So I went straight to you. I played along til I got my wish, I got my immortality. So I left. I never felt at home in a royal castle.” Gowa paused, “I left you, so why did you come after me? Did you really think I would just say, you’re right, and come back with you? You’re a fool, so leave me alone now!”

So Gowa was a lie. A lie through and through. All those years, all that time I spent. All a lie. All just for Gowa to steal my immortality power.

“Gowa, please. I’ll give you whatever you want, so please, give this up. Please just come home with me.”

“I never felt an ounce of love for you, so leave.”

Have it your way.

But you’ll have to pay the price.

I pulled out a scrap of paper, and wrote the word, “Reconstructing…” on it.

“Goodbye.” I said firmly. As the fall leaves blew past my face, I was lifted away.
