The final boss completed its spell and a four foot sphere of condensed wind flew forth and slammed into the golden wind golem.

The wind lord began to cast its AOE self burst spell which forced me to wait to approach, but allowed for my cooldowns to reset.
A few seconds later he completed the spell and I rushed forward and attacked.

The Wind Lord had reached less than 10% health and began to enrage instantly becoming a large swirl of wind that spun like a tornado.
I could feel myself being dragged toward the Wind Lord, who was gathering speed and becoming larger and larger. With a great effort, I managed to pull away and get back to where Tide stood.
The golems were sucked up into the tornado and whipped around violently.

Shit! I couldn't get close to that thing!
The bow! I'm not the best archer but I do have training with a bow, enough to be able to hit a target.
I accessed my inventory and equipped the flame bow.
The bowstring was made of magical fire and the bow had an awesome red metallic look to it that was smooth and reflective. It was covered in runes that lit up as I pulled back the string, which created an arrow made of flame.
A bow like this was far preferable to a regular recurve bow. I didn't have to fumble with knocking an arrow, I just pulled back and let go.

Upon firing the first arrow I noticed that a number was showing in the corner of my screen. 99/100
I also noticed that the bow was powered by soulstones embedded on the back, almost hidden from view.
It must be the number of charges for the bow.
Tide was forced to yell at me, because the Wind Lord was producing so much sound I could barely hear him, " Keep going! He's almost dead! Go! Hurry!"
"I am!"
I shot the bow as fast as I could.

Hit!Hit!Hit!Hit! (93/100)
Extremely effective!(fire🔥)
You have dealt 929 damage! (15/30000hp)
I was so focused on using the bow that I didn't notice Tide drawing a rune.
A ball of light shot out from his rune and hit the boss.

"Yeah!" Tide pumped the air in excitement and I smiled in satisfaction.

I had begun to trust Tide and knew the rank 2 soulstone would be useful to us.
"Loot!"
I ran to loot the bodies, excited about what I would find.

"Soooo awesome!!"
Tide ran around the room hooting and hollering in excitement at his loot like a fool.
I heard the grinding of gears and a pedestal began to rise from the center of the room.
This only added to his excitement. "Another Hieroglyph! Holy crap, I gotta hurry!"
He frantically pulled his scrolls out of his inventory and began to rapidly trace the rune and create magical scrolls.
He talked to himself as he worked, "Another spell from that strange school of magic! This one is rank 2! It's so simple too!"
I saw that the pedestal had the same four symbols -META-
The rune that Tide was tracing was just a circle with the beginning of 3 lines that did not complete or intersect.
"What's it called?" I asked Tide.
"Copy"
"Yes I know your copying but what is the spell called?"
"It's called copy." He said with a laugh.
I nodded and let him focus.
He was able to complete 20 scrolls before the pedestal dropped back into the floor and a door opened in the wall. The door was the same as the last floor and led to a stairway.
"Shall we?" I said to Tide who had a big grin on his face.
"Let's do this!"
We entered the stairway and moved on to the third floor.
Before us in the corridor was an earth elemental, a wind elemental, a fire elemental, and an ice elemental.
Shit!

Revolver
Theo Lane is chosen to be the avatar of a deity to partake in a tournament to decide the One God. He isn’t the only one. No. There are a lot more than he would like. Of course the apathetic high-school student would never agree to the desperate pleas of the said goddess, but there was a reward for the winner. He could become a god himself if he won. The greatest hassle was the stage itself. Instead of Earth, it would be on another planet with technology similar to the medieval ages with a few twists. A planet thrice the size of Earth with denizens of its own, with a history of its own. There was only one wish in his life, and that was to bring back the one he failed to protect. If murdering every other person in the world was what it would take, so be it. It was his only chance.
