"I have buried the bodies that were in the village. And the girl is awake too."

In this log Kara seemed pale and bandaged too.

The little girl has still not woken up. it's been 2 days since she arrived here.

They have shifted her to the master bedroomm, and covered her with blankets.

She had been forced fed soup, by Reid. And he also hasn't slept since 2 days.

"Go and rest for a while. I will keep watch on her condition."

Reid didn't rely but after a while went to his room.

'I have never seen him this worried before .'

Kara knew that he loved childern a lot, the only time he can talk without stuttering was when he was with children.

*2hours has passed since Reid has gone to sleep*

"Mu.....mama... mama."

"It's alright little girl..... every thing is going to be fine."

The little girl was waking up. But she can't seem to get up and sit, as her body didn't had any energy.

When the girl slowly opened her eyes, she saw a blurry image of a woman.Thinking that she was her mother, she lifted her hand and Tried to reach Kara.

"Mama... mama.. wuaaaa!!! mama... Wuaaaaaa"*crying*

Kara ,unable to take it anymore , hugged the little girl tightly.

"I am here... I am here."

After a while the girl got silent. And slept again.

Soon the night arrived and Reid has also woken up.

She gave a brief summary of what happened to Ried, which in turn made him more worried.

He went into the kitchen again and started making soup again.

By the time he came back with the soup, the girl was already woken up on her bed. she didn't say anything, while laying on the bed she just kept staring at Kara and the now entered Ried. She was not confused anymore.

Ried ignoring her stare , sat beside her and tried to put soup in her mouth. But she didn't drink it.

"Drink it little girl, you need energy to talk and move again", while saying ,Kara gestured using hands to the girl.

"D...dri..d..rink it girl. T....then we can go and search for yo..your family together...er."

He didn't gestured and just told her outright. He knew that she may understand him as she was calling "mama" in her confused state.

The girls pupil enlarged... And after thinking for a while , she started drinking the soup.

After finishing the soup, she went to sleep again.

Kara knew that the girl's mother has already died. She was probably the half burned women in the well.

Thinking that what horrors may await the little girl when she goes back to her village. She went out of the house, while taking all tools, along with a hoe and flash light.

'I need to bury all the dead before the girl wakes up.'

That's what was in her mind."Ried! take care of the girl I am going out for a while"

"B....but it's already n...ni..ight"

"No!! this is more important"

Reid didn't rebuted her anymore. He knew what she was going to do.

"T...then ....ta..ke care"

"bye!!"

She went away. She didn't teleported much this time she teleported only 1 time before walking on foot the next 5mins and then teleported again.

As it was night and its been many days since the dragon incident. The dangerous animals were running and hunting. Thinking about that, she used teleportation at bare minimum. So in any encounter she may flee as fast as possible.

When she reached the village, what she saw horrified her. Some of the sorpses were missing and the ones that were there, were half eaten.

She control her anger. and then while keeping watch started digging a whole manually. She needed to save up her powers, in any case of chance encounter.

It was night and dangerous animals were lurking everywhere. And as her prediction went, when she was burying the 8th person.

*GROWL*

A growl came from the forest. It was not a sound of a small animal it seemed something massive, when it slowly got out of the forest.

What she saw was a big bear.... it was giantic!!.

'Now of all times....... I never encountered you in ther forest anywhere'

She could have escaped if she wanted to, but she knew that it was this beast that was feasting on the corpses. teleporting away was her last measure.

She got in her fighting mode, as usual she took out 3 knives. Which started floatingaround her, and took 2 knives in her hands.

The bear didn't see her as a threat, so it just started ramming directly into her, thinking of this situation Kara didn't teleported but dodges to the left and as she was dodging, she threw 2 knives on the bears neck.

The target was succesfully hit, but to her horror, due to the thick fur of the bear. The bear was not fataly wounded.

She called back her knives, and waited for the bear to ram again.

But the bear didn't ram foolishly this time, due to Kara's previous attack . The bear was now vary of her.

This time it slowly approached her, and after getting close. The bear attacked with its claws/paws (confused here anyone?).

Her months of training was bearing fruit. she dodge it again, but this time more elegantly.

She knew that one strike and she will be dead.

Instead attacking the bear head on, she started cutting the bear all over the body and to bleed it to death.

First she slit the paws/claws(please help) so that its movement gets slowed down a little and then kept making small cuts all over the bears body

*After 10mins*

Due to continuous dodging and controling the knives, Kara has gotten exhausted, she wouldnt be able to continue it anyomore.

The bear has slowed down, but it didn't seem to be as much exhausted as Kara. she knew that she can't keep doing it any longer.

As the Bear got used to the knives it always defended its face, so she didn't got any chance to attack it.

She thought of running away, but stopped.

'If i would have buried the bodies after bringing the girl back, this wouldn't have happened'

Thinking of this , she thought of a risky idea.

and without giving it a second thought.... She.....

She teleported , and when she re-appeared she was in front of the bear.

"TAKE THIS!! AAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHH"

She thrusted both the knives in the bears eyes. And then with all her psychic power, thrusted both knives through its skull.

She thought she had won, but as the bear was coming down, with its remaining life, the bear rammed its paw/claw(please anyone help) on kara's shoulder.

"Ahhhhhhhhnn!!!"

As she watched in horror how the bear twitched. her mind got blanked for a second. She knew that she can't continue burying the bodies for the time being.

She ripped her clothes and used it as bandage to stop the bleeding.

"It's hurt a lot, but I need to go back, or I will make him worry"

"Sorry but i will come back and bury all of you tomorrow"

She bowed to the dead and then teleported away ... this time she treded more carefully. as the smell of blood may attract animals.

After reaching home, she silently went to take the first aid!! she didn't want to bother Ried and make him worried.

She elegantly cleaned her wound and bandaged it. When she reached upstairs what she found was Ried reading a picture book to the little girl.

she didn't called out to him, she just stood there for a while and then went back to her room.

As she was laying down on her bed, she remember something.

"oh my god I forgot it again"

She once again has forget about her knives.
