《God Particles》Chapter 1

BANG BANG BANG
The sound of someone knocking on the door isn't the best thing that can happen to you when you're sleeping.
BANG BANG BANG
That feeling of warmth that you have secured inside your blankets... You just don't want to let it go.
BANG BAN-
"SHUT THE FUCK UP THIS INSTANT OR I'M GOING TO RIP YOUR FUCKING THROAT OUT!"
A little aggression is always useful. The banging stopped, but so did the feeling of warmth. The PDA that was laying next to the bed, was picked up.
"Well, I'm sorry for waking YOU up for YOUR important day! Next time wake up yourself!" Girly voice came from the other side of the door. An annoying girly voice.
"Fuck off! I can set an alarm and plus, NOBODY asked YOU to wake ME up for MY important business! Tell mom that I'm coming!" The PDA disappeared into the bed sheets and from there, voice was heard again. "It's only fucking 8:30. It's starting at 10. Why is she such a bitch?"
Bed sheets were dropped on the ground and from the bed, a tall boy with an average build stood up. Short, unkempt black hair and bold eyebrows. His eye color was black, so black that his pupil and iris were indistinguishable. Wearing nothing but boxers, he walked out into the hallway and went into the bathroom. He switched the lights on and went over to the sink. He picked up a small item that had the same shape as his mouth. He put some toothpaste inside the "thing" and then put it in his mouth. A few seconds later, his teeth were clean. He checked himself in the mirror and silently said "What a handsome bastard" before walking back to his bedroom.
He opened his drawer and dressed up. Black sleeveless shirt along with black jeans were always his 2 favourite clothes. He then pulled out a white hoodie and went downstairs. As always, he heard his mom singing some kind of song.
"Mornin' Mom." He said before sitting at a table. His mother's name was Erina. She was 35 year old woman with average height and build. Only notable features of her would be her F cup. She had blonde hair that was tied into a chignon.
"Good morning Joseph. Did you sleep well?" She was always a ditzy woman. Her carefree personality didn't help that at all too.
"Guess so. Where is that spawn of satan?"
"Geez, don't talk to your sister like that. She is visiting her friend in the hospital. Anyways Joseph, Today you will show the world your ability, right? right?" She was always excited to see Joseph's ability. He never showed it to anyone, so she was always curious.
"Yes. But it starts at 10, so I still have time to play some vi-"
DING DONG
"Someone is there. I'll open it up" Said Erina as she walked out in the hallway.
Who is there? And why today? Please just don't be her. I don't know if you exist god, but please don't let it be her
"J-Joseph! Are you in some kind of trouble?" Joseph recognized his mother's tone right away. She was definitely worried and scared. Without hesitating, he quickly ran to the front door. Fortunately, It was no trouble.

Tall and muscular man was standing in the door way. He had long light red hair and big beard of the same color. Add some scars on his hands and face and you'll have the image of the most brutal man alive. He looked towards Joseph and broadly smiled. Joseph returned the gesture before walking towards the man and shaking his gigantic hand with all the power that he had.
"Good morning, Mister Asimov!"
"Good morning, Joseph!" Heavy russian accent made his talking even more brutal.
"D-Do you know him J-Joseph?" Erina asked as she looked at Joseph.
"Oh mom, sorry for scaring you. hehe." Joseph pointed his index finger at Mister Asimov. "This is Mikhail Asimov. He is a friend of mine and he is one of the best people out there. The only thing "weird" about him is that he is in fact boss of Russian Mafia."
"Wait Joseph, You shouldn't tell her this easi-"
"Oh okay! If he is your friend, I'm not afraid at all. Welcome to our humble home." Erina said before walking off in the kitchen to continue preparing food. Asimov was shocked, but Joseph simply stood there before speaking.
"She's like that all the time. I wonder how she survived in this world at all."
"Yes. You have a very weird family."
"I'm taking that as a compliment. Please Mister Asimov. Let's sit down." Joseph invited Asimov into the living room. He also noticed that Asimov didn't have his usual body guards.
Weird... They are usually with him all the time. Not that he needs them. They always looked like mini-bosses that you have to beat before taking on the boss himself.
Both of them went into rather large living room, with 2 armchairs in front of a sofa. Asimov sat in the armchair, while Joseph nonchalantly dropped on the sofa.
He looks so relaxed. Is he going to tell me some good news?
"Before anything, I want to wish you a happy birthday. Although, I'm late by a day. Here is your gift." Asimov said as he handed Joseph a small box with golden texture. Joseph opened it and took out his gift. It was an eyepatch.
"It is made from the skin of Mountain Chimera. It is resistant to almost anything. Also I applied some of the scales of Desert Lizards in there. It is both beautiful and unbreakable. It is armor for your eye!"
"Yup. Armor for my "destroyed" eye." Joseph didn't have his right eye. He was little when he lost it so he doesn't remember how he did it. He never liked the idea of wearing eyepatches. They were uncomfortable, but this was a gift from the man he respected. "Thanks Asimov. This might be the first time I will wear an eyepatch permanently. And if it actualy is "Unbreakable", Maybe it will be last time too."
"Glad you like it!" Asimov said before bursting out in his typical, brutal, middle-aged man laughter. Erina came inside the living room with a cup of coffee and glass of hot chocolate.
"Thanks ma. But can you leave the room for 5 minutes?"
"Oh, Of course! Just make sure to drink it while it's hot." She said before leaving the room.

I don't know if I like or hate that carefree attitude of yours.
"Now, Mister Asimov. Tell me the main reason of your arrival. You also don't have any bodyguards, so I guess that you have some good news. But please, start with bad ones first."
"Well son... It is true that I came here with good news, 2 in fact! But there are no bad news. So listen!" Joseph took a sip from hot chocolate, waiting for "good news".
"Good news number 1! The influence of my family extended in our City B even further! Now even this region is under our influence thanks to you. I swear upon the name of my family that I will protect your family." Asimov said as he placed his right hand on his heart.
OHOHO! I like where this is going!
"And let me guess. The other good news is that my software worked right?"
"YES! I wanted to say that myself, but it doesn't matter. Your software worked perfectly! We managed to completely cover our tracks and also damage Yakuza irrevocably! I transfered money to all of your accounts. But I have 1 question."
"Ask away." Joseph said as his mouth was still grinning from satisfaction.
"Why are you helping us? Why aren't you helping Yakuza?" Joseph's grin disappeared and now he had his usual pokerface.
"Well... there are 3 reasons why. First and foremost, I saved your life back then. It would be really awkward if I would try to go against you after that. Second, I know russian and I don't know japanese. It's a pain in the ass to learn that language. Well, third reason is that you guys don't have a good techinical side in both offense and defense, so by joining you, I can test various things when helping you." Joseph finished his hot chocolate at the same time as Asimov finished his coffee.
"I see... Well then. Today is your important day. Your Ability Exam!" Asimov said happily before his faced changed expression. He was very serious now. "Are you sure that you will show your power to the world? It is unique power and therefore you will have lots of enemies in the goverment. That is, if you don't like participating in the experiments as guinea pig."
That's where I actually need your help.
"Nah, I'm pretty sure that you will protect me from them. Even goverment doesn't dare to touch you guys, so I think I'll be okay." Joseph said as he smiled. "Also. Can you please drive me there? I don't want to be late. Hehe"
Please say yes. I don't want to meet any annoying people in the streets.
"HAHAHA! You got it my friend! Let's eat breakfast and show the world that your power is truly superior!"
Agreeing so fast? What a cool guy. Anyways, Let's eat!
It didn't take long for them to eat and head out. The ride wasn't exactly the best one. Sure a brand new car with scotch inside it is cool, but listening to the stories of veteran isn't the best experience. There was only 200 and something meters left, but Joseph asked Asimov to stop the car. He needed some time to think about something. He came out of the car and continued his way to the exam.
There are 2 kinds of exams. I need a "Duel Exam" to show my powers. Yes. That will be the best way to show it. I don't need any weapons either. The street is getting crowded.
Joseph remembered about his gift. He quickly took out a small box and from it, a black eyepatch. He put the eyepatch to his eyes and somehow, it automatically attached itself to the eye. The sensation was weird at first, but as he continued his way down the street, it got weaker and weaker until it completely disappeared. Now, it felt like he didn't have an eyeptach at all.
You crazy old man... How much did this shit cost? Let's think of it as my lucky charm.
The crowd was too boisterous for Joseph's liking. He didn't hate social interaction, but being in the middle of so many people was uncomfortable. Maybe this was because of Joseph habit of staying in a single room for days. Soon, he heard a word that was repeated too many times.
"Look! It's the Princess!"
"Ohmygod! It's really her! The Princess!"
"Princess!"
"Princess!"
"Princess!"
"Princess!"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Joseph screamed. His single eye looked at people surrounding him. He returned every single gaze. Boys looked back annoyed, but as soon as they saw 6'3 feet tall, one-eyed boy, their faces quickly paled with fear. Girls looked at him with fear, but after a few seconds, all of them were blushing.
"Tch!" Joseph just clicked his tongue, before going towards the gigantic gates. This was the entrance to the Ability Exam and also gates to his future school. His day was already filled with too many events and after this exam, he would definitely drink again. He simply put his hood up and quickly went inside the gigantic facility, pushing every single person in front of him aggressively. Before he knew it, he was already in front of a door. He opened it and went inside.
"Hello! First I will need to fil-"
"Joseph Shura Parks. Gender: Male, Age: 16. Height: 6'3. Weight: 200 lbs. Blood type: O-positive. From City B. I want to participate in "Duel Exam". I have necessary funds. Can I go now?" The woman in the chair wasn't surprised. She quickly and efficiently typed the information in her computer. Joseph extended his arm with PDA and the woman scanned it with hers.
"Yes, you are free now! Good luck!"
"I don't need luck" Joseph said as he went out of the room.
Damn. Even though I said it that fast she managed to write it down? Wonder what kind of ability she's got.
Joseph looked at his PDA and saw 11:45. He had to wait again.
"For fuck's sake..." He said before going out in the yard of this gigantic school and sitting down on the bench. He removed his PDA from his arm and launched an RPG game.
After I got that ability, I don't think I even have any luck left hehe.
