Chapter 5:
"I have a question for you Ardale," asked Tomini. Ardale was blushing but why? what kind of thought was going through her head?
"Y-yes Mr. T-Tomini" Ardales voice was shaking. "Why hasn't anyone pointed out that I'm only a 17 years old kid?" Replied Tomini.
"Only 17? What? You're funny you're over 16 so you've been an adult for a year now." Ardale giggled. "I'm just joking Ardale" Replied, it appeared that in this world if you're 16 you're considered a man.
"Please leave the food on my bed and please take a break you've worked all day" Tomini spoke to which Ardale replied with a simple bow and left.
Meanwhile, Ardale walked back to her room she couldn't help but hear Galen Talking to himself in his room. "Oh crap I was so scared but What if I had died while practicing those martial arts ?? And what is this nonsense about becoming captains of an army I'm just a farmer" Galen Wailed
Ardale didn't want to eavesdrop so she headed towards her room.
Morning arrived and it was time for practice again Duron and Ren were in the courtyard but where was Galen he was nowhere to be found? "Let's go see if he's in his room," Duron said to Ren. The pagoda wasn't all the big but compared to the villager's houses the pagoda was indeed magnificent in the people's eyes.
Finally arriving at Glen's room they knocked on his door and came in. "You're right he is here!" Ren stating the obvious. "Please don't drag me back I don't want to die" Begged Galen "Quit being a coward Lord Tomini saved our village the least you can do is give your life to him" Duron stated. They began dragging their comrade back to the courtyard. They began practicing their martial arts. While Ardale began cooking their meals.
The stove she cooked on although she didn't know it, the stove was engraved with runes that apply heat the pans and pots. Although this must have seemed impressive the spell that was used to cast had a limit. If Tomini wanted to increase the size of the house he would need to hire workers. Tomini had came downstairs on a mission he needed to acquire the gold from the dead soldiers, the reason being that if he did not acquire the gold then there would be no economy no trade, in short, there would be no workers.

Stepping outside of his home Tomini went out to seek the village elder. On his way to the elder's house, he could help but see the unfortunate state the village was homeless people orphans. He needed to fix this. Reaching the elders home he began to knock on his door, within a couple of moments the door was opened, the elder stood in front of him and spoke "Saviour please com in I know it's not much but I can make some tea".
"I would love some tea please do I come here to ask something of you I would like for you to tell the villagers to gather the gold that was on the dead soldiers" Tomini had asked. "Ah yes I can do that but what do you need the gold for?' the elder shook his head. "We need blacksmiths and we need to improve the living conditions of the villagers you can tell the villagers they can keep 20% of the gold they find and here take this for yourself?" replied Tomini handing the elder a silver ring.
The silver ring gave the wearer increased vitality. Tomini though this was suitable reward thinking that the village elder would be able to complete his task better without the burden of his old age.
"Thank you Lord Tomini I will tell them right away! " the old man finished ecstatically. Tomini had finished his conversation and his tea so it was time for him to leave the next step was to find some valuable resources a metal mine would do for now. With that thought, Tomini flew up and looked for ore deposits nearby.
Luckily he didn't have to go more than 6 miles to find one. Tomini had spotted a mine in the middle of a grassland the only problem was that it was surrounded by goblins. It appeared they lived in the mine, there were about 120 goblins give or take a few. The mine was most likely created by the goblins not only as a home but to create weapons for themselves.

"No wonder the villagers did not dare and try to claim the mine as theirs". It wasn't the goblins were in the level range of 10-12 even if they were level 5 a squad of imperial soldiers of 50 wouldn't dare attack the goblins den for the simple fact that goblins had near-human intelligence and on top having small boding goblins were extremely agile creatures able to take down multiple careless soldiers.
Tomini decided he should go down there and take a closer look. Landing in the middle of the goblins he could clearly see the repulsiveness of the goblin creatures standing 3 feet tall an abnormally large nose and sickly teal color to their skin. "Goblins you are trespassing on my land if you do not wish to be exterminated leave now" Tomini stated, but atlas none of the Goblins moved.
"Why does no one learn?" Tomini sighed. In the next moment, Tomni began casting a spell, magic circles began appearing around him raising his hand he spoke "Dark Attribute Blood Fog" all the bird that was previously chirping. the animals that howled or roared had stopped it was complete silence. The animals could sense something was wrong they began moving away they knew their life was in danger. Sadly only half of the animals made it out alive the dark blood fog encompassed the radius of half a mile. Nothing was left not even the corpses.
Tomini decided to use this spell because it didn't affect the land and the animals would respawn unfortunately for the goblins they would not. Tomini had felt no remorse he had given them the option to leave his domain, they had chosen wrong. He had already been through hell in his previous world, he was unfazed by the death he caused.
"Now let's see what kind of mine this is shall we?" Tomini spoke to himself. Going about 15 feet into the mine he had to cast a spell to be able to see it was pitch black. Another 10 feet and he had found the end of the mine it appeared that the goblins were hadn't found any kind of metal he began to lean on the wall of the mine in disappointment. To his surprise, the wall started cracking and crumbling the wall fell. To Tomnini's surprise, there were deposited of some strange blue metal.
Looking at the log files of the Systems it seems that the people of the land had a ranking system for the metals as well just like the spells from 1-9. He picked it up a chunk of ore. Tomini used his inspection skill it revealed that it was a 7th tier metal but I had no name. Could it be this metal was never discovered? Tomini pondered for a min and decided to give it a name. He needed a name that would suit the metal it was cold to the touch and it was a metallic blue color.
After contemplating many names Tomini finally decided to call it "Frost Iron".All he needed a blacksmith to forge this metal into weapons. Tomini decided was time to go home he wanted to check on the progress of his captains to be.

Like many of my peers, I've discovered that life is not quite what I expected it to be. As I age, I've begun to find that many of the sayings and truths that my parents, authority figures, and friends have passed on to me were outright lies. Every person I know has been subject to the same interactions, which got me thinking, why not write a compilation of stores about my life experiences to date.
