I had one task: Put the voting ballots in the mailbox.
It was a normal Monday afternoon. The week had barely begun, and I was doing what I was supposed to be... perusing the online marketpl━ahem, I mean, school. Anywho, I heard a clank, thump, and a, “Get out of town, you honky-tonked *****!” from the ol’ cowboy insult button outside of my bedroom window (let it be known, it goes off anytime someone steps on the porch, and I can’t seem to find the darned thing). Then the dog barked. Obviously, someone was at the door.
Hopping out of my seat (not a short joke, I hop, okay?), I slipped on my slides, and went to the door. Through the pair of french doors, I saw a set of packages, then looked up and practically felt my heart leap right out of my chest. A horrid feeling if you’ve ever had the experience. The mailman was already at the mailbox two hours ahead of schedule!
I turned, and made three (ten) long strides to the dining room table, grabbed the stack of ballots, and rushed to the door. I swung that door open, and closed it on my doggy’s nosy nose! Poor dear. It’s a good thing her pain tolerance is, well... What do you call a dog that doesn’t feel pain? Either way, she’s okay, y’all.
Once the door was closed, I paused at the edge of the deck. Before me was a lake (a puddle). But clearly, I had to make the ultimate sacrifice for my one task. I leaped as far across the lake as I possibly could (hardly getting a drop of water on me) and raced down the driveway! Next I knew, I was flying down the street after the mailman, and this man was a professional. At the next mailbox, he stopped briefly. Boom! Done. Next.

You gotta be kidding me, I thought, I’m never gonna catch this guy.
But that didn’t discourage me. If anything, I ran faster. So fast, I thought my (little) legs were gonna run right out from under me!
Just as the mailman rounded the corner, a rickety old black car came around, slowed, and stopped. They stared. Not sure what they were doing, but they stared. After a second (as if I could see the lightbulb go off over the vehicle), they put their car in reverse, and went back around the corner! As I came around, I saw them expertly back all the way up, then swing in front of the mailman at the final mailbox in the intersection.
Yes! I was gonna make it!
I rounded the mail truck, came to a lovely full bearded mailman, and breathlessly handed him the ballots.
“Thanks,” I wheezed, backed away, and waved thanks to my hero of the day.
My legs felt like jello. The walk home was unpleasant. At the very least I accomplished my one━wait a second... My one task was to put the ballots in the mailbox... Whoops.

I'll try this cultivation thing
Life is the biggest mystery of all. Magic is fascinating when depicted in a book but it becomes a normal thing when it's used for daily chores. How will this young soul deal with the things that cross the boundary of one's imagination? A prologue or few chapters may look same but the plot might thicken and plotholes might shorten. God Slaying System
Issac was known to be one of the strongest players of Blue Sky City. During the initial stages of the start of The Heavenly Domain, he had already gained a lot of power and was going to become even stronger then the guild leader. But, he was betrayed by the guild leader as he feared he would be more powerful then himself and was killed until he got back to level 0. Heck, they even stripped him of his 'Sword of Heroes' that he got from completing the Diamond Ranked quest and took it away. After all that, he was banished from the guild left with nothing. Now, he could not even compete for being strong as he was. That was the time he found the God Slayer Temple. After this encounter, he was no longer the same as before. The main point is that I got the inspiration to write this novel by reading the novel “Reincarnation of The Strongest Sword God”. So, you may find some minor similarities but, well the story is completely different and the ideas are mine. So, enjoy reading my novel. This novel is also available on Webnovel under the same name. The updates on the novel are a bit faster there.

Tale of the mage hero [Completed]
so I've been into rising of the shield hero for a while now... a lot of things about it ALWAYS bugged me starting with the fact that the world functions like a game and the heroes are supposed to fight together in a party.... BUT WHERE'S THE ARCHMAGE?! THE BLATANT DISRESPECT TO THE MAGE CLASS IS REAL AND ANGERING! so I decided as a gamer who rather enjoys being a mage and healer, I'd rectify that. and other things. for all intents and purposes this is a self insert but I will be using my proxy OC that I use in my nutty fangirl daydreams. DON'T WORRY! I'M NERFING MY PROXY! this will follow the plot of the anime because..... I want to. and I'm..... LAZY~! and using the manga is too much trouble and the light novel is 800+ chapters long. So FUCK THAT! anyways if you read this and think it's lackluster then I want to see you try your hand at writing tate no yuusha fics! no that's not a challenge or insult it's just a desperate plea for more tate fics... we need some more variety! Alright I'm gonna be honest here. This story is laughably bad. So read at your own risk. The only reason I'm not revising it is because 1 I'm Lazy as fuck and 2 to serve as a lesson on what NOT to do for new writers. So like I said, read at your own risk.
