《I study magic, for destruction?》Chapter 32

Die.
I shot the giant spell from my finger and it spiraled towards the armored freak. A direct hit, spearing him backwards until he slammed onto the wall. He isn’t dead of course… probably.
I looked at the snot nosed shorty hovering off the ground. He looked back and forth towards his unconscious friend and turned around to fly the other direction.
I put my foot to the floor and ice started to coat towards him. He tried his damndest to get away, but I wasn’t just about to let him off scot free. Where would be the fairness in that? His friend would surely be grateful afterwards knowing that he had someone with him in the hospital.
I could hear the whimpers as my ice crawled up the whirlpool of air beneath his feet that allowed him to hover. The ice crept across the tornado, freezing and having the kid tumble forward face first. He tried to scramble up but I extended the ice. Soon the whole section was covered in ice.
He slipped and slipped as he tried to get his footing. I walked forward with the ice particles falling down around me. It was like winter in summer. Can you feel it? The chill in the air? Isn’t it just wonderful.
He turned onto his back and looked up to me as I crouched down to him. I held my fingers towards him and sprayed an ice mist. Soon his whole body was frozen. I stood up and turned around, finding the scrawny one fumbling with the rune circle.
Disgusting. People who do not know the simplest basis of knowledge should not be fit to wield it. What benefit is there in having useless shits using magic for nothing better than to kick a soccer ball or a coating from mosquito bites.

I looked down at his frightful face and let a smirk take over my face. A mage like you doesn’t deserve magic. You… don’t deserve… magic.
I brought my hand to the top of his head and started to circulate my ice magic. I let my mana flow into him as I watched him try to pry my hand off of him. I could feel my ice mana seeping into his body.
Now I pull.
I reversed the flow of mana from inside his body and transferred it into me. I rolled my neck in ecstacy. Feeling power like never before. I felt something that I never knew could happen. I welled up the mana inside of me and a giant pillar of ice erected into the sky.
I smiled at my newfound ability. I will drain the power of every useless person that dares call themselves a mage.
I summoned a shard of ice into my hand and looked at my reflection. I could see my black hair growing out and lightening into a golden color. Blonde?
I ran my hand through my hair, examining through the shard. Not bad, not bad at all. A bit messy, but I say it matches.
I could feel my vision blur. The world around me all blending in. I squinted my eyes, things becoming clearer. Looking back down to the shard in my hand, I felt like I needed something that could help me see.
Grabbing on the ends of the ice, I infused mana into it so I could mold it into my design. After creating two circles and two thin pieces of ice attached to it, I soon had crystalline glasses. Waving my hand over the glasses, they polished and firmed. Now there were no differences between this and a pair made by a craftsman.

I brought them to my eyes and the world became much clearer. I used magic to stick the glasses to the sides of my head so they can never fall off.
Looking down to the passed out body of the kid, my attention turned to the item on the ground.
Is this the badge?
Picking it up, the object was pretty small. I could sense magic inside of it though. I poured a bit of my mana into it and it started to glow. The item flew into the air, extending itself in the air. The object expanded itself into a crimson hilted sword. About the same size as Lucy’s I believe. It twirled in the air coming down, catching it and feeling the magic that was actually inside of it.
A magic item?

It's very experimental so readers; do note. There are major changes in writing style within the series as I keep testing things out. Of course, that does not mean that the story actually deviates from its intended progress. It just means that your reading experience may fluctuate quite often... Anyways, I hope you enjoy this story. :D p.s. not sure if there will be any sex scene in this novel but the boy starts off as 7... so... long time till we get there. May have lollies though! The overgrown mansion
The main character returns to her deceased recluse uncle's home to get his effects in order. This is the beginning of a lovecraftian story inspired by somebody telling me about the Brombeermonster, a particulary nasty blackberry shrub overtaking her family's abandonned home. A backdrop for a story about eery and unexplained things if I ever heard about one. I will post the two parts I already posted on reddit; more maybe if there is interest from the community.

The Light in Death
Set in a modern city where Jesse Gil narrates his experience running a business capitalizing on his ability to heal any affliction — even death. He's forced to take on a student, Shawn Ellison, a spoiled college dropout who awakens abilities of his own, to prevent him from accidentally killing himself. As a result, Jesse must become more than just a healer. He'll need to master his power over energy: the fuel for life, the soul, and magic. I'm uploading the initial draft of each chapter so people can follow along with the story as I complete the manuscript. I'm hoping to gather interest, and potentially attract an editor. After going back to revise and edit; I will self-publish it.
