity etc. , Moon school representing souls that follow treachery, murder etc. and Light school representing souls that doesn’t have any direction .

Till recently Sun school had your master as leader but when he ascended to higher realm ,he left behind a message saying that if his successor couldn’t make it to Devata realm within 1000 years ,then the elders of the sun school could choose a new leader but if he comes back then he will take over the position of new leader.

It is already been 990 years since the message was left behind and only 10 years remaining for you to claim the leader position. But it won’t be easy as you know Moon school and Light school are trying everything they can to take back your treasure. If you carelessly stepped into Devata realm, they will kill you at any cost.

Our sun school had dispatched countless of people to the lower realm to look for the object and if the need be to protect the person who is destined for that object. You are lucky young master ,first person you encountered from Devata Realm is me otherwise you would be dead without knowing why.”

John started sweating profusely when he thought of encountering other school people. Everything seemed as dream to him .He understood how heaven defying his microchip was and he was always curious about the origin of this object ever since he got that. But when he finally knew he didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

It was true that it was heaven defying since he had a chance to be the next leader of sun school but the path was not easy . He had to say good bye to his normal life and face enemies on every twist and turn.

John didn’t know what to say .He finally let out a long sigh “Uncle Peter , it seems like we are destined to meet somehow. What should we do now?”

Peter understood how John was feeling .He was a normal guy until now but suddenly everything changed. But he knew sooner or later John has to face the reality.

“Young master , first I need you tell me what exactly is in your soul. I need to come up with a plan to quickly send you to Devata realm to meet the clan elders.”

After getting Eva’s permission John nodded “According to my current understanding, it wants me to follow set of Values and complete set of Mission. When I complete my target ,I will be assigned some points . These points lets me to upgrade the microchip and get rewards.”

Peter’s mouth suddenly became so wide that anyone could fit a chicken egg effortlessly. He finally understood why it was so heaven defying.

“Young master , I think what you are getting are not points but Karma. You see, everyone in the universe get Karma whether good or bad through their actions. It accumulates on a soul over the life span and travels along with the soul to realm gate.

But in your case ,it is digitalized . You can use your karma right away for rewards. Isn’t it amazing! If people of Devata realm know about this ,they will pay any price to snatch it from you. Fortunately your microchip has come with inbuilt soul defense system .”

John let out a small smile thinking that he was really lucky .He simply considered it as some kind of self development game .But now he realized ,he was far too naïve.

“Uncle Peter , tell me more about souls?” John asked curiously.

Peter snapped out of daze and calmly explained “Souls are carriers of Karma and memories from one realm to another. No one can utilize the true potential of their soul until they travel to Devata realm . There you will have techniques that can help you realize the true potential of your soul .

Every soul has certain hidden magical power which can only be tested by unique instruments in Devata Realm. For example My unique power is concealment which is not very useful . But your master has power of wisdom . No one can compete against him when it comes to knowledge and strategies. .”

John nodded heavily ‘ I wonder what will be my soul power.’

“Uncle Peter ,can you give a quick demo of your power . I am very interested in stuff like magic.”

Peter gave a dry laugh “ Young master ,I am afraid it is not possible . I can’t use my power in lower realm . This rule applies to all the higher order souls who travel to lower realms.

Moreover a person in higher realm can go to lower realm only in soul form that is invisible to lower order creatures including humans. Take me as an example, I have travelled here in my soul form but I am unable to use any of my soul’s magical powers except flying when I leave a body .

Normally higher order souls won’t be interested to travel to lower order realms as they can’t accumulate Karma here but some missions make them leave the higher realm. Take your case as an example . Finding you and your microchip is a mission in Devata Realm given by all schools .

Because of the massive rewards powerful souls who normally disdain travelling to lower realms ,flock here enthusiastically. Since their powers are useless here , they usually possess a body to get more information.

Once you possess a person ,you have 2 options either you crush the original soul of the body so that it will vanish from the face of universe or release the original soul so that it can go to realm gate for further test.

Moon school people crush the soul the moment they possess a body . But Sun school and light school people won’t kill the soul unless it is necessary .For example ,you can see what happened to Jake over there . I actually possessed him for a little moment and crushed his soul . “

John didn’t feel any pity for Jake as he thought Jake doomed himself when he made his decision to scam him. John suddenly thought of something and asked “So, since I am having inbuilt soul defense .I don’t need to worry about being possessed right?”

Peter nodded “Correct, but you shouldn’t underestimate other school. They might have already possessed key people of this planet called Earth. So they can use power, money , anything to attack you. You shouldn’t trust anyone from now on not even your closest friends and family. You never know ,who is who .”

John understood his precarious position more clearly .For unknown reason suddenly he thought of Carl. He suddenly became anxious ‘What if he was possessed ? No there are billions of people ,why the Old man?’

Peter thought John was understanding his situation better .So didn’t disturb him ‘I am so lucky to meet the future clan leader so early .When he grows up and takes over the clan ,my position in the clan won’t be anything lower than current elders of the clan. Moreover my rewards for finding young master would be massive when I go back to Devata realm.’

John temporarily put aside the matter of Old man and asked “Uncle Peter ,there are actually 8 levels according to the system . I think when I finally reach last level, I will be qualified enough to travel to realm gate. But the problem is leveling up is too slow. At this rate I am not sure whether I can reach Devata realm within 10 years”

Peter thought for a while and said “As for as I know good Karma is your source of points. I know some methods to gain good Karma more quickly but it is too risky . We will create ripples in this small world that would draw attention from other schools.”

John was not stranger to the concept of ripple, he asked without giving up “Isn’t there any technique that creates less ripples but still effective?”

Peter chuckled “There is no such thing but we can camouflage the source of the ripples so that others won’t pin point you. But to do that we need more help . I have a partner let me contact him first . We will come up with a plan soon.”

John complied and took a cab and headed towards his home to meet his Mom .On the way he got a call from Erika .When he picked he could hear gun shots for unknown reason.

“John ,where are you? I am really scared . My grandpa already announced Luke as next CEO and the first thing Luke did was to exterminate my secret force. Currently my loyal followers are fighting outside the building .I don’t know what he will do to me once I get captured.”
