I was sitting near the obsidian tree looking at everything I had gathered in the inventory. There was a lot of interesting stuff to look at. Like the green tree leaves, that were used by the lizard for its nest and the yellow fruits that I got from the yellow tree. I was finally able to use appraisal on both of them and the brown metal tree.

[Bird Leather Tree]

A tree with leather-like bark and leaves. It grows in places where a Sheep-fur Bird died. The birds have green fur covering their bodies for when they die, which gets dissolved over a couple of days in the ground. From there a leather tree starts growing by absorbing mana and sunlight. The tree can grow quite big in under a year. The sheep-fur birds breed like Ruby Rabbits and die even faster because of random heart attacks, so a lot of these trees can be found in Loswarier.

[Soft Fruit Tree]

A tree with soft foam-like fruits growing from its branches. The fruit is not eaten because of its tastelessness but it is safe to eat. Its outer layer is very strong but still foam-like and won’t break normally. This tree can grow anywhere randomly inside Loswarier because of the rituals performed here long ago. The tree takes up to 2-3 years to reach its maturity and grow fruits. The picked fruits will grow back in 2 weeks.

[Foamy Flower]

These flowers can be found under the soft fruit tree. Very rarely, when the foam fruit breaks its outer shell, the stuff inside the shell falls to the bottom of the tree. After some time being in the air, it starts to produce a tranquil smell that calms the one who smelled it. If a lot of these flowers are placed in a closed space for a long time, a sleeping gas-like substance can be produced. These flowers can sustain themselves fine even with no sunlight or water for 2 weeks.

[Brotal Tree]

A tree with metal-like bark and roots that are very flexible. Even when the tree is bent to an impossible angle, it won’t break. When its bark comes off, it starts to become soft and lose all its metal-like properties. After 3 days, it loses all metal-like properties and becomes cotton-like. The special thing about this cotton is that it is more flexible than normal cotton and provides elasticity than normal cotton can’t. Good to make clothes with.

I am in love with appraisal now.

Not only does it give me more information but also provides me with random facts and suggestions about this world. I have no idea what ruby rabbits are or why the birds get heart attacks randomly, still, this is very helpful since I know nothing about this world. But even when I don’t know where I am, I can for sure say that this place is bad news. The thing about the rituals that I read made me wonder, just what kind of place is this forest.

Putting those thoughts to the back of my head, I get ready to make some equipment. There are two reasons for my equipment making. The first and most important reason is that I want cool-looking armor and weapon. You just can’t go without weapons in a fantasy world right. The second is that I want to explore this forest. The stat boost that I got made me confident enough to go out there and explore this place. I also want to check what my new body and skills can do.

I was ready to leave as soon as I made some clothes for myself but then I read about the sleeping gas and it made me think that I probably should have some backup items for if the unexpected happened. Hence I decided to make some equipment.

I have already made all the tools needed to craft the recipes by using obsidian branches and metal handling. Since the tools kind of felt uncomfortable to hold, I also covered all their handles in leather leaves from the nest for a more comfortable grip. Now I need to make everything that I know the recipe for to get a better feeling of how the crafting works.

First I decided to make more threads because there was not enough of it for everything. I decided to use 120 obsidian branches to make the thread. The biggest branch was 6 meters and the smallest was 1 meter. I am very thankful for this inventory because if not for this, it would have been a pain to carry all the branches. I also made sure to use most of the 6-meter branches for threads so I can have as much as possible. I just needed to think in my head that I needed the biggest branches and the inventory put them out in front of me. Now the first step is to make cotton again and so I press the recipe for that.

While making the cotton, I got two new kinds of cotton but that recipe was not like the others. It had a chance to be produced or not. That means even if I have the recipe, it's not confirmed that I would get the hard or sharp cotton. Must be because of my metal handling skill. Speaking of that, my skill leveled up again but I couldn't check what was new since I was in auto-mode.

It is not incredible since the range is limited but no mana cost made it appealing enough. But if this is not magic, what is this I wonder.

Now was the time to make a thread but it was already dark and my mana was very low. I had plenty of energy to work but there was no way for me to see anything.

“When I go exploring I am either bringing some light or eating something with night vision,” I say to myself in a determined tone. I take out some meat and blood to fill my belly and then lay in the nest in the obsidian tree.

Suddenly I had a thought that made me sit up straight. ‘ Since when I use the recipes I am in auto mode so I should be able to do it in the dark too right’.

Think that I go to recipes and press the short sword recipe. Then my body starts moving in the dark and takes out the hammer and knife from the inventory. ‘ it works’ I think with a little smile. Since my mana was low, metal handing could not be used right now so my body must do everything manually. It started using the obsidian hammer to hit the branch and the knife to shave some parts of the branch here and there. My body was going at it like a pro that has been in this craft since it was born even with no vision, I couldn't see anything too but that was the feeling I got from its movements. After some time, when my mana recovered a little, my body used metal handling to do something and I had control again. Then a blue screen appeared in front of me.

My [craft] leveled up and I got new recipes. On top of that, I even got the [Craftsmen] Class but the sad thing was that there was no more auto craft.

“haha, can’t make it too easy huh,” I say with a light laugh.

I wave and send all the notifications away. Then as I lie down on the leather leaves, a farm kind of energy starts to enter my brain from the outside. It felt good and didn’t hurt like with the stat gains. Feeling that farm energy working, I went to sleep in peace.
